52/24/24 Kno3/aluminum (atomized 30 micron) /S sulfur and Kno3 must be a fine powder. Smaller mesh aluminum may work but don’t go too fine or you’ll end up with a stick of flash powder
Hey on my comp I followed the weights but did yours ever just bubble when trying to light with a torch? I’m guessing it needs a sparkler to start kinda like thermite. Anyway I was just curious if you’re just makes white bubbles and sizzles instead of starting.
KAYLEB_HD nope. All Aluminum. 52% Kno3. 24% 30 mesh aluminum flake . 24% sulfur. Oxidizer and sulfur must be fine. Mix the powders dry then press the dry mix into thin paper tubes rolled from printing paper. Needs a hot prime to ignite the mix. Some BP slurry will do just fine
a rocket-engine and a parachute attached to this item and you definitely got something that will attract people´s attention ...nice one OWL :) ....like +1
Had to look back at my book of compositions. 52/24/24 Kno3/aluminum (30 micron atomized )/S. Sulfur and Kno3 must be fine dust. It’s just screen mixed then compressed in a thin tube made from a sheet of printer paper wrapped in a little masking tape. Press the powder firmly into the tube with the dowel you rolled the tube with adding a few drops of acetone will eliminate dust while pressing also helps it pack better once the solvent flashes off (it isn’t necessary but I prefer it). You can make the tube any size. Different diameter tubes have different burn rates. This one was 3/8” if I remember correctly
@@PyroThunder nice man thank you I really like that white flare you made I make the red and green ones but my green one isn’t slow and actually makes thrust. I posted a video of my red and green ones. That white one you made was very slow and I like that.
It's Friday eve, I know BUT we have FIREWORKS! 😆🎆🎇🚀💣 #BBQqqqqqqqq 🍖🍖🍖
So, share the info dude!

Nope. Burns nice and smooth without any sludgy by product it can be started by hot burning BP
@@PyroThunder ok thanks I’ll try it with hot BP.
Nice this using MgAl?

Do you mean 30 micron, because 30 mesh is pretty course
PyRoOWL 1995 do you have a comp for a white star with 325mesh MgAl I don’t have a good supplier yet of aluminium powder hard to get her e in aus
Just experiment by replacing it for al in ur comps, if too fast slow it down a little
Praetzel Projects yes it’s 30 micron. I didn’t notice I said MESH. DO’H!!!

Chris E junior not seen you around in a long time!
@@PyroThunder yes i know , and im sorry for that , but still busy with my studies :(
Composition
Hey so on these I saw the comp formula in a comment but would it work if it’s just al powder not flake?
30 micron atomized. Sulfur and kno3 are ground to dust
