Kantha Embroidery of Bengal is a traditional form of embroidery. Initially it was done by using old clothes for use in the house. Now there are different types of stitches used in the embroidery like running stitch, bow stitch, chelly and many more. It is used in Sarees, Suits, home furnishings etc.
