I got a sensitive scalp and I wish someone would do this to me. Usually if we got thick hair this would be great for us. But imagine brushing your hair after this.

Even as a 20 year old, I will still sit between my mom's legs and ask her to play with my hair or rub my back. Nothing beats a mother's touch! Wonderful video as always

If u think this is rough, then u have no idea what rough really is. Massage is not massage if u r gentle like feather, in that case, blood flow wont be activated. This is the right way, A+ for mom
I still think it's more the result of a hypersensitive mic... The scratching sounds like me scrubbing my bath's floor, and she is clearly not applying THAT much strenght.
EDIT: Though no exaggerated sound can be explanation for that *intense* hair tugging around 7:00...
Sure, massage stimulates blood flow, but the title does say "Relaxing Head Massage", not "Theraputic" or "Deep"
So you tell me if having your head thrown around and roughly pat for 20 minutes is inherently "relaxing" 😅

Momma Cam ASMR reminds me of my great grandmother. She too was rough when it came to personal care stuff. Not because she was trying to be rough and cause pain but after 60+ years (for my grandmother) and raising 2 children, 5 grandchildren and countless GREAT grand children, she had gotten efficient with helping little ones bathe and brush hair etc. We never found it painful or unkind.
I miss her (she passed away almost 15 years ago) every day and this massage reminded me so much of getting my hair washed and brushed by her when I was little (I also used to have very long and thick hair like Emily)

I was admitted to a psychiatric hospital once and I used to see this guy whose mother visited quite often and he would just rest his head on her leg and she would run her fingers through his hair or rub his back the entire visit (which lasts for an hour max). It was very touching

Great massage, very relaxing! I just want to let you know tho, it is generally not healthy to leave hair in shampoo that long, it can dry out the hair and scalp. It is best to use conditioner if you are doing a long massage.

I actually like the idea of the hair pulling in the video. It may look like it would hurt but it actually feels good 😄 same goes for the roughness of the whole massage lol
I actually enjoyed the "roughness" to it. It feels good and promotes great circulation. My only ONLLLY criticism is that when the hair is wet it's very fragile.. So pulling it around wet would cause breakages. As a hairdresser I found it hard to watch without that going through my head!
