But you just need to know what to say and how to handle the phone call.

Got my ink unlimited yesterday because I was prepared with the answers to the questions your blog and this video prompted me for. Just wanted to say thank you.
Subscribed. This was very helpful. Called the Chase recon line and got approved. I like your South African flag behind you.
Initially got the 7-10 day message. Called the reconsideration line and got approved for 5.2K. Thanks for the advice!

This info worked for me with both chase and amex. I was denied from both companies because of closed delinquent school loans. Score is good, but my report still reports closed accounts. I called and explained my situation with my school loans and was approved. This helped me a lot, thank you!
Awesome, congrats!
Very helpful info. I had to call them and verify the information and as soon as they got it, I got approved.
Thanks. That's awesome you got approved!
Your video is spot on...I applied for the Freedom Unlimited online and got the thank you for applying We'll contact you with a decision soon" I thought I was declined and didn't even think about it until I saw your video and others talking about reconsideration line ....I called once and got the automated 2 week notice...called
Again and got the 7-10 day notice called a third time and got 30 day notice .I finally got the nerve to speak with an agent and after verifying some personal info was approved for $4000 cl ...Should note Credit Karma said I had a 637 FICO but all my Bill's are paid on time and all other credit cards are paid off no other outstanding debt or late payments but do have 2 chargeoffs 5 years ago ...still approved .Thank You for the great advice
Credit Karma goes off Vantage Score 3.0. For the most accurate score, check Discover Scoreboard or Experian for free. They show FICO 8.
I like your presentation style; you’re very thorough with pertinent information.👍
Thanks, I really appreciate it! Glad you found it helpful!
UponArriving I am beyond 5/24 at the moment; the only Chase card I have is the IHG Premier; would love to someday soon have a Chase Trifecta as well as the World of Hyatt and the Chase Southwest personal and business cards.
@@1drummer172 Ah, yes. Maybe focus on business cards until you can get back under 5/24?
UponArriving Great idea!
I’m so glad I Came across your video this morning while cooking breakfast.
I applied for a reserve card on Sunday and received an email with no wait time indication. So after watching your video I called the number for credit applications info.
I was told by the automated system that they would get back to me in writing within 30 days, of course I don’t want to wait that long, so I spoke to a rep. After confirming my ss# address, they sent me a code via text, told them that code, was asked to spell my mother’s maiden name and was approved.
Thanks for the info!
Awesome congrats on the approval for such a great card! Be sure to check out the new app WalletFlo to help you get approvals in the future. See the new vid for details!
UponArriving will doo.
Just got off the phone and got a W. Thanks a lot for everything
I just verified this with Chase today!!! Chase does not look at credit scores when deciding if you should get a card. You can have a 700 Fico score with past charge offs and not get a card. You can also have a 660 credit score with no charge offs or delinquencies and get approved for a $5k limit. Your credit score doesn't figure into the equation at all.
This totally worked! I watched your video several time, thanks for the tips.
Chase denied me upon initial application. I called in, first lady said I couldn't do anything about it. Called in a few hours later and got a nice guy. Followed all your tips when talking to him, he transferred me to his supervisor and she called me with a few questions.
Make sure you say when they ask that you just want a better way to segregate business and personal funds like this guy says. She approved me after only 1 day of "reconsidering me"!
Thanks so much!
Good Video. Thanks for the information I have all the things you said before I watch this video. I have two cards with chase. But I will keep them more active. Because I want more credit cards with them. I hate these rules
I'm literally on hold with Chase right now (the music is terrible), and they successfully reconsidered and approved my application. Just wanted to say that this video was SUPER helpful. Thank you for the great tips! 👍🙌
That's awesome -- so glad the info helped!
Currently on the waiting line and I agree this music is killing me 🙃😄
Awesomely thorough video! Thanks for sharing the information.
This is definitely not for the faint of heart nor the thin of skin. I called the Recon line 2x and was still denied due to 1 delinquent student loan payment in 2013🤦🏾♀️.
Haven’t decided if I’ll try a 3rd time. It may be better for me to dispute the late payment and apply again next month.
I'm hoping you tried again. 🤞 I was in a very similar situation due to a late student loan payment after my mail was stolen. I provided my reasoning based on this video (specific card benefits vs competitors, planned use, etc) and was approved. It also may depend on your rep, so keep trying and best of luck! 👍
The two week message is true. I wasn’t instantly approved and called the automated line. It said I will know in writing in two weeks. I called back after watching this video and it said that I was approved!!!
That's awesome -- congrats! What card did you go for?
Yes same here!
your amazing!!thank you soo much for taking the time to make this video! you taught me soo much!!!!
Thanks -- glad you found it helpful!
Great, straightforward video. Thanks
I have both ink cash and ink preferred, if you plan on using a dba, you better have it with you on hand or else they will deny you immediately. Also make sure and tell them to upload it in your chase profile..so that it can get approved within a day or two and then just have them overnight your card free no charge. If you plan on doing it online.. will take quite a bit longer and you’ll find out somewhere around a week by mail
Hey brother. I just applied for the chase sapphire reserve on March 7th. I then get a email saying 7-10 business days they will let me know. 3 days later a chase analyst called to confirm if I’m really applying for the card and not someone else using my information. 2 days later I received a letter stating I was denied to having too many accounts with chase/having high CL on the cards. After watching your video I used the shifting credit limit over from my 30k freedom card and sending 20k to the sapphire reserve. The man later says please wait I will ask my supervisor to take your counter offer. And 4 minutes after being on hold, the analyst says congratulations you have been approved for the CSR at 20k CL!! I was super hyped. Thank you for blessing me with the knowledge.
P.s I was legit at 5/24 after receiving my freedom card on January 2020. I hit the 5/24 right on the mark.
Great video very informative!!
Thanks, I appreciate it!
I got a 2 week to 7-10 day message. I also got an approved! from the chase status application checker before the 7-10 message
Thank you! I was not immediately approved, called the reconsideration line. I was approved with a $15,000!!!!

I’m 20 and I opened 3 chase cards Freedom April 2018 CSP oct 2018 and ink may 2019 never been denied by chase. I don’t take that for granted at all I know some people really struggle with them. I don’t think I’m gonna get any more chase cards they scare because they are becoming more and more strict.
Hi! Can you do the video for the Business Recon. I liked that you went extra mile for thoroughness. I need "any chase business card", because amex isn’t accepted everywhere….Hoping for this to be your very next video. Subbed.
Thanks for the sub -- hoping to get to that video soon!
@@UponArriving looking forward to the business recon video

Great video. Subscribed
Thanks!
i got 7-10 day message and spoke to CSR who said I was declined, then spoke to rep at lending department next day who said I was actually approved. Weird..
Thank This is some good information! I called that line two weeks ago, I'll try one more time for a positive approval! Peace
Thanks and good luck!
I use to have chase i have credit union now + got granted new platlium card rewards! 💗😄💗
Didn't get any of those messages. But the got the following one-What does this mean?
"We have received your request for a Chase credit card. We'll let you know our decision as soon as possible.
Thank you for choosing Chase.
"
The letter that was sent to me wants income verification by faxing in W2 or pay stubs. Have you seen this process work before?
I called she told me that my last card application falls off JUNE 2020 and the decision is final not able to even reconsider. At lease it wasn’t my credit score!!
Thanks for this video. I've been working my way up to the sapphire reserve for the past few months so I really want it. Do you know if going to a branch to apply for the card will increase my chances? I've been hearing people mention that.
How'd it go?
So if I’m on 2 authorized users Ford that count towards the 5/25 rule. ?? Also. I can’t have 5 credit cards the past 2 years or are they talking about applications??
Hi great video! Just wondering how long after you are denied should you call the reconsideration line? Should you call the same day or wait a few weeks?
You can call the same day. I’d wait a couple of hours so it can process though.
Thank you for your clear presentation.
Applied for Chase Freedom Flex today and was rejected outright. FICO is a little over 700. Income is good. I don’t get it. Calling reconsideration line I guess.
What happened after you called the recon line? I’m thinking of applying for the same card and I’m also a little over 700
Meh, I didn’t bother. Chase has denied me twice for cards within the past 6 months or so, so I figure they don’t want my business enough. I’ve been approved for the AmEx Platinum, Gold, and Hilton Aspire card within the past couple months. Yea, my 5/24 is screwed now, but i’m ok with that.
@@toothybj is alredy 1 year so 1 more year and u will have a strong profile
Thank you for the info. I just applied for the Amazon Prime card and got declined. Called the recon line and it was because I have a Chapter 7, but from June 2012. It has dropped off on all credit reports except for Experian. The analyst said they randomly pull from 1 of the 3... is worth applying again in hopes of it pulling from one that the record is not on?
Glad I found your vlog. Applied for Chase card online and received a message of 7 to10 waiting letter, 1 week letter received a denied letter and decided to call the chase recon line, and line asked for my s.s
N and it went straight to a message line stating I was approved and should be receiving the card in mail next week. Is this normal to happen after calling recon line and cannot connect to someone human?

hello, I just put in for the chase freedom card but was turned down. I called the status line and got the 7-10 day message but I never got a email of any status. When I check how many cards I opened in 24 months it looks like I maybe at the 5/24 mark. What should I do at this point or should I just wait until I'm not within the 5/24 rule.
If you are at 5/24 for your chances of approval are pretty much zero so I would just wait it out until you are not within the rule. See my latest video for how that will be possible in the future!
I called and they asked for my social. Is that okay to say out loud?
What if you’ve applied for and was approved for other cards that place you over 5/24, but these cards have not hit your credit profile yet. Does applying for a chase card at that point place you out of bounds ?
Do you have problem with increasing your credit score and removing your poor credit reports, I've got a good news for you , my credit score was just increased from 470 to 820 and and all my awful credit reports has been cleared,he also hacked into my 3 credit bureaus, let me introduce you to Michael Gibbs, you can contact him through his mail 'Gibbs@creditpatchup.com'and thank me later.
hello,
what if they said
We have received your request for a Chase credit card. We'll let you know our decision as soon as possible.
thank you for your help!
How'd it end up?
I got the we are not able to approve u and u will recive a letter from 7 to 10 days. My experian is 685 and my 2 cards are cap on 4 months and chime credit builder is 7 or 5 months because of the days.
I will try the reconsideration line and see what happens. If not then i wont touch chase until 1 or 2 years
what happened?
What if the screen and email both showed “Will back to you ASAP”?
I’ll update the result to u when settled.
Yeah I’m not sure about that one. Please report back (hopefully with good news!)

My wife has the CIP and CIU with $8K of CL of each, she applied for the CIC last weekend and got that info.
I hope Chase can simply reallocate the CL to something like ($5K x 3) then approve the CIC!
Otherwise, we plan to use the content of ur video hopefully can persuade the re-con decision maker!
Sounds like a good plan. Search chase business recon on my website and I have more info specifically for business credit cards. 👍
UponArriving
Good news that Chase approved her CIC-request about 6 business days later (there was the President’s Day holiday) and $4K of CL same as the CIU and the CIP is $8K!
@@maoworkshen2564 I got the exact same messages. I applied a day before Labor Day. Let's hope I get the same results.🤞🏾🤞🏾
my 7-10 day pending just turned into a 2 week message, should i assume that i was approved?
How did it go? Did you get approved?
UponArriving I did not get approved, credit score was 745 experian 755 TransUnion 720 equifax.
I’m 31 and have been struggling with fraud on my credit for the majority of my credit history.
Their reasoning is not enough credit history and too many inquiries (3 inquiries)
I did however get approved for an amex blue cash everyday and an amex delta gold.
I applied for the Chase Freedom Unlimited Card on 11/3. It’s 11/14 and I haven’t heard anything. The only message I have received is “Thank you for applying we will let you know our decision as soon as possible” . My credit score is good, and I have had an account with them for 5 years. I called and I was told it was still under review. Any tips? ... Oh yes, and I have not applied for multiple cards in the last 2 years or even in the last year.
Did you ever get approved?
I’m in similar situation. How did it go for you? Any tips?
@@luistorres250 Hey… I was finally approved. The only way I knew that was by logging into my Chase account because I have checking with them and the account was there with the limit. So don’t be alarmed if you don’t receive any correspondence. I didn’t hear anything until I saw the account there when I logged in.
@@Tridzoid Yes, I did. Finally. It seems like it took them forever to approve me
@@KFontLab I am happy for you! I’m currently waiting my approval and going to give them a call tomorrow 🤞🏽
I just called the reconsideration line and the gentleman I spoke to said he needed to submit the recon paperwork to his supervisor so he can look over it and I would know something in 10 days. That was strange as I expected to get an answer of yes or no right away. Any idea the reason for this? He said that I may get a call asking for information to be sent to them.
Did you end up getting it?
@@eddie9099 No, I did not. They said I did not have anything with high lines of credit. No car loans or mortgage payments.
Credit History of 6 Months.
I really want the Chase Freedom and I applied for one 4 months ago. Was denied for not a long enough credit history. I have a score of 700. Should I take another shot? Or open a checking and then applying?
H-4-X Which credit cards do you have currently?
Capital one. I applied and was denied again. Then Applied for American express and was denied. Ill just wait a whole year.
H-4-X I was gonna say yea you should wait a year. I would have stopped after the chase, or apply for a discover and waited 6 months. But since you apply to those two you should definitely wait a year.
I might wait a little longer. 2 years and let the hard inquiry leave the credit report. Down side is, 2 years is pretty far. I was going to open a checking with Chase during that time, so itll increase my chances if I have been banking with them for 2 years. Also. Do you think I should call for reconsideration?
H-4-X I don’t think you should call you only have one credit card plus they will see that you just applied for that Amex. I bank with chase, I think that’s a great idea opening a checking account with them. They are offering new members 300 dollars when opening a new checking with direct deposit. I forget if there is a minimum amount that has to be deposited for the first month but I think it’s low.
I just applied. I was declined so I called the recon #. And was told that the account will be under review and I’ll get something in the mail between 1-2weeks. I don’t think I’m gonna get it:(. Wish me luck.
Did you get it?
Grand Master Mawile I did get it. After being told I’d get something in the mail, I waited about one week. But being impatient me, I decided to call again and the a rep told me that I was approved at that very moment I called. Got my card in about a week later. This video really helped me out big time. My credit is now at approximately 760
What’s the recon number to call?
Probably don't need it anymore but here it is. 1-888-270-2127
Would having a chase savings account with a lot of money in it help? I don't know if they check that sort of thing, but it seems like it could help me look like less of a risk if I have more money in savings than my credit limit.
I think that could definitely help your odds. I know for a fact they look at things like that sometimes.
@@UponArriving Thanks for the feedback, I'll give it a try.
if you have over $10k in available cash in any of your accounts, you should apply with a banker in a bank because they could overrule the regular decision
