Got a haircut in Qatar, just electric shave because I’m bald. Guy gave a massage like this, was so unexpected and they only charged me $6. I handed him a $20 and said the rest is a tip. The guys eyes filled with tears and he hugged me. Was a truly humbling experience.

This is standard in most Middle Eastern barbershops and India as well. When I was deployed and got my hair cut they would always do this. I was like ummmm wtf then just learned to get over it. Sometimes it was rough and was more like a beat down.
American kids need to watch this and take note of what it means to do work. Every job is different but you gotta get in there and grind and perfect ur craft. That kid was a total boss about it.

I visited Toronto for a few days and got a haircut at a barbershop in the underground shopping area. All I intended on getting was a haircut, but the nice lady just offered me more things. All in all, I got a haircut, a shave, a nice short head massage. One of my most fond memories.
