A decadência do Rio teve início com a transferência da capital federal. De lá para cá gradativamente a cidade foi perdendo sua proeminência e qualidade de vida. Triste.
@@marcoscavalcanterodrigues8754Nada a ver. Isso acontece por causa do abandono de governadores e prefeitos irresponsáveis durante várias décadas. E o Rio já tinha muitos problemas muito tempo antes de ter a capital mudada.
@@Meno_Maluco Tem tudo a ver prezado. Não estou falando de problemas anteriores à transferência da capital federal para a Ilha da F toda cidade tem seus problemas. O que está em questão é a graduate irreversível decadência do Rio após a mudança do DF para o ermo do Centro Oeste.

@@HistoryinColor I've Recently Learn A Bit About This Brazilian President Getuilo Vargas He Came To Power In Brazil In A Military Coup In 1930 And Had Close Ties With Nazi Germany And Benito Mussolini's Italy And Also Had Close Ties With The United States At The Time But He's Been In Power For Quite A Long Time From 1930-1954 And I've Read That He Committed Suicide.
It is curious to watch live images (videos) of Getúlio Vargas at the Palácio do Catete.
Getúlio Vargas was an important brazilian president, and he committed suicide at the Palácio do Catete.
It is also interesting to note that Guanabara Bay was still quite clean at that time.

Rio de Janeiro is one of the hottest cities in Brazil, and it wasn't so different back in 1938. Historical letters and documents from 1780 already marked 35º C (95º F).
