So happy when Carole talked about calling out those rude passengers who stood in front of you. And I’m thrilled it was a proud husband moment for Paul too! I’ve been traveling with my best friend for more than 25 years and we travel so well together except for that exact thing. He thinks it’s equally rude to confront someone for their own rude behavior, and I on the other don’t want their behavior to ruin my own experience. I despise sitting behind people in a Broadway show that are talking the whole time for example. So I occasionally have to bite my tongue, but I certainly don’t always, haha. I just can’t!! And it’s justified!!

Nice to see Carole let rip for a change! There’s plenty to do onboard the ship which I know is something those who’ve not cruised before wonder about.
Good explanation of the upgraded drinks package, I don’t think it’s worth it. The breakfast looked perfect especially the eggs.
If Carole keeps doing that she’s going to make me redundant 🤣🤣🤣 drinks packages are probably one of the biggest bones of contention on cruises so we are glad our explanation made sense.

We’re on Iona in 2 weeks and still can’t decide what to do with the drinks package. The new Deluxe option hasn’t helped either 😂

As i heard that she would leave the german market, i was a bit worried that they might scrap her, a fate that hit a lot of 90s cruise ship during the padamic. But it seems they did a nice overhall to her.
So nice to see her thriving again. Did you now she was built only a hour away from me, by a famous Cruise-Shipyard, the Meyer-Werft? My current employer sold parts for this ship.
You showed one of my favorit spots, the after area outside the "Squid and Anchor" (than the Schaubar) - watching there by a nice "Sex on the Beach" the sunset will forever stay in my heart.
I also enjoyed the video outside of my "Voyager-Fanism" a lot, very nice, thank you!
Oh fab memories! Yes have heard of Meyer Werft. That is a great spot at the back!

Although I have never sailed on a Carnival ship, to me from looking at various vlogs, that is Butlins at sea. The six times I have sailed on Marella it has never been like Butlins at sea. Not sailed in school holidays so don’t know how the ship is then. Can’t wait for your next vlogs on Marella.

Another great video... 👍The meet the Captain event did seem a bit weird in how it was delivered... we've been with Marella twice in the last few months, on Explorer (with Steve James) and on Discovery and both times this was in the Atrium with senior officers standing and speaking alongside the Captain... maybe, as a maiden voyage, some officers were new to the posts and not yet comfortable speaking in front of lots of people.. 🤷♀️. be interesting to see how futures cruises do it on Voyager... Summer House is just like Mediterranean bar on Explorer... Perfect!! Ps... I think its a rabbit... 😂

Hi had same problem in Squid/ Anchor on Explorer people come in late after show starts and block your view to small an area bad design posts blocking view why not have walk way at back of room . Love your comments and stories

Being from California I have the advantage of local immersion in Spanish, so can help with the pronunciation of "Abuelas". Abuela means grandma, so Abuela's means "Grandma's, and is pronounced Ah bway lahz.

We have always loved Marella and the voyager is definitely up there with all our previous experiences. Disappointed that you sided with Carole 🤣🤣🤣
On NCL you have a choice of any drink up to the value of $15, for any drink value above that say $20 you get charged the difference of $5.
The drinks on Marella look exceptional value.

Great vlog guys.We bought the drinks package on our last cruise on Discovery,when it was £50 per person.But we won't be buying it on this years cruise at £80 per person,that would be £160 for our 2 week cruise,We'd prefer to buy the better drinks now and then..and they put it on our bill. It's a dog..

Yes you do £31.95 per person.
Breakfast needs to include proper eggs which you can dip toast in to the yolk. Most important part of breakast if you go for English style food. Hard yolks are awful!!

Hi guys, me and my wife are on the voyager in Jan for our honeymoon from Barbados for 2 weeks, we have gone for a room with balcony, what are these rooms like we are in room 9052, think it's deck 9, have you any idea if this is good location. Really look forward to hearing from you
Hi Jason what a great way to honeymoon, your cabin is towards the front of the ship so you may get a little bit of movement but as there are cabins above and below it should be nice and quiet, I’ve put a link below to a balcony cabin tour for you to look at

@@jasonhorseman3041 No they don't normally provide another table. Did you tell them it was your honeymoon on booking, if so they will have it on record. No tips really just seems the luck of the draw!

Hi, Paul you really need to stop correcting and making fun of Carole while she is talking. It’s annoying to watch and it interrupts the flow of the video. Once in awhile is ok but it gets old when you go on and on making fun of her. She may not mind but like I said it gets old and distracts from what the point of the discussion is.
I think you might need to switch off if it annoys you so much. I think they work well together and I enjoy their humour.
