My vehicle- GMC Sierra 1/2 t pick up with lots of damage from door to tail. This was the result of driving 65 mph on I-94 when a Subaru about 50 feet in front of me and driving about 25 mph pulled into my lane. Rather than slamming on the brakes and maybe rear ending the Subaru, I pulled over to the right hand lane. A half mile ahead a wrecker was pulling a semi w trailer onto the highway, so I gave a little gas, hit black ice, and ended up taking out 2 or 3 of the posts supporting the cable fence in the median. Those cables cut through the Sierra's sheet metal like a hot knife through butter.
-3 years later while driving at the merge of I-94 from Milwaukee and I-90 from O'Hare and beyond, a 2 or 3 year old coupe was driving on the shoulder bypassing the bumper to bumper traffic. The shoulder was about to end and the entitled driver decided he wanted me to stop and let him in. Nope, not gonna happen. My European pianist friend was sitting in the passenger seat and motioned that this guy like he was going to weasel in or hit my truck. She said he was crazy and looked alarmed. So? I laughed. Let him hit me, he is a pig. She then said I was crazy. Let him hit me harder, I would like to have his insurance pay for the damage and repair my truck. She laughed. The entitled driver found another vehicle a little further ahead to let him in.

About the same location with traffic moving about 45 mph, but near bumper to bumper traffic. The right lane was open so traffic was faster, and a few entitled were speeding ahead and weaseling their in further ahead. A new larger Sprinter van with a stenciled business sign showing a garage door installation/ repair business. The Sprinter suddenly tried entering my lane; maybe I was in the driver's blind spot. When the Sprinter hit, it hooked the right side of the Sierra's front bumper and nearly tore it off. Not a real good spot to pull over, so I slowed to get the Sprinter license number. The Sprinter slowed, I sped up, the Sprinter sped up, so the Sprinter driver was trying to avoid being reported. I took several photos using the passenger side view mirror and also directly thought the passenger window, but failed to get the Sprinter license plate. What was captured was....interesting. I asked a friend who was Arizona's first female state trooper what she thought of the photo. I did not prime her because I wanted her objective opinion. Hmm, looks like there were other men in the van... and not fully clothed. Asked what did it look like they were doing? Uh,......
Without a license number and assuming the local police would take not action, I did not report this accident. A Google search found dozens and dozens of garage door install and repairs businesses in the north and northeast side of Chicago, so I would have had a hard time finding a match.

Having a beat up truck does have advantages. I pull into a parking space with cars on each side. When I come back after shopping, the space to the right is often vacant. I do not worry about my truck being door dinged, but apparently people parking next to my truck worry about theirs being dinged.
And these are adults behaving this way. Wow.

people need to be refresh on the road rules every 10 years or so, then they would know who has the right of way. I think people just get sick of other road users who don't know they are in the wrong!
maybe more frequent than that... an obnoxious a-hole recently ignored the traffic sign, cut me off, nearly caused a wreck, and when honked at he gives me the middle finger... There was no thought of "did I make a mistake?" or "sorry, my bad", it was "screw you" and "I don't care"... that kind of self-centered immature crap can result in people getting violent / shot - or better when it happens to a cop and they pull out their badge and let that idiot rot in a cell for a little while. Either way we ought to have IQ and personality checks prior to issuing drivers licenses to help curb the amount of motoring morons on the road.
Funny how most of them were in CA and TX. Think I’ll steer clear of those states.

So many of these there's nothing that seems to happen.
I worked at a theater as a stage decorator staff, and everyone here was heavier than 100 kg, because every day we moved 20-40 tons of weight by hand!
Once we went to the countryside and the driver of our minibus did something nonsense! Nothing serious, it could have been resolved with an apology - but there were 5 "hard and cool" guys sitting in the other car, and they started to pull our driver out of the car!
By the time we got out of the car (in live weight, approx. 1100 kg) and beat the 5 idiots so much that they literally screwed up and peed!
The work ethic in Central Europe is such that something has to be done once, but then thoroughly and perfectly! Well, this beating was like that too!
