There's several ways of doing this. The way I do it is through the throttle app JMRI. JMRI allows me to run my trains via my phone. It also allows me to easily consist and control multiple locomotives at the same time. It's very simple once you figure it out!
Great looking layout you forgot one thing put a caboose on the end of the train it just don't seem rite without one bringing up the rear
Modern trains do not use cabooses!
