- Wizard Mode Challenge Complete! Final Showdown in Stranger Things reached and completed on attempt #81 with the game set to only a single extra ball.
Excellently crafted wizard mode with multiple stages! Go to 38:48 if you want to skip straight to Final Showdown.
Thanks to Stern Pinball for making this challenge possible!

This machine came to town a month ago and I've fallen in love with it. Such a fun game with tons of modes! But I never knew about the swipe-a-ball nor the bomb, so thanks for showing me that!
Wizard Modes:
Light the Fire: 29:34
Send It Back: 35:55
Final Showdown: 38:48
Snow Ball: 43:31
Great stream! Adding value to the machine!
nice to watch Karl, well played ;)
Enjoyed it - thanks Karl!
Great job Karl!
Hello, Sir! Amazing play - thanks for sharing. I just got a pro so I’m learning the game. Just checking - this was your 81st attempt to finish the game? I don’t think I will ever get there! 😂
Good stuff man
I own this pin. Amazing job! Why is it that mystery is either add a ball, or add time. and maybe Bul%&it? I haven't anything else come up? Its usually add time. Now that I have watched the entire video, I see more awards.
This is a late reply but in case you haven't fixed this... I have Stranger Things at home and was having the same problem come to find out it came from factory in competition mode where randomness was removed so it gave the same mystery reward every time.
I just played this again and on my last game I got the demogorgon wizard mode. It felt great. Those random upside down features can get in the way and get really annoying.
Just played this on location again and was so close to the demogorgon wizard mode, but had a really good run on telekinesis multiball. Also got my first ever total isolation multiball. I’m so happy right now.
Why does your projector look so much better than any others ive seen?
Karl, did you do anything to your right orbit? Mine will exit the right orbit and hit off the rubber near the 'G' target and feed the left sling. A nudge can get it to miss the rubber but then it doesn't really feed the right flipper. Seems a valuable thing considering post passing isn't easy on this. Thanks!
I did! Contrary to what seems obvious, I pulled the rail in a bit so the ball would hit the one-way gate on the way down and push just past the slingshot. Before it would hit the top of the right slingshot.
And I was off "only" by about 200 attempts. Pretty much flexing at this point if you don't even come close to the first EB count increase you gave us as an estimate of how difficult this is. :D
I put the EB increase in there as a just-in-case clause for around the time I would start to lose my mind!
great job! I bought the pro of this machine and love it. How do you get the flippers so reactive? Mine came very stiff from the factory.
I didn't change anything with the flippers apart from adding an aftermarket fan kit from PinMonk to help with the long gameplay sessions. Usually Stern flippers are very responsive out of box.
Did you do anything to your projector screen? It looks incredibly clear.
I "cheated" on the stream/recording and was overlaying a direct capture of the projector and its elements on top of my layout.
Knocker not work? 🤔
super random question, what kind of flipper rubbers do you use? thx for the content
Depends on the game. For this one I left the factory flipper rubbers on. If I replace them it will be standard red flipper rubber.
@@IEPinball the glow in the dark titans don't feel good in this machine unfortunately. looks like regular rubber gives you more control..
@@cleanandlevel titans should give you more control. Once they get dirty, they should okay like normal rubber. Then you’ll also have the cool glow effect still.
Pretty plain looking pin
