    This is where anti oppressive social work models and anti racist social work models such as those by Lena Dominelli and Bob Mullally really come into their own for counselling. As critical social workers this is our bread and butter for each client

    It bothers me that being a woman does not seem to be seen as being in a particularly marginalized group, especially if you're a white woman. We need to remember that women are the oldest, most pervasively marginalized group. The history of that marginalization is carried by every one of us, Black, White, Indigenous, Latina, Asian, gay, straight, bi...

      BS... when women get drafted and killed in wars like men, or do half the dangerous, dirty, backbreaking work in society, or lose their kids and house in divorces... ill take you serious. until then, women are valued much much more than men in society. fact.
