I love 18" floors. Whenever I'm tuning up a 16" floor tom, I'm often disappointed because I'm wanting a sound that only an 18" can deliver.

I prefer smaller sizes, 14 and 16 work better for me but this 18 sounds really good.

Let me answer with a question… anyone crazy obsessed with the 19" floor possibility?
Because it’s bubinga AND because it’s 15" deep, it’s a YAY for my 18" Starclassic . But not always a winning size!
Also YAY because i would NEVER have a 14" as my first or only floor. So 16+18 is the winning duo!
But yeah, I secretly wish for 19" floors to fullfill my OCD dream of three-inch gaps between drums! 10, 13, 16, 19, 22(kick).
