As a returning player, I think it would be really cool if you'd maybe make an up to date gearing guide, A how to get caught up gear wise guide. A group of my friends and I came back after many years and it's been a bit overwhelming as we've forgotten everything! And honestly, your guides are top quality. really well made and clear. I wouldn't be surprised if you got a ton of viewers and subs when the new expansion comes out.

Agreed. I've been back at it for a month and have an 80 necro, but I'm lost as far as what ascended gear sets I should go for. I have an ascended amulet that I'm too scared to even use because I don't know what stats to pick...
@@Catbus-Driver I ended up quitting, got a bug and looked it up, it's been in the game since launch to the point that some more tech savvy users figured out what the issue was and pointed it out to the devs, nothing happened to fix. it's still there. After that recurring bug made playing a pain, and talking about it in community and hearing a ton of horror stories, I decided my time would be better spent elsewhere.
@@Catbus-Driver It's not crash related but mouse related, people have bought new mice thinking it was that and turns out it's age old bug. The game should be stable tho, I never got many crashes, I did however notice the games server stability drop more and more as I played.
Hi, I know I'm late to the party but I decided to start with GW2. Necromancer is my first class choice and your guides are gold to me! Thank you for such great content! I love the way your Necro looks and already learnt that you're using Grenth's Regalia Outfit. However, I cannot decide if it is worn by a Norn or Sylvari. Please, could you or anybody else let me know which race you chose? I love how bulky/gloomy his posture is! Thank you in advance!
This might be "pushing it" but.. do you remember which physique you chose for this character (they are: normal, huge, skinny, normal-ripped, fat). Sorry for such a trivial question!

I already have a reaper and returning player and started another necro and made her a scourge tonight. It seems that's a bad idea though as I am usually a solo player and this seems like a support group class. Guess I will just stick with my pets for now.
Returning player and definitely love the “pet” classes. I’ve finally got most of the scourge masteries learned so starting to play it more. I’m keeping my bone minions on my utility bar as they aggro and take pressure off me in open world. Sand shades are awesome! Since I also play a Mesmer, I am used to the extra bar and skills. It’s nice to have both Reaper and Scourge. Very fun yet different. I have to agree with others as this build is more supportive in a group, but it’s doable in zerg groups open world where I hang out. My Ranger (main) is gathering dust. Lol

@@nameisbad What bug? This has me a bit concerned now as me and a friend have both been having some crashing issues.

I would say go with what you enjoy the most but you'll certainly find it easier playing a Reaper solo 😃 Reaper shroud is amazing!
Don't worry, Scourge is actually a powerful solo class.

I don't think there is any advantage to overlapping shades on one target

What if you were to use a scepter instead of an axe. Is it still viable?
Does torment do more damage when target is moving or stationary
Some other skills seem to have it differently
Torment was changed on May 11,2021 to deal more damage while stationary
