This was very helpful Kurt, thanks! Is this the same process you'd use for a style that uses light washes? Like say if the washes are there to soften the blacks but aren't necessarily doing all the rendering of form? Or would you color that with your more traditional method?
OMG, you can drag your mouse over the layer visibility icon to toggle multiple at once?!?!?!?!?! bro i been individually clicking them mfs for over a year now. also great vid, super helpful and amazing art :)

Also I'm not at a keyboard right now but either Ctrl or alt and clicking the visibility icon will toggle the rest of them off and on.
