- I've been visiting the Kempton Toy Fair for years. It's traditionally been a car and train fair, but it's changing for the good.

Kempton toy fair has definitely improved of late and this was a good visit. I've left empty handed many times previously 😎 And yes, always great to see MASK, seems to be plentiful here in the UK 👍

Ooohh! You lucky Devil! Goose from Galaxy Rangers! I absolutely loved this line as a kid! Played with them for hours alongside Bravestarr! I'm sure I saw Leicester Vintage Toys had some carded! Glad you had a great time at Kempton Dave!
Ha ha I was thinking about you when I spotted Goose 😎 Yeah, Leicester had them carded but they were pricey!! I've been watching some of the episode on YT, awesome 80s theme tune, can't beat some Sci Fi Western 🤘 Cheers Shabby! 👍

Gosh Dave, for a smaller fair there was tons on offer by the looks of it! Love seeing obscure stuff we never see here in Australia, like the carded Blurp Ball from ERTL. Lots of cool 90s wrestling stuff by the looks of it too. Thanks for bringing us along Dave!

It’s always so welcoming seeing Galaxy Rangers being available especially Shane Gooseman!! I saw quite few bits that I would of loved to of picked up as you rummaged and filmed. Always wanted a Tiger Force “Snow Cat” so lovely to see a boxed one. Love your approach to collecting and enthusiasm!!
Thanks Rudy! 🤘 This was the first loose complete Ranger I've ever come across in the wild. Never thought one would now be in the collection 👍 LOL I had to rewatch the video as I never spotted the tiger force snow cat on the day. Hopefully we can meet up at a toy fair one day.

I’ve actually never seen the advanced dungeons and dragons figures, but they definitely look like your cuppa tea Dave, that pesky Darby Collector costing us money again lol.
And I loosely remember galaxy rangers, that quick draw feature is awesome!!!

As soon as I saw the double VHS, I immediately knew where it was going 🤣 Saw on your video yesterday you were starting on Sectaurs. I don't see the figures all that often at fairs but there were quite a few of them on Duncan's stall. Might be worth messaging him 👍 The spider hand puppet freaks me out so I've stuck to the figures and can just about stomach the small spider creature LOL And yeah, Darby Collector costing us money although he says it's revenge for getting him into Visionaries 🤣 Really pleased with the Galaxy Ranger - never thought I'd ever see one loose 🤘 Cheers Luke!! Ah Scuba, AD&D is a recent obsession 🤣 Having a fantasy phase at the moment - need some more creatures etc in the collection 😎 Pete, we gotta do some toy fairs together!! Either in the UK or US - we've got to do Kane County one day !!!!
Nice tour, thanks for showing it. The Advanced Dungeons & Dragons figures line is cool, I agree. Those look in great shape, nice going! As a kid back then, I only got Warduke, and then recently bought the new NECA version with more advanced details. Great animated series of the 1980s. The MASK video set looks unique, nice find. Galaxy Ranger was a good show too. Nice figure.
Cheers!! 🤘 Hadn't realised NECA released D&D figures, they sound great - will look those up 👍 Are you considering any of the Hasbro D&D figures based on the cartoon. Used to love that show. These days, I'm on the lookout for stuff I haven't seen before, so very pleased with the MASK VHS set and Ranger 😎

Yes, the Hasbro D&D Animated Series Figures look excellent and I have all of the collected so far including Venger and Dungeon Master as a huge fan of the animated 1980s series, as I can see you are too. Later this year Eric, Presto, Sheila will arrive. I like window packaging, so I have been trimming out the picture and putting a clear plastic window there, then securing the figure inside with a wire aroudn their waist. Then sealing it back since Hasbro has stopped including clear display windows for these. The figures are delicate, so I'm keeping them in their packaging as a big fan of the artwork too. They're definitely worth it for any fan of the series. Thanks, Dave! Your vintage collection so far looks great.

Awesome stuff Dave! I bet that Galaxy Ranger set you back a few pennies! I recently sold the 3 Rangers loose in fair condition with no accessories on ebay, a guy from Japan bought them for £110 all in, instantly covering the cost for the lot they came in! (I did actually upload an unboxing video of the lot i purchased) made me a nice chunk of money and got to keep a selection of figures too. 😊👍
I thought it was a decent price considering it was complete with the badge as well, and managed to get a little discount too. You did well to sell your 3 and cover the price of the lot, that's always a great way to collect 👍
Finally catching up on your last two vids Dave! ☺Get so jealous of US and UK toy shows. There is so much more vintage goodness at yours. You seem to look at all the lines I like too Dave, Sectaurs, Rambo, Chuck Norris 🤭 That Galaxy Ranger Im not familiar with. So that was cool 😎 And TSR Dungeons and Dragons too?? Yes!!! Ive got some and recently picked up a couple more. Still trying to get the Troll and Goblin set, that I had as a kid 🤔 Great hunt video mate 👍
LOL I get jealous of those US shows!! Would love to visit Kane County in Chicago one day!! I love to find and show some of the more obscure items at these shows, as everyone sees He-man, Transformers every day 😎 The Galaxy Rangers were only ever released in the UK and across Europe although they're still really hard to find even here!!! I'm always on the lookout for the Galaxy Ranger robotic horses, as they are the most difficult to find.
And in case you didn't know, Marvel UK also published an Adventures Of The Galaxy Rangers comic book, back in 1988.

Do you know if most of the sellers take Card payments, or is it all still cash?
If cash, do you know if there is a cash machine on site?

Cash is still king but many will take PayPal rather than cards. I don't remember there being a cash machine, but then again I wouldn't trust my memory. Best to take cash with you 👍
@1:29 I had that figure of Gooseman from the Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers and i have been on the lookout and hunt for another, in fact the set of 3 since for some reason they did not do Niko however i did here there were test shot prototypes done and a mold was made but never produced which i hate anyways im looking to get back a bit of my childhood if possible so does anyone know where i could find the set of 3 Galaxy Rangers complete, loose cause i can not afford carded sadly? Im also trying to find a pair from Bravestarr, obviously Bravestarr shown right after Goose in the video, and Tex Hex again complete and loose again due to budget. I have a collection that i am willing to trade or sell or any combination if anyone is interested please let me know! I love the videos on the restoration tips and how to fix vintage items so thank you so much for those and please keep up the great videos there always good and a big help at times so thank you!
Hi Adam, thanks for your kind words on the restoration videos. The Galaxy Rangers figures are not so easy to find, especially complete. I would spread the net wide - follow the vintage toy shops e.g. Leicester Vintage, The Vintage Toy Monster... also use Instagram and FB to find independent toy sellers and sales groups. Bravestarr should be much easier to find! What sort of items do you have in your collection? Good luck in your search for recovering some of your childhood 👍
