    Hello Tomislav,
Thank you very much for this helpful information. As you describe the principle, it is very logical what happens. So I'm going to work in this way. I noticed already that when I leaned the main fuel needle, cylinder #2 started to run.
First I'm going to run the engine with some tilting of the stand and if needed somewhat leaner settings. Than I'm going to install the engine in the plane (Focke Wulf 190) and will fly it!
    Thanks again and best regards,
    Don

Wish you many happy flights. You will enjoy fw190 (I flew seagull one, 2m, with ngh38 and sounded great, sold it then got spitfire seagull and saito...)

Very nice mate and awesome display of this aeroplane. Im thinking of getting the same but i have a saito SAITO FA200 R3 RADIAL with a custom exhaust ring at 15mm. How did you go fitting your engine was thd plenty of room? Also what size 3 blade prop are you using? And your cg is set finally at 155 now? Thankyou

there is some room to spare which is great, nothing rubbing, I just made a wider firewall that I screwed ont ofactory one so motor could fit (holes are spread appart wide)
I now fly with 2 blade because it pulls better, should check on my other videos but I think it is 16x8. yes cg 155 but still playing with it, have other planes so not much airtime so far

    Hello Tomislav
In your post in May 2022 at Flying Giants you wrote that your Saito FG33R3 did not run on cylinder #2 with rich settings at break in. Can you please inform me how you solved this problem? Intake modification?
In your post of about a year later you said that you bought a new FG33R3 which should be modified by Saito themselves and runs great. This modification should be noted in the manual in red tekst. Can you tell me what exactly they describe?
My new Saito FG33R3 is from late 2022 and has no remarks in the manual. It also has the problem with cylinder #2 at the break in!😟
So I think the only way to solve this is to buy the (expensive) intake modification.
Thank you in advance for your reaction and best regards.

      Hi.
No no dont buy anything man!
You have a great engine already.
The thi g is cyl2 misfires at such rich setting during break in only, because there are some differences in fuel supply at ground when engine is not moving/flying... and when you add even more fuel for break in cyl2 passes way beyond ideal range of fuel/air ratio, the solution is simple, i tilted whole stand to other side so cyl2 would not be so low, and would get less air and start working again.
Search gor videos onliney some even made rotsting mounts so they could rotate engine 120° every few minutes during breaking in, and some mounted engine horisontally, prop to the sky and get same fuel distribution that way too...
But all that is only noticeable suring break in where you are almost flooding the engine, and fuel/ail ratio is soo bad and cyl temps are low...
During normal operstion later on, f/a ratio is ideal, some even go a bit to the lean side, certanly not to the rich... so all 3 cyls work ok and temps are normal so fuel ignites better. I do not know ehat they updated exactly but do not worry, try to get it to run(so cyl2 also heats up a bit like other cyls) and go fly, no need fo many hours of breaking in, just dont hold wot all the time in the air, it is scale engine, not 2 stroke screamer ;)
      Hope it helped man :)

    Nice flying,
Brilliant biplane. I also have maiden the same plane with same engine. What a cool combo, mine cones in at 6.8kg and am at about 150mmcg also..the plane flys Brilliant although i may move cg to 140mm ,the buker likes a little airspeed to land,im used to planes that float down to the strip.i have had some harsh landings, im going to practise more of that..what prop are you running..also what high and low carb needle settings have you got ?

      new video from yesterday. ua-cam.com/video/woc_n6VQPuM/v-deo.html
start from factory settings and then you have to lean it out to max rpm per manual, and I then richen a bit, 1/6 a turn, idle screw does not need some special tuning, only if you can not get it to idle slow, then mess a bit
