I've been a landscape photographer since my first day with a camera. I never liked people in my shots. I was a no people ever photographer. It never interested me. But as I got older and busier, I had less and less time to go on long hikes and overnight landscape trips. I traveled to big cities for work and decided to research street photography and give it a try. Watching your POV videos helped me fall in love with street photography. I went from no people photos to waiting for people to walk into my photos! I love these. Thank you.
mine too - fairly new myself but I found walking through central london especially soho in the summer you can catch some (somewhat intrusive) drive-by potraits of people looking stylish and what not. A compliment here and there and I've found that to be a lot of fun
Absolutely love these types of POV Sam, so enjoyable to just sit back and watch! Massive appreciation for the amount of work that goes into these videos every day!
My favorite street photography lens is the zeiss batis 40mm. That lens has a fantastic minimum focal distance. It would be pretty dope to see very up close street photography or at least I think so and also I do it. But really what you have been doing is wonderful already.
These are my favourite kind of videos. Walking us through your thought process, your genuine interactions with fans and other photographers. I move to London (from Canada) in a week and hope I bump into you on the street sometime!
I really like to shot everything in the environment, birds, my cats, sunsets etc, but I have an special love for shooting cars, personally i would like more videos of these kind!
Nice chill walk even if not so many "amazing" shots. Good to see you also have days where you struggle a little to find stuff to shoot. Still focused on ur settings when you shoot :)
Im starting to like a lot of portrait, and street photography a lot of advertising and involvement with my community can be done with those two styles of photography!
After working as a chef for 6/7 years I had a change of heart, always had a passion for photography and have always loved it. So I saved up for a couple of months and bought my first camera a couple of days ago. Got the fujifilm x-t4, haven’t got out to properly test it out yet as I have been working but I hope to get out after Christmas! I love street photography and would love a career in photography!
Commenting on a 1 year ol video, cause I made it "this far" lol. I do and enjoy environmental photography. My work takes me to different warehouses for photography but I'm currently trying to "branch out" for more city and nature shoots. Moving next year to Gothenburg (swedens 2 biggest city), and you'r videos have been very inspiring on street photography mate. Cheers for that! Early happy christmas and good year.
I’m a landscape person but really enjoyed your video. I’ll subscribe because it’s always worth learning new photography skills and enjoying other peoples ideas.
Good stuff. Nice and relaxing and not rushed. I need to force myself to take to others I see on the street with cameras and not let me introverted self stop me. Thanks for sharing!
My favorite type of photography I can only describe as “subject photography”. And the subjects can be anything from cars to plants and trees. I don’t like taking photos of people, but I like to focus on plants and items. I also like landscapes from people who know what they’re doing, but I can’t do landscapes myself. Landscapes are the hardest photos I’ve ever tried to shoot.
Hi Sam long pov but you kept engaging with the viewer which goes to show we all have days when you struggle to get the banger shots your right it's about going out and finding the bangers . I like to shot my local market in Bury Lancashire always a great vibe Camden Market will be interesting this time of year the guy sat wit the pink background is cool ✌
I love wildlife and bird photography, but really interested in street too. I don't live in the city so don't have much opportunity to practice street, bit I love watching these videos 😊👍
I started with landscape/night sky photography because i lived in the very north of Scotland but recently moved back to kent and getting in street, really enjoying it but my favourite has to be night sky, honestly can't be late night out with super clear skies, and the northern lights if lucky
Really enjoy doing live music photography, Haven't shot any big gigs yet though. But also really enjoy doing street photography when I get to go to a city/big town!
I ditched my A7iii for a year to learn film photography.. probably one of the best ideas Ive ever had! Im back to digital now with my 85mm 1.4 and a 35mm photographing mainly street/portraits and automotive ;)
Street photography is my favourite, it's a bit of a struggle in my country because you can't take photographs of people legally without asking them before, so there's a bit of a challenge from time to time.
Dude you have damn good knowledge of photography, and specifically in street photography. I have learnt a lot of things by just watching your videos.those videos about mobile photography was excellent and helpful for me . Doing great job keep it up 👍. Lots of love from India.
Hi Sam I really enjoyed the video today like you said it’s about getting out and enjoying being out taking photos.I have bought some really good second hand cameras etc from the London camera exchange online from their various branches. I also really like the way you talk to other photographers good on you young man 🔥🔥🇬🇧
Sup man! Stumbled upon your UA-cam since the iPhone 13 pro photography vid. Love your content very inspirational. My jam: I’m a self made coffee geek and post pics on Instagram. I used to have a DSLR but went for phone photography only didn’t want to swap lenses constantly. My fav lens was the plastic fantastic 50mm 1.8. Keep it up!
I enjoy looking at other peoples work in all sorts of fields. most of my stuff ends up as night/low-light photography due to the time I shoot or the weather being thickly overcast. haven't picked a niche to focus on yet, but I know I enjoy looking at architecture more than trying to shoot it, same for most landscapes.
Nice chill vid, through watching your vids I'm clocking just to get out more and chances are higher to get a great shot (which should be obvious lol). Used to get annoyed if I had a shit shooting day
Great content! I came across your channel and I'm enjoying your videos. Even on a dreary day you can still get some sick photos. Thanks for the inspiration!
I like landscape and nature photography (but I'm also a curmudgeonly introvert, so...); however, I also love seeing POV videos of street and portrait photography.
Hi Sam, really enjoyed this... Looking forward to heading back to London again... I love Camden, don't do a lot of street but must try... Love your videos, learn a lot.

I'm new to photography, but my favorite styles thus far are street and portrait. I'd love to blend the two styles into something unique
mine too - fairly new myself but I found walking through central london especially soho in the summer you can catch some (somewhat intrusive) drive-by potraits of people looking stylish and what not. A compliment here and there and I've found that to be a lot of fun

My favorite street photography lens is the zeiss batis 40mm. That lens has a fantastic minimum focal distance. It would be pretty dope to see very up close street photography or at least I think so and also I do it. But really what you have been doing is wonderful already.
