    24 years of being a “exceeds expectations annual evaluations type of employee” and going through it myself.
    it it began soon after I requested a reasonable accommodation due to long time diagnosed mental illness.
    Today she did it twice I broke down in private each time .

    Talking about discrimination.... perhaps you can make a video on this topic, or if there is a video, I somehow missed it. When filling out a job application, do I have to list my disability? Example, I wear hearing aids due to being hard of hearing. It does not effect my job, most people would never know I wear hearing aids unless I tell them. When employers see an application, and the word disability is checked...... how can you tell if you didn't get the job because it's difficult to chose between you and the other 20 people who applied, or because they do not want to hire someone with a disability? I know this is a difficult answer. But what kind of target do I make myself by checking disability? Does that actually work more in my favor to list it or less?

    I'm a disabiled Vetran that has been SILANCED by false aligations about my disabilities which have caused local law enforcement to ignore all the evidance I have that shows the lawyer and family members made up everything said about me and my disabilities as well as the evidance I have in the elderly disabiled 70 yr old family member MEDICIAL RECORDS whom they neglected abussed physically, mentally , and fanincially and caused her death. All 3 rules of evidance are in every document I have to include emails phone messages text , they created and made.Bank records mine and the elderly family members they abuse as well as my medical records .. My case is so unbelievable but so blaten , I just need my voice back my civil right to due process and I will prevail. I'm just one person whom is alone against NUMURUIOS family members whom are police officers lawyers that made great effort to take advantage of my military conection that was over 30 ago and the fact that I have no friends or family members alive that can pose any restance or threat to them. Any suggestions on where I can turn to for help when my local DA's office and law enforcment have been mis lead and will not evan allow me to make a compliant to document the threats and lies that I'm still getting by these people , and will not evan take the evidance I have that supports all this malevolence .please any advice or suggestion. I have done everything the DA's office and sherriffs dept told me to over 10 separate times only to shamelessly and humillatinggly start right back from the begging which is to be told politely that they will contact me in a week or two . almost 3 years ago PLEASE anything .
    Where can I get a lawyer who will represent me that will hold a lawyer and his clients that have made over 20 false alligations about me to my local sherrifs dept , in the last 2.5 yrs. And still are. They used false stigimtism about Combat vetrans & PTSD . to cover up the elder abuse that took a family members life.

    Brannigan, what if your employer gave you an accommodation for 8 years then out of the blue suddenly said your 8 year accommodation was not an accommodation- then fabricated the need to provide you with a new accommodation, kick you out of your position saying that you refused your new accommodation?

    Does disability discrimination law apply to the hiring process in the same way that it applies to issues on the job and terminations? How can potential employers show that they did not have the intent to NOT hire a person based on a disability? On the flip side, how could a potential employee prove that disability discrimination was the reason for not being offered a job?

      Yes, we call those failure to hire cases. The law applies the same in CA. The challenges is finding a lawyer to take a case like that. They are much more difficult to win.     This is why I love California Laws. I Unfortunately I live in Utah and this state is very terrible at employing PWD People With Disabilities. To be honest I would have no problem making a corporation pay to put an elevator in to a building and if they did then they would no longer have any excuses to use to not accommodate for PWD. Utah is good at putting PWD to work in Disabled Sweatshops and paying PWD Sub-Minim-Wage.

      In CA some one went around suing about 180 small businesses up and down the state. It's now happening to some I know a they are at risk of loosing their livelihood/ the business they spent their whole life maintaining.
