Did you check the button reading in joy.cpl?
Sorry for the late reply, I ordered one for myself (and used the single black adapter) to test and it got detected as a PS3 Controller on joy.cpl. I used DsHidMini (with HID device mode: DS4Windows) + DS4Windows app and it worked like an Xbox controller.

I have the black singular USB connector and it works perfectly with my type H controller. The silver duleshock 2 one.
But my Logitech cordless action controller won't sync with the dongle when I use the USB connector...
Someone online said it works with their laptop computer, but not their PC... So, then I tried my laptop and 2 other computers and it still won't sync with the dongle... Rats!
And yes. I plugged it back into the PS2 to see if I fried the dongle or something and it connected immediately 😅😅😅
I guess it's because the 3 volt connection isn't exactly 3 or something? I know USB is usually 5v but I guess the USB adapter doesn't drop the voltage down enough... Even though it blinks normally and the controller blinks when i try to sync, so it is sending signals from the dongle but just not syncing up... I don't know. I tried USB hubs, different USB ports... Nothing.
