Baldwin587 lot of railroads rewrote the song back in the day to pump up their enginers and to talk about how something like that would never happen on their railroad. Basically 19th, 20th century shit posting
Im surprised that these songs have ballads about legends and stories.(for example: John Henry, and Wreck Of Old 97) and with this one, they were like "No. It's too dark for children." despite the fact Casey tells the fireman to jump for his life since Casey doesn't want his to be taken with him; however, If Casey Jones was able to stop the train in time, why bother telling the fireman to jump if everything's going to work out in the end? That big plot hole has always bothered me. Thats not to say the song isn't catchy though, i still find it a banger.
Maybe, but the 1950 Disney Casey or should I say Casey Jones 2.0 went west with a 4-4-0 locomotive No. 2 (Also known as Johnny) with one mail car & a red 4 wheel caboose #53, but survived a freight train wreckage in Reno hill, Wyoming.
I used to listen to this album for hours on end as a child.
Great opportunity for kids to check in with the way things used to be!
I love the Casey Jones song.😃😃😃😃😄😄😄😄🚊🚂🚂🚊🚊🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂
Even though the song is really inaccurate it's still catchy
It is actually the original version of the song
@@richardjayroe8922 I know
Even though the Song is Inaccurate,I still love it
Same
good song
There's just one quirk... They say he stopped an inch from the freight... I like this version, but I wonder why they changed that?...

Wrong Casey went up the caboose of that freight and died
pretty brutally
He hit himself in the throat
Zac And Brandon And Ian 2020 no a bolt from the locomotives boiler blasted off and hit his throat
