Atreus: why don't you stop thinking like a father for once and start thinking like a general?! young kratos: NO... I fought many wars in my past... I refuse to let you fight and potentially die in your own war... please understand that as your father i need to be able to protect you no matter the cost
Is something that a young father would say. But an older an wiser father would simply said, "NO...... no". Younger justify it, and the older talks like an authority. Very well done your argument.
I love the internal dialogue old and young Kratos have, sometimes his facial expressions make it look like he’s ACTUALLY thinking that in the moment. Kratos definitely has a Dr Banner/Hulk thing going on, he needs to keep the lid on his can of whoop-ass until the right moment!
I still cant beleive they never brought the original VA back for the flashbacks The Valhalla DLC felt kinda insulting, with Kratos talking to a mute version of his younger self......it couldve been sooooo much better
@@rdowg what more do you want they’ve given us a great dlc for free and your still asking for more it’s free so stop complaining it’d be fine if it was 20 pound dlc like every ck game
@MRBaLiStiK "what more do you want?" I just said, I just wanted the old VA to speak at SOME POINT in the new games. Shit, even in GoW4 they didnt use the old voice for the kratos vs zeus rehash in helheim Im asking for 2-4 lines of dialogue, which isnt much.
@@rdowg your right though hearing TC Carson’s voice would be badass I’m not even a og god of fan i just thought you were complaining and nick picking like the other guys
I only ever understood how Kratos' worry here was after finding out that was Atreus. My first reaction to that was just "wow, that was him?" Now I'm like "oh shit, Kratos was ready to keel him".
a problem i keep having is with atreus's name, i get it mixed up with the name of a character in a game called stick war saga and that character is atreyos and i keep getting confused 😭
Not necessarily stronger, just more aggressive. This iteration seems to have the two as separate personalities, so I guess here they are meant to be on the same level. Regardless, I like it for what it is.
@jamesThebulbmin The developers confirmed that during GOW 4 - 5 is where Kratos is the strongest he's ever been. Young Kratos is more aggressive, has more powerful weapons and abilities while Old Kratos is superior in every physical category, more experienced, wiser, and more intelligent. Now of course.. if they did fight, it's not a one sided fight like what the commenter above is saying, it'll be tough and would last ages before Old Kratos eventually wins via. statements and scaling.

So basically young kratos in this scenario is like a split personality that current kratos has to hold back?
it looks that way, yes
yeah in other words it's a Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde situation except Mr Hyde is good
Yeah he does everything in his power to avoid becoming the Monster he once was
Either that, ooooorrrrr kratos is just casually shedding and regrowing his beard super fast
Just like Bruce and the Hulk
I thought it’ll bring the GOW 3 theme instead of the second one,the third GOW theme is so demonically good.
They brought back the gow 3 theme though. Are we speaking about valhalla?

He’s like the hulk trying so hard to not let’s other half take over i love his transformation back and forth but his voice doesn’t change
They shouldve made him younger in the flashbacks

You should make an entire game episode where it’s like this
Like how him and his young self go back-and-forth in his mind
😊 stay tuned

First! And also good video!!! I like it!!

Young Kratos would´ve warned Freya ONCE after that she´d suffer the same fate every god ( Not Aphrodite ) that crossed Kratos´ path.
WE WANT PART 2
Fenrir cannot die again if he’s ever revived or he’ll be denied an afterlife
Can’t wait to see more

why does this man think young kratos is stronger than old kratos
hes not, young kratos would get clapped in less than 1 second by old kratos

@@akailuniversalgames8132I agree. Honestly works well with Kratos here.
Not really old kratos just holds back young kratos doesn't

The thing that ended hurting kratos. SBI (sweet baby inc.)
Were they involved with this game? It didn’t seem woke.
He was did i done something wrong?
That's actually fucking cool in concept cause he's constantly trying to fight against his old self
