My husband works in the railroad field so he’s still going to work he helps supply the trains and freights with needed parts so that the needed supplies can be delivered where they are needed! He IS needed! These business’s aren’t often recognized but they are a huge part of the supply and demand chain, his job IS so important! Great job with this series! I’ve been following along. Thanks for sharing Sophia! 🤗💐💜(our 22 year old son living out of state is still going to work as well he works 2 jobs in the food industry which are still in service) I’m thanking God that they both have jobs and are still employed!
God bless you and your family. My hubby works in medical supply manufacturing in the electromechanical field. They do not and can not shut down and have to show up for work. They have a special pass to get to and from work. We need stores and gas stations open so we can all buy food, meds, gas our cars. These are the unsung heroes out there keeping things going as much as anyone who still has to go to work everyday facing possible exposure. We thank God for them all. They don't boast about dawning a cape or having super powers, they don't spread fear or panic, they just get up everyday and show up for work, we all just know that without them, we'd all be screwed a lot more than we are now. In a couple of weeks, things are going to look a lot different than they do now...until then...God bless you all and keep you and your families safe.
Sophia, you might be the only youtuber who has an intro designed by an Emmy Award winning artist! And bless you for making masks for you team! Stay safe!
Wow, the introduction!! Your husband is SUPER TALENTED. I can see why he won an Emmy. The character looks just like you & with your way of looking, your mannerisms, I am very impressed. Thank you for these videos Sophia.
You look especially pretty. The third floor stairs have such memories...removing the carpet, pulling all the tacks, sanding, replacing a board when you fell, stripping, sanding again, staining, polyurethane application, painting the walls way up there, replacing the light fixture, sewing curtains, hanging the large metal art. The area still looks fresh and new.
Sophia, I was watching a video from a man who deals in selling all kinds of masks (when they were available) and he said to take apart and use the white filtering part of the 3M filters we use for heating and air furnaces. There are different counts on them and the 1900 count one filters out viruses. He said to cut them up and staple elastic on each end and you can also use medical tape to seal around it on your face so there's no gap. 😊💐🙏
I have learned that “later” is not a time but a concept. I’ve learned to say to myself, “I’m placing this item (that needs to go upstairs) on this step so that the next time I go upstairs, I can take it with me.” Also, if it can be done in 1 minute or less, just do it! Thank you for the video!
A woman job is never done. I love your vlogs because is realistic and not puff up with the latest crap. You are down to earth and in touch with reality. But, then I would not expect anything else from you because everyday your profession shows you life’s suffering and you realize the latest makeup, outfit or furnishings is not as important then being thankful for what you have. Just clearing and cleaning the steps made your home fresh and pretty. You did not have to leave the house or go more in debt to get gratification. You are blessed with a home and a family and everyone is well, priceless. Your introduction is awesome 👏🏼 Be safe and God bless us all and yes this to will pass. ✨
Great video, refreshing to see normalcy on a channel...cleaning how much more normal can you get, right? How can 11 people not appreciate this video? I have no clue. I have my grand kids during the day... doing online distance learning . Back in the homeschool groove for me! Also, sent 10 masks home with my daughter to drop off at my youngest daughters house on the way home... she is an ER nurse. We’re in Texas and just today our county says (starting tomorrow) we are to shelter in place. I cut out 15 more masks while watching your video! Thanks Sophia for your refreshing video! Be safe!
So glad to see another one of your videos. You bring normalcy to my life at the moment with not working due to the virus three adult children living at home etc🤦♀️💖
Hi Sophia, thank you! Just a suggestion, maybe you could hang your little French frames above the light switch next to bookshelves in your office! That way you would get the joy of seeing them when you turn your switch off or on😀
You look absolutely stunning. I love the stripes on you! My resort finally closed down, after a week of at least a thousand golfers a day on the four courses. Florida has closed bars, most beaches are closed (maybe all I’m not so up to date) restaurants are takeout only (but we don’t dare try it) and gyms are closed. My county has 45 known cases and the one right next door has over 90. My sister still has to go to work (she works in government recreation) despite her expressed concern to supervisors. They’re conducting business as usual... absolutely nuts if you ask me. Stay safe Sophia, praying for you everyday!
Hi from NZ we are locking down for upwards of a months self isolation. I work in health as a nurse our country has moved fast and decisively we currently to put very strong controls on movement, as of today have 200 cases in the whole country. We are extremely lucky to have strong national government I'm hopeful that as a nation we get this right as a world we are only going to get one good chance to get on top of this and burn this out. Take care and please keep posting your a bright spot in a lot of people's day.
I had to start making myself put stuff away in the pantry/storage room. I was bad to just sit bags in there and not put it where it belonged. It got easier after awhile. Seems good to walk through and look out the window to watch the wildlife. Love your videos. Your channel is the only one that inspires me to get things done. Thank you so much. Take care.
Hey my friend! I didn't know you were in healthcare! I'm a Registered Nurse myself, and appreciate what you are saying. The people like us at the front lines really need to have the PPE that is needed to take care of patients with this virus for sure. Asking Nurses to re-use the masks is terrible! This problem needs to be addressed! Good job on the cleaning! Wow that little decanter is so cute! TFS! Many Blessings!🐇🏡🌼🌻🌴🌞💕💎
Wow 🤩!! I really like your new intro, very eye catching and colorful. 👍 👍 thank you for encouraging all your followers to follow direction and to stay healthy. Hope your mama is doing well back home. Prayers of healing for the nation, family and friends who are going through the virus. Creator God we look to You for Wisdom,Strength & Healing for the world 🌎 Amen 🙏
Lol about the perfume decanter/ funnel. I could've used one last year when decluttering my perfumes. Some perfumes I liked the scent of, but not for wearing on my body, so I decided to decant them and use them as home perfume (with some bamboo skewers to help distribute the scent). That way I was still able to enjoy the scents and they got used. It was a whole lot of trouble to get the perfume out of the flasks though, so a funnel could've come in use (although knowing me I would've probably forgotten I had one if I did). Keep up the good work and best wishes in this time of uncertainty ❤️
I love the entry!!! Yeah Scott! 😘 Congratulations Sophia that stairway was a task. I have a pile and when I go to clear it, I know I'm going to be there for awhile. It's not always easy. I never dreamed I would have issues with clearing clutter.....
I'm glad you and your family are fine. There are about 400 patients in Croatia so far. Almost everything is closed except shops and emergency services. Sunday was a particularly difficult day. Early in the morning we were awakened by a strong earthquake. Our capital is badly damaged. The ground still shakes occasionally
Bonjour Sophia, I was wondering if at some point, if at all possible, you could do a video on sewing the mask? Just a suggestion...Sending you much love from Italy, to you and all of your family...stay safe every body, take care, and please, for your own safety be careful and stay home as much as possible, for your own health and to help all of those that are working for all the rest and are potentially exposed. blessings to all

Hello today is Tuesday 24 March 2020. Take care . Be careful . Take care of your love ones and family in France . I am in lock down in youngstown , Ohio . Love that you work and taking time to keep me doing stuff ... Thank you .
In my country all cooked food places that aren't supermarkets are shutting tonight at midnight. So no takeaways. Food bag services are still running as they are uncooked.
I agree, we’ve definitely not seen the worst yet. With no vaccine and no real medication, it’s bad. We need a leader who values humans over profit and does NOT loosen restrictions so soon. A capitalist society where profit is god and the imperfect (elderly, chronically ill etc) are expendable is absolutely not what our ancestors strove fought and died for. Love the little touch of lavender eyeshadow Scott gave you. 💕🦢
Yes, it is getting serious. Olympics postponed. Graduations canceled. We are on a wild ride for sure. But this will pass, and we will be better for it, stronger. Great job on the stairs. I’d be in the same spot, but hubby forbids anything on stairs. Hugs. You are in my prayers.
Sophia, if you have anything like Wonder Under or shirt stabilizer that is what they are using now for the masks. Use two pieces, one on each inside of the fabric.
It´s a difficult time for the whole world - really! There are only a few countries left. I´m in concern for all the poor countries, they are not prepared and no one could help them now - everyone is concerned with himself. I hope in the end this all will go by and we are able to learn from it! Love your hair in this video! Greetings from Germany ♥ Stay safe!
I think every body is going thru this problem, but we have to clean it up. Your still working hard. I have to clean my bathroom floor like this. The mop just doesn’t cut it. Every time I open a drawer , I find things that don’t belong there.
People are arrogant. They don’t abide by the rules. Piss me off. The president is dreaming , he’s giving people false hope. I’m proud of Cuomo. He’s got big problems w this. People disrespect him. Today is my 13 day of being in.
I, too, am making masks for my family, and my daughter's MIL who works in Ohio preparedness office. They need masks bc they gave theirs up to the medical field in their area. I also need one and my husband who is listed as essential worker in our area needs masks as well. So even though I am retired, I am very busy sewing masks so my quilting got put on hold. That's ok I'll keep making them and check to see if hospitals in our area need them. I want to help our much needed medical personnel!
I had a lot of my DOC slips of paper on cleaning and organizing my kitchen. With what’s going on in the world I’ve decided to concentrate on my kitchen as I think the kitchen is very important to keep very clean and disinfected right now. I don’t think I’ve cleaned this much or this thoroughly as I have in years.....lol! When things get back to “normal” I will continue on with the other household DOCs. I use to tell my friends and family that I have abs of steel.......they were just well hidden under all the fat.🤣
I am working too Sophia. I am in the mental health field too. We are doing telephone therapy and not allowing anyone in the offices except the employees and we have to have our temperatures taken. Stay safe Sophia. This is a real big problem for all of us.
We re still doing face to face with our most vulnerable folks. Taking their temps before we come in. Telehealth and phone calls with the higher functioning ones. Transportation to and from lab still happening. The toughest ones are the crisis with psych er. They take forever to process them and clear them medically before transfer to psych er. Triage is a hot zone anywhere you go. Our nurse finally got PPE today and we were given one n95 each on friday. It s like gold!
@@mygreatchallenge lord Sophia u just got the PPE! I thought it was bad where I work. Please be careful I do not want to go one week without seeing your beautiful face and all your great projects! U r an inspiration!!!
If you contact Joanne Fabrics, they are supplying the precut fabric and elastic you just sew it and return it to them & they are sending it to hospitals or who is in need.

BIG THANKYOU SOPHIA to you, your teammates and all the rest of them. What about the painters type of masks? Can those also be used? Sending prayers hugs and love to y’all. 👍🏻👍🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💜🤗❤️👵🏼🎶🎶
Kudos to those keeping our grocery stores running. They may not be first responders but they are heroes
Yes they are and I am so appreciative!
I’m an ICU Nurse; working in our hospital’s COVID-19 unit. Thank you for the emotional support. We need all the help we can get. ❤️
God bless you. I pray you stay safe.
