I'm not sure about that color, but these battery electric loco's are going to be a game changer for railroads. Their ability to regnerate their batteries via dynamic braking will result in large fuel savings and lower operating costs.
That's easier said than done! We don't know how reliable that is yet. What works in an electric car does not work in a locomotive. The batteries don't last very long on locomotives for the simple fact the locomotive itself is 412,000 lbs + whatever it pulls. That principle alone requires a lot of energy, which the batteries just cannot sustain. Hopefully they are not all in with this unproven electrical Motive Power idea or else our economy is in trouble! Trains have to be extremely reliable . This technology just hasn't proven anything yet! Joe Biden's electrification is going to ruin Society!

This is totally awesome right there 😊
I hope to see RHB 2001 be tested with GECX 3000 soon!
The 3000 is obsolete now. If anything it may be rebuilt again.

Hydrogen locomotives are far more practical.

Very beautiful livery!
How much miles in the theory can one charge of batteries be enough?
It is estimated that it can operate up to an hour and a half by itself. So depending on load it could operate about 50 miles or less.
