I was in Malaysia a few months ago and used Apple Pay on my watch, some cashiers thought I was a scammer, lol. If I paid for something over 250 MYR I still had to enter my PIN though, which is not the case in other countries. Is this still the case or has this been changed?
For transaction over RM250, the PIN is needed for added security for debit card related transaction and this is a feature set by the banks in Malaysia. Regardless of the method you pay with.

Hey Darren, you can authenticate either through Face ID, Touch ID or passcode, depending on your phone.
