I was wondering, is there a true instrumental only version in the game files that you could upload? I often sing this for my baby as a lullaby, we would both appreciate it!
Anyone else seen gameplay of this and imagine the other singers in the background were the spirits of fallen dwarves calling back to times of greatness?
When playing the sense is that when you sing the song of durin you are momentarily connected once more to the great dwarven whole, which is especially impactful if you're playing a solo game and have spent long hours alone in the dark of moria :')
I’ll be honest. I went from ”Idk this sounds a bit Disney” to ”The choir is singing straight into my sould and it makes me yearn for elder day not of this world”
yep when i started to sing the first Statue i found and later at the libary it really hit you with how they set up the songs. feels very LotR and dwarvish ^^
I played through DA:I recently and they started singing like a bunch of low-tier written Disney princesses right before you get the castle, 500 million dollar game. ROM, Small Team, and Small Studio made a song that made me feel more than that corporate slop 100-hour game.

Am I the only one, who sheds a single tear every time hears it? Amazing
No brother for durin will come again and lead us once again for we are dwarfs never leaving something undone

I got chills when I first found a monument and the choir joined in with my dwarf lass
The devs understood the assignment.

Ditto!
Personally, I think it matches the Lotr vibe great, starts out meh but breaks the ceiling in its greatness

Bor, I memorized this song from the version of Clamavi De Profundis, when I heard it in the game for the first time I almost started crying...
Their version will always be my favorite, but the one in game will always have a special pace in my heart.
They did it really well, and I also liked the bonus version they with John Rhys-Davies' narration.
Sorry, heard this one and cried.
Heard Profundis’ version and wasn't impressed.

I really liked “the Dawn will come.” Reminded me a lot of Pippins Song. I think there’s even a mashup of the two
dwarves spontaneously singing like Gimli in Lord of the Rings during their visit in Moria, such a strong race!
'Baruk Khazâd! Khazâd ai-mênu!'Baruk Khazâd! Khazâd ai-mênu!
Axes of the dwarves! The dwarves are upon you!
'til Durin wakes again from sleep
Tafka Durin khudrir ✊

This bought me to tears. So beautiful ❤️

lask at nadu… pr what wver you say when you see dirt
😊😊😊😊😊
The Clamavi de Profundis melody sadly remains unbeaten.
Hail durin
Uh, why is it never the whole song when my gf and I play? If the answer is that it takes more people, that is bullshit.
Nah, each statue throughout the game sings one verse. Doesn't matter how many people are playing. This is just them all edited together!
