That part of Canyonlands is very fragile and at risk of over visitation. You need a permit to camp there and remember flying drones is strictly prohibited . Please treat Canyonlands with respect and not fodder for b-roll
So we camped right outside of the park. We talked to a ranger and told us where to go. I don’t think that area is at risk of over visitation due to how long it takes to just get out there and then the warning signs of needing a proper vehicle to go down. But I also think over visitation is why all of the national parks have made it so you need a permit to film at all in them. They are getting packed and don’t have the infrastructure to support it. And then all of the drone shots were shot outside of Canyonlands
