Question: Is that transfer announcement for 14 Street - Union Square currently in use? It was Charlie for the longest, but once the (W) came back into existence, they could've brought back the original Jessica transfers, but all the trains I rode used a newly spliced Charlie transfer instead.
It depends on which program they use. I think the default woodlawn program has the Charlie pellet transfer. I also noticed that the 4 and 5 versions of the union square transfer are slightly different meaning they recorded it for the 4 and 5 individually which I found wierd. Also some programs announce transfer to the 5 local at 3av 149 while some dont during rush hour. Not sure why theres a difference in the programs.
@@mr7171guy_alt no, they deleted every 4 via wpr program. Even the program to/from flatbush av was erased. Not sure why they would remove the 4 to flatbush when thats an easy/obvious reroute but hey

This is really strange. Nice that it does exist, but why keep this and the program to Dyre Avenue if you delete the one to East 180th Street?..

Wouldn’t 4 via the 2 (especially to Nereid Ave) be 4 via 5? I just don’t understand why it’s via the 2.
Because the 5 is rush hour only and the 2 runs at all times.
