Elephants are really big and heavy animals and sence they got huff like feet. Like cows, horses and heavy huffed animals. It makes sense that they very suffering from this foot infection. And due to gravity putting much pressure to it. And being in such a hard and dry environment. If seems to be really bad for their feets I'm a janitor and I walk alot during that time, you get tired even if you are not as big as an Elephant lol. I just can't imagine being an elephant living in captivity
You hear that "Evolution has made elephants big and heavy", yea those protein transcription errors that scramble nucleotide sequence and often strip nucleotides, those mutations are so good at constructing hyper complex nucleotide sequences that can form into novel genes that can perform complex functions through complex mechanisms. Yea, totally.
Exercise tip for elephants: Dog racing track, but with a giant peanut, instead of the rabbit. Not only would the elephants get exercise and entertainment from it, plus a giant peanut at the end, but it would entertain anyone who saw it. Realistically, perhaps a bag of peanuts, instead of a single, giant one. The issue with animals in captivity is complex, and too many have a simplistic view of it. The most annoying thing is when life in the wild is portrayed as idyllic and harmonious; anyone believing so should be dropped naked into the wilderness. However, exaggerations of all sorts are wrong. There are all sorts of conditions, both in captivity and in the wild, and benefits and harms from both, even for animals. The big indicator is longevity. When animals live shorter in captivity, that's a very strong indication that something is wrong. Either the conditions must be changed drastically, or captivity must be ended. For animals with huge ranges, providing adequate conditions can be economically impossible. It's not as simple as that, though; some animals, especially predators, have evolved to minimize their activity. While hyenas require large areas, even in captivity, they don't require anything close to what they have in the wild, because, when food is plentiful, they instinctively reduce their activity. As a result, many predators live long and healthy lives in captivity, even within pragmatically achievable economic limits. Of course, I'm not talking about cages, here, but enclosures of several acres, at least, and, even then, I'm not talking about elephants.
"Hope you're not having a snack"- of course I was. That always happens when someone says something like that in a video. I had just opened a can of beer to wash down my dinner with.
Unbelieveable to what lengths humans can go just to keep an animal in captivity- 8 months Treadmill training for Polarbears... How about to leave them be free in nature as it should be, thats crazy or am i going crazy?! I hope the day will soon come where nobody will visit a Zoo anymore and people will look back disgust about what we once did to those poor creatures.
Hey, uh... as an Alaskan. i feel obliged to let you know, sweet old Maggie the painting elephant was rehomed a good number of years ago, due to inability to keep her happy and healthy. (for obvious climate issues)
change out the flooring with different mediums every five weeks or so, clay, then pumice, then gravel, then sand, then woodchips, and the zoos can sell off the used elephant floor-mediums to organics-plants after each use to offset costs; let their feet get pmmiced sanded and soothed.
Animals should never be locked up for the purpose of entertainment for humans. Every single thing that humans put their noses in that has to do with wild animals, ends up being detrimental for the animals.

What caught my attention was the language how there different well it because they brought parrot from Dominican Rep to raised the population. Thes hurracans do damage to there nest hallow tree wich fall durin wind. Smart lil bastard
As someone who has kept and bred parrots in captivity for over 20 years I don't know what to tell you other than people who mistreat animals should be buried up to their necks and a lawnmower started... as far as my sweet feathered housemates I love them and do everything I can to keep them happy and healthy and if that's not good enough then IDK kick rocks...
You would think captivity facilities would have a much larger space. Or have multiple levels of captivity for the animals. This is more possible with animals that aren't heavy or require water to inhavit.
This is why putting animals behind artificial walls and enclosures is a stupid idea and always has been. Unless an animal truly needs to be rescued they should be left to their own devices in their own environment. Its why I hate people who have pet birds, a creature capable of flight does not belong in someones house or apartment its ludicrous.
During my childhood, i had many pets, but my father never allowed me to have any kind of bird for the same reason you mentioned. Greetings from Croatia.

It makes sense that they very suffering from this foot infection. And due to gravity putting much pressure to it. And being in such a hard and dry environment. If seems to be really bad for their feets
I'm a janitor and I walk alot during that time, you get tired even if you are not as big as an Elephant lol.
Yea, totally.
just wondering if u could tell us more about hyenas.
Wait, if 50% of elephants die because of this, does this mean they were met with....defeet?
Thank you king👑
8:40 wow that's malayalam
Fan from kerala India 😂😎
I literally be waiting on your videos...thank you
Exercise tip for elephants: Dog racing track, but with a giant peanut, instead of the rabbit.
I love every video you guys put out
8:20 Now I understand how human race adapted and had different language barriers, because of isolation from the main body of society or civilization.
"Hope you're not having a snack"- of course I was. That always happens when someone says something like that in a video. I had just opened a can of beer to wash down my dinner with.
elephant sanctuaries have open ground with grass and dirt. maybe zoo should apply that too on the elephant enclosure
9:22 orangutan beatbox 😂😂
Straight fire 🔥🔥🔥
Beautiful creatures
I always salivate at that coffee gulp 😭
Bro I was watching all this and eating some cereal. Bro said “I feel bad if you’re having a snack rn” I laughed.
7:38 , those kids look so disappointed it's kind of funny
I'm the 4th yes
Thanks guy who gave me thumbs up
Can y'all do one about Black panthers or Racoons those predators are really smart with lighting speed🐆🐆.
Captivity is fundamental to preserving endangered species.
Animals should never be locked up for the purpose of entertainment for humans. Every single thing that humans put their noses in that has to do with wild animals, ends up being detrimental for the animals.
Those Parrot you was talking well im from PR near El Yunue National Rain Forest and i see them all the time here and they made a huge comback. What caught my attention was the language how there different well it because they brought parrot from Dominican Rep to raised the population. Thes hurracans do damage to there nest hallow tree wich fall durin wind. Smart lil bastard
Animals should be free. We should learn about them in their natural environment.
Title should be "50% of Elephants Die Because of this in Captivity".
NOT THE MINECRAFT "OOF"
You would think captivity facilities would have a much larger space. Or have multiple levels of captivity for the animals. This is more possible with animals that aren't heavy or require water to inhavit.
Weird It's almost like when all your needs are met you got spare time which opens up resources to get creative... and learn new things.
can you make a video about mealworms?
This is why putting animals behind artificial walls and enclosures is a stupid idea and always has been. Unless an animal truly needs to be rescued they should be left to their own devices in their own environment. Its why I hate people who have pet birds, a creature capable of flight does not belong in someones house or apartment its ludicrous.
During my childhood, i had many pets, but my father never allowed me to have any kind of bird for the same reason you mentioned.
Greetings from Croatia.
@@ALPHONSO_NANOOK : Your father was a wise man, thanks for sharing.
