      I saw in a couple of spin vids you're cranking the metals in. Try adding some dead stops in if ya chasing the Bonnie's. They hit twice as much when you add that pause!

    Can you recommend some cleats or other suitable shoes and where to get them? Will be in Sydney next month (first time in aus) and will try some rock fishing. Thanks!

      Hi mate, I recommend going with a guide like Alex Bellissimo if it is your first time fishing off the rocks in Sydney. It is very dangerous if you aren't familiar with the ocean here. Life threatening type dangerous. As for cleats, an old pair of shoes with the Snowline Chainsen Pro pull-ons do the job. Get in touch with Alex www.bellissimocharters.com.au

    What size rod do you recommended or like to use when rock fishing?

    • @bugsyfishing
      @bugsyfishing  5 місяців тому

      Hi Tonez, the rod I use most is a 9'8" Oceans Legacy Specialist PE 2-4. I find it light enough and comfortable enough to use for hours and it can handle most fish I encounter off Sydney. Something around the 10ft length is versatile for spinning lures and shore jigging

      Thank you. I prefer not to share the location and keep good relations with the people who fish these spots regularly

    Stuff me that fish looks juicy 😋, what the BBQ bonito recipe, if u don't mind me asking 😁

    • @bugsyfishing
      @bugsyfishing  7 місяців тому

      Very juicy. Pretty simple recipe, just marinate it in teriyaki sauce for at least 15 mins. Then throw it on the barbecue. I cook it on both sides and try to leave the middle a little raw

      Hi there, this is a Sydney ocean ledge but Sydney Harbour ledges have been holding fish too

    You mind sharing the spot exactly where it is please?

    • @bugsyfishing
      @bugsyfishing  7 місяців тому +2

      Hi there, it is common etiquette in the fishing world not to share exact locations of spots. Mainly to respect the people who fish it regularly. Sydney Harbour ledges have been fishing well. I recommend trying those spots east of the Harbour Bridge. Tight lines

      @abdoz571 7 місяців тому +1

      This is not a etiquette. This is called selfishness. You dont want to share it because you don't want others to fish there. You want it for yourself and you called this etiquette. Thank you mate. Good fishing.

      Brother bugsy what is the size of the swell on your video? Thanks brother I love your videos

    • @bugsyfishing
      @bugsyfishing  7 місяців тому +1

      @@peterjamesnopia2292 cheers Peter. It was about 1m. Always bigger sets though so important to check the max wave height too. The Manly Hydraulics Lab website gives you access to the buoy readings. Apologies if you already knew this but will help if you don't
