Nice scoot dude!! I would 100% not be putting 87 octane in it use 93!!!!!! Sounds like gas/air mixture to me.. it's nice to have a few different air filters to try with the same jet, even stock with an extra hole or two in it... does it get good power on the middle stand? Try to get it going on the stand 1st then you can see how it transfers to the wheel with a load on it and make adjustments to the transmission.. good luck with it
Thank you I really appreciate that, I am about to start this bike back up in two weeks finally! And have her running better and stronger than ever, Faster too of course lol What check this link out right here it is a website that I use to buy all of my aftermarket parts for this bike there is a whole entire section dedicated to this exact bike with parts, This link is simply for brakes for this bike though www.scootertuning.ca/en/1225-brakes
Well the transmission wouldn’t stop the engine reving out so your problem still lies with the fueling or compression. Have you checked the reed valve? Because if that’s gone bad it would cause this issue
Everything’s completely brand new polini intake everything, compressions good I got some ideas I’m attending to tomorrow to start eliminating problems 👌
Definitely not going to do that I will tune this bike around the power that it has now because I’m tuning everything to the power that these parts will put out. If you have been following this build you know that I built everything at once the bottom and the top end of the motor. The entire intake system and the exhaust
Too much oil is one thing it pukes oil out the exhaust so I’m going to correct that mixture see if that fixes anything if it doesn’t then I’m going to replace the CDI with a D restricted one since the one I have is stock still, If it’s not that start swapping out jets and digging into air/fuel stuff
@@davidhofinger4927 I had a similar issue to that too (to much oil). Once I leaned out the oil in the gas mixture it wouldn't bog at the top end anymore. Excited to see what fixes it! Keep going and learning!
@@ThePdidy10 I just took it down to a 36:1 ratio And picked up a whole 2 to 3 mph faster lol but I did notice a difference, Still spits out oil out the pipe but not as much and idols a whole lot better and the spark plug looks a lot better as well. I’m going to install fifteen hundred pound clutch springs that I have, Order a bigger jetting kit because I believe it’s not getting enough fuel and I need to order an aftermarket spark plug cap because I’ve been through two of them because I keep ripping the internals of the cap right off cheap shit
@@davidhofinger4927 Doesn't sound like its the main reason but helped. I know when I was running a 50cc two stroke I went down to something like a 42:1 mixture, especially once the engine had been running for a while. Also, before you order larger jets have you done a spark plug chop? Its a way to check if your engine is running to rich or to lean.
@@ThePdidy10 Yes I did some plug chops but I could not read my plug because of all the excess oil I’m familiar with how to tune bikes I built GY6 bikes before my built Taotao rips, It’s just my first time building and tuning a two-stroke so I’m learning as I go while being safe so I’m going to order a bigger jet kit I’m gonna give it more fuel before I give it less temps remain really good still so I’m safe there
Seems like a carb tuning issue from what I hear in the video, of course the problem may well lie elsewhere, but check all the basics forst for binding anywhere in the drivetrain, check compression, engine bearings, no vacuum/air leaks etc. If all that is fine an air/fuel mix error = tuning issue is more or less the only remaining thing. Good luck mate, you will get there!
Stiffer clutch springs, told you several videos ago. Did you put the piston in right way? Arrow pointing to pipe? Are you using same CDI before you rebuilt motor? You will be fine bro this is some dumb BS don't worry
Arrows towards exhaust yes, same CDI yes it it did do this same behavior stock but not as slow, I hope so now that stupid ass “high performance” plug wire snapped inside so I gotta get a normal one to even start this back up but I hope so I’ll look into a CDI
It’s really heavy on oil rn too with that 32:1 ratio WITH an extra cap, it spits leftover oil out the stinger but it does start right up and used great but it just won’t pull past 10 lol I’m really thinking CDI is to blame here
@@truballa4lyf69 I did, it was but pretty sure it’s the CDI I’m gonna get an aftermarket derestricted one I’m leaking leftover oil out my stinger too that 32:1 plus an extra oil cap is a bit much
I’ll build this entire damn bike to get this thing correct idc lol but it’s alright I really think it’s a CDI issue the gears didn’t have any metal chunks in the oil, the CVT looked great there’s a new belt even and it jerks around when I start to give it throttle like it’s fighting itself like a traction control fighting to kick in back and forth on a car
Yeah a lot of people think the same thing it jerks around a whole lot when giving it throttle like it’s fighting itself to pull kinda like how traction control will jerk around when being pushed in a high performance car, no metal in the gear oil when I changed it and the CVT looks great it even had a new belt
This is an old video I jetted the carburetor correctly after this, this was the very first start up of a brand new motor of course it’s not gonna run correctly immediately
Nice scooter, the same in MX were powered by a 100 cc 2 stroke
Nice!! Love the kick starter!!!!!
Good job, keep it up. I like your watch there David. 😍

First thing I thought too! Nothing but 93
I agree with this too.
What’s your squish clearance?
Nice. Been waiting on this ..like it’s my scout lol
Hey David! New follower - really enjoy your videos man! I got the same scooter and was wondering where I can brakes for both front and rear?

And thanks for that man, I’ll check it out.
@@israelcarteno7229 today, shoot I’m up at 9am to get this thang started here we go 🙏
what kind of bigcarb manifold is that?
Carb manifold? It’s all Polini intake
Polini 360 intake
Polini carbon fiber reeds
Polini 90° 48mm pod filter/with splash guard
Polini CP 21mm carburetor

Put the stock pipe back on and see if it changes. #1 rule in building is don't change today things at 1 time.

Yeah try CDI
I’m pretty sure it’s the throttle cable when you screw that in to the carburetor it’s very important that it is set right
Como cojer el tiempo a una ventó 49cc
no entiendo tu pregunta que pasa hermano?
It powered on that is important

You have to tune the carburetor to send more gas
Check your magneto
Try a cdi !
