Jack, I cannot express how much I love what you are doing on here. You are not just going out badgering people with Socionics and telling them they are wrong and leaving it at that (also not saying anyone I am aware of is doing this, just speaking generally), but you are conversing with everyone to see where they are at in their thoughts and then helping to come to an understanding and clarifying. I really love this method of communicating and teaching/discussing. So thank you!
And Michael is right, your accent is very delightful haha.

I greatly appreciate that, Denzel. The more dialogue we foster between our various camps, the better for typology as a whole.

He's not doing that at all. He imposes the type he thinks people are, no matter what, and often against what people are actually saying.

Michael's explanation of his behavioral processes at 32 minutes with regards to challenges and training yourself to be fluid in the face of it is hugely relatable... like exactly what what I do/did. This is interesting bc if we're both typed right (I think we are) then we're duals and his inferior Se works essentially the same as my dominant Se, at least some if the time when this approach is applicable. I would guess that he finds it applicable more often in his life than I do in mine, and I'm more likely to respond to a challenge by going through or over it when possible, both out of a stronger preference for overpowering my opponent and an increased amount of winnable opportunities being available to me with Force in my dominant slot.

And Jacks comment immediately after is also spot on: I do look forward to people trying to rip apart my logic lol.

    • @psicologiazero850

I think you are right, at least he saw his Fi totally exposed. The reason why many Fi valuers like the idea of Beta is exactly what he said: He is willing to sacrifice himself for "the right thing". Fe valuers are willing to sacrifice themselves for the idea, even if the idea is flawed. His blinking though, is similar to what Viktor Gulenko mentions about INTp, so maybe a harmonizing subtype... in that way his good understanding of Ni would fit in, and I get the vibe that he might know how he is able to get along with Se dominants.

Well, after all it takes a truly extraordinary sensibility to grasp that Andy Warhol, Marilyn Monroe, Barak Obama, Princess Diana, Melania Trump, Kate Bush, Rumi, Bob Dylan, Emmanuel Macron, Karl Marx and Gandhi are all IEI, "The Mystic"

Very good explanation of Beta values around 24:30 imo. "I accept your ideology as something to be battled" is definitely a Beta view. Tbh it's kinda way to show respect to the other person, "you are a worthy enemy".

    • @EGHGHI
      @EGHGHI 4 роки тому +5

Strongly disagree with individualism being with the leader part tho. A Beta gravitates to Betas who think like them, and the strongest "warrior" is placed as a "king". Doesn't mean their followers are mindless drones, they *chose* to be there.

So I was thinking of the Quadras while you guys were talking about them and I was wondering your thoughts on this. Each Quadra’s focus is what I’m seeing from what you were saying.
    Alpha: People
    Beta: Religion
    Gamma: Business
    Delta: Environment

I think an INTP or an ENTP created quadras because they put themselves in the Alpha quadra when ENTJs and ESTPs belong in the Alpha quadra. ENTJs are at the top of their game do they are Alphas. ESTPs are jocks and badasses who prove how Alpha they are every day. Sorry but INTPs, ENTPs, ESFJs and ISFJs are far from Alpha material. To put ENTJS into any quadra other than Alpha is a joke. To put ESTPs in an quadra other than Alpha is a joke. You INTPs and ENTPs amuse me for creating this socionic bs because you are not Alpha material. You are Gamma material or Delta material. Putting ENTJs into Gamma not Alpha proves the ludicrousness of socionics.

What? There is no hierarchy of quadra's they are all as 'worthy'.
A quadra just means: "A group of types that all have the same four functions as preferred", with the difference inside of the group being, that they use the functions in another order.
