The way Wally says “I still like Homewarming..everyone likes Homewarming” makes me believe he doesn’t actually like it, but maybe is too afraid to say that out loud?
I think so too. It tracks tbh, with Wally being said to be autistic and Homewarming clearly their version of Christmas/other winter Holidays. Some autistic folk aren't the biggest fans of Christmas due to it being a stressful and routine-disrupting holiday where you're often forced to socialise/mask a lot and get exposed to a lot of sensory stuff. Poor guy
Yeah, that's the vibe I got too. Like he's saying "everyone like home warming, so I should like home warming, even though he's clearly uncomfortable with it. The monologue also gives the impression that Wally feels extremely isolated and alone on the holidays. I felt so sad for him.@@hannahhybrid8075
That line gave me "everyone likes christmas" vibes (not just because homewarming is a Christmas parallel. More so- people like Christmas but not the camercilization & theatrics of it)
I think its more evident that Wally is terrified of Home in this update...... My theory is hes terrified of Home taking over him if he doesnt appease Home. When he keeps repeating the same lines over and over to other neighbors "I don't know how to do Homewarming with Home, and the Homewarming is tonight, and if I don't figure it out....I dont know what I will do....." Wally may be secretly warning his neighbors that if he doesnt make Home happy, that Home will take over his body and do somethibg awful...."I dont know what I'll do...." Could very well actually mean "I don't know what Home is going to do if its pissed!"
There 100% is or a least was, 10th neighbor & here's my proof. - The phone in the last update was missing two buttons. Thanks to the packaging we know the buttons were black and white. We know that Home is represented by the color white thanks to the safe button, but the black button on the safe is crossed out, which is odd when all the neighbor's phones have one. - This update added a new location to the neighborhood just outside the circle of the other residents, A clock tower. If it was just a silly decoration, why would Clown not reveal it at the very start? - In Sally's Halloween story she talks directly to us about a creature that eats residents that go outside at night, implying she's seen it happen. My current theory is that the 10th neighbor's favorite color was black & ran the town's clock tower. None of the neighbors, aside from Eddie have clocks, so it's important that someone keep the tower running. Unfortunately, they came to dispise the hell he was subject to due to his isolation & tried to escape, but he was eaten alive when he got to Sally's house.
Perhaps, whoever did run the clock tower was also in charge of the passage of time in Home. Also was Eddie wearing his watch, in the animated frames of the Homewarming special, because he wasn't wearing it in the live action segments. Could that mean that after what he saw, he started wearing a watch? Did he get the watch as a gift?
Gonna put my two sense in: Frank going from “Mr. Dear" to "Eddie" SCREAMS of a closeted gay relationship. Like, he calls him "Mr. Dear" in public so people don't think they're too close, but the minute he sees that Eddie's distressed, his worried husband instincts kick in and the mask slips just enough to try to snap Eddie out of it. But you also can tell he's still trying to keep the front up because he's almost whispering Eddie's name. Clown's already said that homophobia is gonna be a major theme in Welcome Home, and that really feels like our first big taste of it.
Honestly I reread the profiles again and they've added a LOT of details and speculation based on what was added to the merch and media sections, and something that stuck out prominently to me was that Frank and Julie's profiles now mention the idea that the Halloween story record hints at the two of them being a couple. I could see that being a case of forcing Julie to act as Frank's beard when combined with this Eddie evidence.
NAH i feel like Sally is gonna be the homophobic one....she's always the dramatic one....but it could be subversion of expectations....or the actual humans are the homophobic ones!
My theory is that the malevolent being who's attacking the neighbors is possibly bigotry or the neighbors' insecurities or personal issues made manifest. Someone else here mentioned that the interaction between Eddie and Frank gives off forbidden gay couple vibes, and another person mentioned Wally's possible dislike of the holidays due to being overwhelmed, partly due to being autistic. Clown mentioned that homophobia and mental health are major themes, so what if this threatening force is a result of the bigotry of its 70s-era audience who might've caught on to it all and started hating on the show due to its themes of acceptance and love. This hate the show started getting was probably what paved the way for the entity coming into existence and infecting the show and its inhabitants, starting with Home and using it and Wally to keep the other characters in check, basically forcing them to keep the happy, cheery perfect image up. Eventually it got worse and worse, and this eventually led to the show being cancelled and all its media being ruined due to all the hate. Or maybe this entity could also be the manifestation of the characters' insecurities and/or mental health issues going unchecked and not wanting it to be shown on TV for similar reasons to what I mentioned before. The 70s was an era that was still coming to accept certain aspects such as LGBT and mental health topics, so maybe the characters tried to hide their personal issues from their audience who might not accept them for who they were due to period-typical stigma and this only made it worse, so it all made itself manifest into a dark, hateful entity that tried to push down the issues even further by watching the characters through Home and trying to catch them at night. This whole project is probably an allegory for how bigoted influence or unchecked mental health issues can ruin what used to be beautiful, and make you feel unsafe in your own home. That's just my theory anyway. I feel like everything on the show including the dark entity could all be tulpas of some kind, since it's clear that Welcome Home, in a sense, is its own type of reality outside viewing audiences, so maybe all the attention it was getting and people feeling connected to it as though it were real allowed it to manifest on its own terms.
One of my favorite things about this update has to be the “single pea”. because at first it’s kinda funny, it’s just one singular pea! “Haha get its guys?! It’s just one single pea! That’s not enough for a person to eat and be satisfied! Cue that laugh track amiright?!?” But I know that she doesn’t show it in the video, but before everything goes nuts, Eddie was about to sit down on one of home’s love seats and take a well deserved rest [plate with single pea in lap]. But then he abruptly opens his eyes and the screen slowly turns red, and when he looks down, there is the pea. The pea is placed smack dab in the middle of the plate. *Resembling an eye.*
The other thing I noticed was how in the cookbook, it talks about how you can add other peas to the plate if you have FRIENDS with you. But even though Eddie’s at the party with all his friends, there’s still one pea. He was completely alone
@@berylanisoptera6727 That’s just sad. However, Home was there. Frank and Sally interacted with him, but it was like Eddie was in a whole other dimension where just Home was watching him. Theory: Eddie was mentally somewhere else, and Home was the only one that could see that, hence why we saw Home staring at him. When Frank and Sally came over, Eddie knew they were there, but he couldn’t answer in any way at all. We heard him mumble things like “…huh…? …Where…?-” he was asking himself what was happening. Also, I agree with you. Eddie was mentally alone. I think Home knew that Eddie was mentally somewhere else, but wasn’t entirely with him.
I feel like Wally’s cover of toyland is is meant to represent the neighborhood. Or maybe the show in general, something about the ‘once you cross its borders, you can never return again’ feels important in this context (like it’s hinting they can’t leave the neighborhood)
More than that I think the song is highlighting the fact that a line has been crossed between childlike innocence and the revelation of darker themes in a more explicit way. One thing that struck me about this latest update is how it paints Welcome Home as significantly less of the squeaky-clean kid-friendly Sesame Street clone it initially seemed to be. It's more solidly in Muppets territory now, with multiple blatant references to alcohol and tobacco products, the latter of which is even advertised with a marginally more kid-friendly tie-in product of a bubble pipe and Howdy's nephews even asking if they can smoke cigarettes too before instead being offered the Baby's First Addiction Gateway Product version. For me that commercial was actually one of the more disturbing things in the site update just for the fact that this kid's show did something I'd like to believe wouldn't fly with parents even in a more drug-positive era like the 70s. All in all, the mask is slipping off faster and faster, and the Toyland cover is our explicit confirmation that we're now in way too deep to ever go back to the seemingly-innocent initial impression Welcome Home tried to give us.
Yeah, lots of dark vibes in this recent update...... What I found very strange was Santa Claus in how he's portrayed in this world. He's less of a well-established jolly gift giver and more of an ominous figure that has to be bargained with in hopes of attracting him to bring blessings to your house. You would think with any joyous kid's show including Santa in it, Santa would be the most important and celebrated character between everyone in Home, and the moral of his character would inspire the residents to be good to one another. Nope. You hear Sally and Frank about to get in a fight over not singing lyrics right, almost all the neighbors have antagonistic opinions on who celebrates "Homewarming" the best, and oddest of all, Wally is not at all thrilled about the idea of Santa nor does Santa mention Wally....you know....THE MASCOT AND TITULAR CHARACTER OF THE SHOW....being the goodest little lad and deserving of the best gift of all or even helping the poor fellow find the meaning of "Homewarming" or what not. Instead, he expects Wally to feed him, not if he's good. Its no wonder Wally feels sad. Even Santa doesn't seem to appreciate him.
@@torytellstales that’s so fair! Santa is only mentioned outside of the show, also didn’t the Santa thing glitch when it got to Eddie? It’s probably just forshadowing to what happens to him, but still it could mean something else as well!
Can we talk about the video at the end on the second website featuring what happens to Eddie and how it kind of correlates to how a lot of these characters seem to be struggling mental health wise? Lately there seems to be a theme regarding metal health, trauma, and isolation regarding characters that become self aware: Wally, Eddie, and Sally. Wally is canonically autistic, and he is constantly struggling with feelings of isolation and loneliness from his peers. We constantly see him dissociating, and during the Halloween party video, we see him symbolically struggle to keep from having a meltdown. Sally is hyper aware of a monster stalking her town at night, and she is clearly terrified and hyper vigilent regarding it. And then there's Eddie. Eddie clearly struggles with anxiety, and from the frustrated outburst he has and the way he talks to himself, he also appears to have depression. The scariest part was at the end: when Eddie sees the pea on the plate (that thing looked like a deranged cartoon eye looking back at him), he has a full blown derealization episode (the hyper realistic food, Eddie's arms going from smooth, cartoonish arms to lumpy fabric ones, the surreal furniture, the demonic depiction of Home leering down at him, the pounding heartbeat in the background), and then Sally calls over Frank to ground him back into reality. The more hyper aware the characters become of the world around them, the more they are forced to expose their own mental health issues and trauma. I'm honestly starting to wonder if Home might be symbolic of childhood trauma and @buse, and that these are symbolically adults having to come to terms with childhood trauma. P.S....Even though she doesn't appear to be as self aware as the others, Poppy clearly appears to have a lot going on too mental health wise. She's agoraphobic and refuses to leave her house to the point where she has groceries delivered to her. She's also constantly terrified of the worse possible things happening and desperately tries to keep herself and those around her safe.
Also is there a good source that kind of rounds up all the things Clown has confirmed and stated about WH? Seeing lots of comments saying stuff like "this is about mental health" "Eddie and Wally are a canon couple"
I just remembered that Eddie was actually the forgetful one, as in he forgets things. In the commercial video he doesn't forget anything, but remembers that people did not call him.
Horror elements aside, Clown always outdoes himself with every update! I'm always in awe of how much content he creates just to build out the world! The dedication is insane!!
@@masochistz I completely agree! I can never guess what's coming next in the story or what new puzzles are coming our way. I also appreciate that they're fairly simple to solve.
I think that "don't forget to wave up high" / "don't forget to wave down below" is a huge reference to "as above, so below" which has been a huge motif throughout the story so far. My first thoughts were 1. the story is getting darker and we not only know about down below, we are now starting to really see it and, 2. I'm wondering depending on which sign off it is, it is signaling whether we are "above" or "below" in the sense of seeing welcome home through hopeless eyes vs. seeing the dark truth of the show. So excited for whenever the next update will be so we can know more!
I agree with the theory that at least Eddie has a human soul. Be it his old puppeteer or just an employee and he feels like there's something greatly wrong but even he doesn't know what/why yet. He was turned into a puppet, hence why he doesn't know where he's from, slowly became aware on how bleak it looked for him and how he wasn't actually fine and kept himself busy to stay sane and keep up appearances and somehow sitting in Wally's chair and being stared down by home snapped something. Was it home trying to keep him in line? The Toyland song with the "never return again" leads me to believe that Eddies just stuck there 😭 so we might lose Eddie from the site in the next coming updates,, but he might still be the one sending mail through the black ooze??? Idk this is a ramble of ideas
I suppose this is a theory: If you notice, of all the neighbors, Eddie doesn't have Homewarming decor on his building and all the commercials are about the other neighbors and not Eddie. And in the commercials it feels like the characters are reading off scripts like actors and not puppeteers y'know? And when Eddie showed up in that part in the ending of the secret video, Sally almost sounds like surprise to see Eddie. Like he wasn't suppose to be in this episode which in Eddie's mind was like ...unaware they were doing an episode and just expected a normal Homewarming celebration... Hence why he was like, " where's my friends? Where's their mail?" Anyway, I point all of this out because... What if Home is axing out all the characters that don't sale for the public? Like what if Eddie's "character" in the sense of the show doesn't cut it and now Home is trying to take Eddie out for the betterment of the show... I mean... Let's take a quick glance at the ...hot dog... symbolism. We can all agree its ... Off....and kinda ...murder coded. What if that's a warning? Or worse... An example? Also mini theory: what if the single pea is not actually a pea but the meds that Wally was promoted prior to Eddie's panic attack... But disguised as a pea for the audience? Hence why Eddie's perspective warps... But thats just a hunch ... A mini hunch ~ Anyway, I feel like Home is the symbolism for the horrors of capitalism and how it ruins the greatest of things like this peaceful, innocent place ... Plus Marlo does have a little Home logo... Idk ... Kinda sus... Idk maybe my theory is out there but if Clown wants to adress Homophobic topics, Autism, and other more serious topics in his creation- which beautifully done btw, I feel he could touch or address how capitalism can be a horror in society... Idk but thats a theory ~ a Welcome Home theory, thanks for reading ~ (I had to... In honor for the legend himself)
Theory: The neighborhood is supposed to be a happy place, presumably right? So maybe everything seems normal to the characters until they act or feel out of character, if that makes sense? Like, Eddie was upset that he couldn't do his job and everything was normal for him until he accepted that he was taking a break, which is out of character for him and caused his waking paralysis peering through the veil moment (???). Its giving fey wilds, its giving 'trapped in a happy haze forever to block out anything unpleasant', its giving 'we have been living in the same moments over and over for years and years and can only briefly see the truth of our situation (forgotten, abandoned, sustained through unnatural means) before being dragged back'. Am i making sense?? like i think the reason we can see through wallys eyes and stop watching when someone calls his name because whatever sustains the neighborhood keeps the characters locked in a haze of 'normal' or trying to keep them happy and in character. When they are not it has less of a hold on them or has more trouble warping their perspective to one of 'im still doing the show which is just my life where disembodied/narrating voices are normal and we do the same thing every day', so they can see the puppetry and the props and the realness of it all, not some cartoon (or its home as the evil entity checking it like 'hey bud why aren't you happy i specifically requested it') but wally doesnt know what makes him happy and he learns something new everyday so how do you make something like that happy and hazy, the boy disassociates and sees the realness every other tuesday. idk im trying to make a cake out of breadcrumbs, please understand my rambles i just got off night shift and i am not brainign enough to word goodly. its 6am ive not slept this whole theory is assuming that: 1) the charcaters are just THE characters from the show perpetually performing for an unknowable audience like they did when they had a show 2) all the scenes in the holiday special with Eddies puppet hands are not part of the original special (who would make a holiday special for tv broadcast about a beloved cartoon having a paralysis panic attack jumping between animated and puppet???? plus the angle is not something you would do for a show its like poorly placed servalince camera or an unboxing video, its not his eyes it would move with his head and he looked away 2-3 times) 3) frank and sally were the others who have given us insider clues right? sally with the halloween story and idk about frank but it feels right, and its so funny that those two were the ones checking on eddie, right? the two whove been thought to be the only others trying to communicate with us aside from wally?? checking on the newest puppet to break through the veil and seen something freaky also also the red light looked like fire or a flashlight. A hint as to what really happened to the neighborhood or is someone looking for something outside of home also also also!! wally sounded so bored with homewarming, which is what got me on the 'fey wild loop' train of thought, like if you are the most aware person in your group you would be so bored doing the same thing every season and he sounded excited to hang with barnaby making me think he doesnt really get to be with his friends aside from these moments of recreating the show thank you if you dared to read my word vomit and try to make sense of it. so sorry you had to see this but ive gone too deep, i cant erase it now, i need someone else to be afflicted with my flavor of brain rot please and thank you also also also also!!!! i like your outfit, those earrings are incredible
The website update is CRAZY!!!!! I had a feeling that the little symbols around the site meant something. I also tried clicking on them thinking they were links to secret videos to no avail. It honestly wasn’t untrue I saw it on Reddit that I figured out they were for a cipher. Also poor Eddie. You might have noticed in the Homewarming story that even though the narrator says that ALL the neighbors were accounted for, it’s not true because Wally and Barnaby didn’t talk to Eddie. The Welcome Home Wishbook Radio Recording cuts off at Eddie’s name. Eddie’s face even happens to be on the image with the cipher wheel. There seems to be a lot of symbolism with the single pea. Even the part that says if you add more peas not to put them too close together. Also on the secret website, when I saw the initial W, I immediately thought Wally. But the messages mention Wally as if it’s another person. This could go along with what people call the ‘Dual Wally’ theory. There’s so many interesting things in this update to talk about!
I think there’s definitely something off about Frank and now Eddie Between the way Frank addresses Eddie at the end of the commercials (where he only refers to him by his first name in a whisper which is strange) to the fact that the bugs (Frank’s specialty) led to pages that weren’t managed or wanted by the WHRP and now this new site is called “away from prying eyes” it’s beginning to paint a bigger picture that maybe some puppets are almost resisting against this greater being, “Home” Also not to mention, if Eddie does have a human soul, which is super possible and very likely, there’s also the “Scopophobia” image of Frank (which would normally not be canon, but the site specifically addresses it so it does seem to be an exception to Clown’s rule) that depicts him with *human hands* which could imply he also has a human soul (a connection between the two) Also another connection between the two, they’re a canon couple, so that could also be influencing how they now both seem to be outcasted/standouts in the greater scheme of things in the neighborhood TL;DR: there’s some kind of connection between Frank and Eddie and it’s awfully suspicious
wait actually canon or just heavily implied? like has clown said theyre dating in canon orrr? /genq i havent been keeping up as much with wh so some clarification would be nice ^^
@@venus_rivers I believe clown has said they’re a canon relationship but I’m not sure how much they’ll show within the actual experience other than the pair being heavily implied I could be wrong but I’m like 99% sure they said somewhere that those two were canon
@@venus_rivers clown said that part of the themes in the expiration will be homophobia, and considering that clown drew these two in romantic situations before (like having matching rings, being each other's valentines and other cute stuff like that) I believe it will be about them
There is probably some symbolism of the only pea on the plate, but one thing that sticks out to my mind is that the plate and pea form a shape of an eye.
Maybe it also represents the isolation. Like eyes r the symbol of sinister things happening, hence away from prying eyes. So it would make sense that the singular pea, a symbol for eyes, is linked to isolation
I've had this theory for a while that Frank knows what's going on but isn't trying to alert anyone that he knows. I think that Frank is the one that wrote the letter to the WHRP and Eddie is the one that sent it out. Now with the update and with the "away from prying eyes", I definitely think that Eddie is starting to snap out of it. I think that Eddie is starting to become aware of what's going on and that the mask is starting to slip for him. Hope nothing happens to him though, because he's one of my favorites Also, has ANYONE else noticed that when Wally sings "Toyland", he sings a different lyric that's written in the transcripts? Wally sings "when you've settled my dears and come in just as I" but in the transcripts, it's written down as "when you grow up my dears and are as old as I". I honestly have no idea if it means anything or not but it's definitely interesting.
Probably that the, "...are as old as I" is was changed because Wally and by extension Home don't see themselves as old or anything, so the, "...come in just as I" could be him saying, come in and you'll be just like us.
I think the phone might be a more reliable way for Wally to communicate with us than just a scattering of recordings. Also, with the Christmas update so late, it makes me wonder about Easter, which is at the end of this month (day before my birthday, btw). We probably won't get an update for that holiday, but maybe that's for the better, seeing how people are predicting that things are about to go to the South Pole from here.
I think that whatever weird sounds or voices are being played near the end of the "Homewarming Storybook Record" need to be played reversed. When that happens, I get the feeling it will reveal something that is clear enough to understand. So basically just play that audio file reversed and it is possible whatever those sounds are might be deciphered, cause aside from the saxophone it sounds like something is being played reversed.
Ok so I was out of the Welcome Home universe until the Halloween update (and then kinda skipped to this one) and let me just say: THE PHONE EMPLOYEE DIED??? How much am I missing here
Theory time! in the book recording, none of wally’s gifts to home have made Home happy. wally has been making… mm how do you say… OFFERINGS to home, and Home isn’t… how do i put this… SATISFIED with the SACRIFISES Wally has made?! ARE THE STRINGS COMING TOGETHER FOR ANYONE ELSE?! Guys, this means, no AFFIRMS that Wally is the faithful servant to the real villian, HOME. and that beast sally talked about in the halloween update? what if that is wally? the black goo turns him into some sort of beast at night, and he searches for sacrifises?! IT MAKES SENSE!!!!!
I haven't really seen enough to say for sure about the faithful servant part tbh. There's a chance that he could be sort of an unwilling servant who's just scared to make Home unhappy? It's hard to tell
I think Wally is more like the glue thats holding this peaceful loving neighborhood together. Its more evident that Wally and Home seem to have some kind of disconnected chemistry in this update, since Wally clearly doesn't know how to communicate with or tell how Home is actually feeling. In fact, Barnaby seems to understand Home the most, and its kind of odd considering Barnaby doesn't live in Home.
From what I got from it, home appears to definitely either be the main antagonist, or somehow connected to Marlow (the toy company that has a house with an eye as its logo). In this case, I don't think Wally is a villain so much as we are not getting the entire picture. I believe Wally is being manipulated and/or abused by the entity mascarading as Home (I.e. if he does things for Home, home will be his friend. If Wally doesn't, he risks loosing Home ( and his literal home) or maybe worse).
@@torytellstalesI think Wally has a hard time understanding Home because he’s autistic, and a big autistic trait is having an especially hard time understanding none-explicit communication (which Wally has been shown having a hard time understanding in the past, like sayings/metaphors and even jokes) And I would say the way Home communicates can be pretty vague
I wonder if Eddie intentionally mixes up the mail so he doesn't have time to think about being stuck there forever? (It's been theorized that he was once human.)
THEORY: What if the puppets are the ones sending the substances and don’t want the show to come back because they were poorly treated or @bU$ed? Then the one sending could want the show back instead, like Wally!
I am so happy the website is back. Going back to one of my earlier theories, the fact that the WHRP have gotten rid of all of the bugs and almost all of the hidden secrets make me think that it was one person trying to communicate with the neighbors by sending Wally instructions(Possibly a lower-level employee). The people in charge must've found out and shut it down straight away.
In all of the updates it shows a timeline of events the links are always from the “puppets” world about the new update and usually gives the update content more depth. I love that Wally himself isn’t threatening if anything he is just lonely despite being surrounded by people, I like that this may support the idea that Wally is the only one truly alive.
Little theory that I had : What if Home wants to punish Frank for trying to communicate with our realm ? I believe in the theory of Mattpat that it was most likely Frank who was sending the video with the bugs. And what neighbor might cause the most reaction to Frank if hurt or worse ? That dear Eddie (and Julie obviously). If we look at the third episode of Eddie, we can see he had to make some tic-tac-toes to do something. Hours seem to pass during each segment. So why no neighbor go check on him ? Whether to play or remind him of the festivities. Heck I believe that he hasn't found Sally outside, he would have spent the evening at the post office. As if Home wants him away for the plot. And that the entity isn't happy with him being there. We can see how it affects Frank, and maybe if our dear couple goes too far... I'm afraid our dear mailman might be out of the plot. Which is a shame because Eddie is my favorite (with Frank as close second and Wally third). So see the trio suffer...
I did noticed that every update seems to have a theme or focus on one character - the bug update being frank, Halloween being Sally, and now Christmas for Eddie - I suspect that Barnaby might be next in the spot light because of all the new bits hinting at things he’s affiliated with, despite the finale of this update being focused on Eddie However, if the next update is spring related, then it might be Julie since she mentioned that she goes into hibernation and will wake up in the spring time
UH, UH, YOU DIDNT SEE THAT!!!HAHAHA JK. I started collecting the rainbow high dolls recently🤣 They’re so cute lol! I’ve had my MLP stuff for a whileeee and I low key wanna continue collecting😂
I FOUND SOMETHING So i was going through the website while listening to the video and the little line of the characters heads that separates pages everyones looking to the left or right except for wally whos looking right at you
ALRIGHT, HERE GOES MY THEORY (WARING: LAAARGE TEXT): So... slowly characters are becoming aware of what's going on 1 by 1. The obvious first is Wally, with the answers in from of drawings on the old guestbook, his audios on the old site, his calls to the toy phone, his signature in some of the summer update's employee site papers; even more when you look back to the bugs' videos where he seems to disaotiate a lot, even with people around, like the next character: Eddie Oh my, What to say about him in this update? He's known for forgetting stuff, but on his intermitions during the commertials he seems to remember, at least his whole day and the last one, he acts really anxious when he doesn't get any kind of message from his friends, and has nothing to do cause his WORK (basically all that he does) needs other people's colaboration, but no one came. When he leaves and finds his friends plan he's more relaxed now that everything is clear, and he can think about nothing and give himself a well-deserved rest. But he started to notice how everything is weird and mostly fake, he notices he's a puppet and that home is watching him through the pea plate and his own windows/eyes. Besides all that Eddie has always been in my mind as a character that will stand up because, as the website says: "All of the information found on this website was extracted from documents that had been uncovered in brightly colored envelopes" "Since this website’s creation and our most recent burst in attention, we have been graciously given more material by our unknown source. We have also begun receiving large boxes smothered in similar substances." Eddie is the literal MAILMAN he's like our only option, someone else could have send it to the WHRP team but Eddie is still there sending it through mail he has to be aware of what he's doing/is becoming aware/isn't aware but will be soon. That what the hints say at least. Next we have Sally. She notced something was going on when noticing the creature that lurks in the nigth (probably is whoever that lives on the clock tower as another comment says), that she's always been watched, plus, she seems to be the only one that is awake during night, thus by being a star, so weird thing might happen late hours, let's not forget that in the old site someone asked if the entity could turn SALLY'S photo to see what it could be capable of. Next would be Frank, I know we don't have that much info from him, but he seems like his awareness is slowly showing. Frist, (idk if someone else remmebers) but on the summer update, with the employee's corrupted site, there was a letter with Frank's handwriting and probaly signed to his name (can't really recal). Second, in the song "Bug-a-Bye and Goodnight: An Ode to Hibernation" he sings this: "…And I’ll be inside of my home/Regardless of how I feel you need to go away/I’ll be the one to tell you, you just can’t stay/Thankfully I lack a sentimental sensibility/I enjoy my Methodical Mundanity/Where all that’s left is… Me" when he sings this he sounds distraught, noticing how alone he is without his defining mark that are bugs. Plus when he broke by seeing Eddie like that at the end of the commertials video. My conclution is that if you are not doing what you are supposed to, or if your defining trait is somehow canceled (Eddie resting, Frank going through Winter without bugs, Sally being awake at night, Wally's strugle to know what home wants when he's his own home and secondary campanion) the "Entity" will take care of that by making you noticing stuff you aren't supposed to, making you feel ill (like the employees), alone and lost in a place that (by whatever is reason in the actual lore) you know isn't your Home, your safe space. You are on the "Entity's" home, a home you can't escape, and it might drive you crazy, but there might be a chance to escape and make people notice that you are still there, in Home. The characters that became aware try to comunicate, through the site itself, audios with distortions, hidden videos in old TV's from thir era, mail and sending stuff related to them like merch and toys If you ask me, I think the next characer on gaining awareness is Juile, and the last one could be neither Barnaby or Howdy (they're so in character always, never showing signs of anything). Poppy is in the middle, her nature is being nervious, so who knows.
I dunno your thoughts about dream interpretation but seeing someone eating peas in a dream indicates several different kinds of scenarios , some of which express health and well-being, while seeing eating peas in a dream indicates freedom from illness in real life. I'm thinking maybe this could be almost a Logan's run type of situation, or even that when someone DOES become aware of the odd things they end up getting the stitches ripped out of them.... 🏠
This update seems to put a little focus on Eddie in my opinion. During the wish book audio it cuts off right as its about to talk about Eddie. Also duing the Home warming story book record, Wally and Barnaby go talk to everyone EXCEPT EDDIE. And during the video on the away from prying eyes website, the also seems to be a focus on Eddie. With the clips with puppets being from his point of view, and the ending animation. Oh and also with Eddie being the one holding the decoding dial on the back of the cereal box.
Not the wally outfit- (Jk you look amazing!) And also I stalked your Channel so much yesterday waiting for a vid so I’m excited to finally be able to watch!!!
Wait what if Wally is in an endless loop and he has to relive the episodes over and over again maybe that’s why he’s practicing his singing he’s preparing to relive the episode again BUT that’s just a theory (I miss matpat)
DUDE!!! it makes sense. the recordings with us seeing through his eyes, he can zone out until his cue (people saying his name). and he was so excited about Barnaby coming over, (even though the rest of his call was monotone apart from the end when he started hustling to finish the call) he probably doesn't get to talk to Barnaby very much if the other episode snippets are any indication :(
Honestly, I can't stop thinking about Home... I thought about the word "Homewarming" and couldn't help but realize how similar it sounds to "heartwarming.." And in the Neighborhood page, it said "Home is where the heart is.." We also see how there is a portal to something behind Home, and that is what was haunting the employee from the "staffs only" website.. There were eyes with spirals everywhere.. So I'm pretty sure Home is a source to something, maybe that something is the cause of Eddie's "freaking out" and the reason of the characters reaching out to us through the website... Eddie is going through something, Frank left bugs all over the website, Sally with her Halloween story, and Wally by directly looking and talking to us. In that moment of the commercial, Home's pupils look up at the camera.. It got me wondering if Home is also aware of us, the viewers? Kinda far fetched but something to think about..
My theory is sweet and short..but I think the new cereal is laced with Dr^g$. My reasoning? I’m the part of the video where Sally and Frank argue, they get quite violent, which is a side effect of Dr^g$, obvi. And the scene where Sally is talking to Eddie, you can hear her twitching/stuttering. Also a side effect. And then there’s the 3-5 minute long part where Eddie is just tripping out and you can kinda hear him *try* to talk but not very well. I think this may be Eddie going through withdrawal after figuring it out or maybe just not eating the cereal. There’s also that scene btw with Wally not being able to sleep idk if that’s a side effect but there’s that too…and the puppets are wayyy to happy and kinda desperate to eat it when talking abt/advertising the cereal, too. Idk, just my theory. I’m also super proud of myself when barnaby asked who was at the door and I jokingly said ur mom and it was his mom lmao. BY THE WAY THIS IS AN EDIT,. But does anyone know French and what the dude in howdy’s song was saying??
I interpreted Wally being prescribed sleeping pills as the network/Home/entity keeping Wally "asleep", as in keeping him innocent and naive from whats happening in universe or outside of the show. As well as possibly keeping him calm and compliant and to not retaliate when he starts to experience negative emotions. But we all know from the actual website audio files that Wally knows that something is up. He knows something is wrong.
love the outfit, i recently discover your channel and really enjoy!!! Honestly feel so bad for Wally that man so lonely. I think about what happened with Eddie is, as soon he sat down to rest somethying make him uncomfortoble that make him has an panic attack. He zone out of his character couldnt beebn able to move or talk until Frank calm him down.
This is weird but when i first opened the website for the new update i scrolled all the way down and for a sec i thought howdy was slowly wiggling, when i was on that same page notice how everyone is smiling except frank and before i found your channel i watched matpat make a theory on the welcome home but he said that frank could be a spy something like that he also has human hands in one photo he also said that frank is the one throwing tomatoes at barnaby but i believe its frank and JULIE because there is a audio from frank and julie called tomatoes.
This. Update. BROKE EVERYBODY!!!! I want a Mother's Day recording with Eddie TRYING to remember his mom!!! *cries and sobs* EDDIE!!!! He DID NOT DESERVE THAT!!! #JUSTICEFOREDDIEDEAR Okay so I have A LOT thinking about this. 1. This might be a Joey Drew/Bendy situation where Playfellow brought their creations to life and the Demonic Goo is using Home as its Vessel. Which it then uses Wally as a mouth piece/conduit when it needs to. 2. I think that some former employee FROM Playfellow is working on the restoration team but has not revealed who they are and they saw the bugs, saw the strange videos and recordings, and KNEW the Neighbors were trying to contact the outside world and whomever the person is needs to stop them before they reveal what REALLY happened with Welcome Home. But W is now going to try and help in the few ways they can. 3. Home might be bringing people from our world into its world and turning them into new neighbors(or actually turning them into the Neighbors Wally knows, thus body horror and gore). 4. There might be a Peter Pan reference/connection in this with Wally staying and the Neighbors leaving, this comes from another person's theory that all the neighbors but Wally left and now cannot return(listen to Toyland and the lyrics actually mean once you leave Home's boarders, once you leave the forest probably, you are trapped out and cannot return). So Wally is Peter Pan who doesn't want to leave and the other Neighbors are the "Lost Neighbors"(calling them this because of Sally, Julie, and Poppy being female presenting most often) and they all left or were taken leaving Wally and Home alone. So Home, as Tinkerbell in a sense, grants/grabs people from our world with the goo because note the goo isn't killing people just making them sick. Well what if this sickness puts them in a coma-like state so Home can much more easily bring them to this puppet world and turn them into Wally's next new friends, or his same old friends. 5. In Howdy's song with his family I do NOT believe those are their real names. We HAVE names for some of Howdy's siblings, cousins and one aunt and none of them are Greeting names like in Howdy's Homewarming song, so I believe that the Bug Audio is the truth and these song names are made up by Marlo and Playfellow to keep the truth hidden more. (also an added thing I LOVE Howdy's nephews and want to adopt them!) I have so much more but this comment's so long so I'll leave the rest for later. Thank you for listening to my theories, have a great day!
Frank's pure concern for Eddie at the end of that video made me cry. For me, it instantly added an extra level of dimension and nuance to both Frank and Eddie's characters. I love them both, and also Julie.
I do not think it's home. It's *US*, fallow me along. In the las update we saw through Wally's eyes, his day in the neighbrohood and interactions with the other neighbors. Thats wen he asaked us about are opinion on the neighbrohood and residents, in a more vogue manner. He doesn't know, what we saw as he was clearly dissociating hard in those moments, shown by how the other neighbros were calling out for Wally. Same thing happend with Eddie as we too saw through him. We are possessing them, whenever we want to make contact(employed clicking through channels and the employed messing with the phone). Think about it, are first interaction with Wally he was isolated fromt the other neighbros and he was alone, audios later of further contact we saw through his eyes. Eddie was alone by himself just like Wally, he was isolated from the others as no one was going to his post office and there was no one outside ether. Eddie was alone when we interacted with him for the first time, moments later we too saw through his eyes
This might be a huge stretch, but I think I’m gonna stick with it.. no matter how wrong and way off I am but I think the person behind the prying eyes could be a cast member or a puppeteer.. maybe Wallys puppeteer hence the W initial
I've been listening to Wally singing "Toyland" and the transcripts just aren't... correct? Like idk if its just me but Wally does NOT sing "When you've grown up, my dears / And are as old as I"...
I honestly need to see the recipes now that you've mentioned them (and they are REAL !) Like you, I squealed instantly when you said you made some recipes from Welcome Home ! Thank you for all that !
I saw someone on tumblr theorize about the loveseat that's very prevalent throughout Welcome home. In this post they theorized how the loveseat was possibly the heart of Home (OP also mentioned how nobody seems to question the amount of heart imagery there is which I completely agree.) If the loveseat is possibly Homes heart it would explain why Eddie seemed to be going through an existential crisis when he sat in it. But I'm also not very good at theorizing so I could be totally wrong! (OP wrote this in a better way...)
Maybe I'm going crazy, but on the characters page, the "Welcome Home" letters have random splotches on them, like they're slightly dirty? It's most well seen on the top of the "L"
On that “Marlowe Records” thing, Christopher Marlowe was a (very hot and gay) friend of Shakepeare’s who wrote Doctor Faustus, a play about a man making a deal with the devil. doubt it’s key info or anything but it’s a cute reference to make
What if the anonymous person sending the crew packages is Eddie? He is the mailman, and at the end of this update, he seems to gain consciousness that there are different planes of existence.
I HAVE A THEORY Y'ALL. Okay, so, the website "away from prying eyes" is proof that something darker is going on with Home. We all know that Home is sentient, and Wally and Barnaby seem to be the only ones who understand it. Wally's signature chair is in the lost commercial, and Eddie sits on it and begins to see and hear things. What if that chair is some sort of way to directly see the truth of Welcome Home or talk to Home? Really stupid, but it could be possible- and that could tie into how Wally understands Home so well. Not to mention Wally seems afraid of Home himself. Or just BEING in Home could trigger something in their minds- but why hasn’t it triggered anyone else’s?Ugh. The lore. THE LORE.
nah, i got that same thing at 5:10 !!! maybe we just had the same glitches on our computers, and i thought it was just my computer glitching too, but seeing yours do it too... idk...
thank God people started making videos about this, I poked around the update and couldn't find anything 😭 (edit: I was also poking around at 2 am and didn't have headphones so I couldn't listen to the new recordings)
@@MollyDollyy774 A crushed hot dog with what appears to be a splash of blood (or ketchup that resembles it" on the wall behind it. The caption is "It's A Dog! There it is!"
Ok what if in future updates the same thing happens to other characters? Like they all kinda start becoming more aware of the darkness of the neighborhood? That’s just how I kinda of viewed what happened to Eddie, but I’m not a professional theorist but that’s just my thoughts. And can we talk about thoses ear rings?!?! I might make some too they’re so cute!!!
If you notice, there are a lot of references to apples. In the biblical lore although the Bible specifically doesn’t say what kind of fruit the tree of knowledge had it still represented God’s sovereignty but also the knowledge of good and bad. As we know, Adam and Eve got lured because also of an evil entity that used a puppet (a snake) to make them believe that God wasn’t a good ruler and that he was hiding many away from them many things. If they ate from that tree, their eyes would be “opened” and be like God. Which of course turned out to be a lie. In a similar sense and manner, the Apple in Welcome Home is a reference to forbidden knowledge. What kind of knowledge? Possibly Wally trying to warn the public out there of the way Home works and possibly was the one responsible for the disappearance of the human original cast members from the show. Causing it to close and shut down in 1974. That is why there are eyes everywhere because Wally knows you are getting deeper and deeper into the forbidden world or knowledge that House is not good and trying to make you and the other puppets believe they are hallucinating. Because their former human memories are coming back again. So, as you being the spectator with your curiosity to know the unknown maybe you’ll receive answers but what you might see may disturb you or simply leave you in shock.
I keep thinking all of the characters are trapped inside of their world, trying to communicate through various means (bugs on the site, the commercials, recordings, Wally's drawings and calls). Maybe something happened - either it was Home all along or the creature from the woods Sally talked about... And so they've been trapped with something incredibly dangerous torturing them.
I think I found the plate from the single pea on a plate recipe, it looks to be a modded international tablesworks 7774. whats interesting is the original design has a red house on it but the pea plate is blank. It might just be for looks but its something to think about.
I honestly love these videos SO MUCH, because every time the website has updated and I have taken a little looksie around I'm always too blind to find the things that everyone is talking about. It's kind of sad-- ;;
I love Welcome Home so much! I have been trying to find the Website and videos but can't. I don't know why. Does anyone have the link? Thank You so, much!
Just a thought for the heartbeat in the video, in February last year when welcome home was first a thing, the valentines update had a real heart in it. (I may be mistaken)
my theory is that the puppets need a purpose and become VERY destressed if they are unable to fulfill it: just like how eddie didn't know what to do with himself without any mail to deliver and became REALLY destressed once he saw that everyone was fine without him. they need to do what their characters were designed for or they simply loose themselves.
My theory: After Sally and Frank "woke up" and realized that not everything was perfect, it started a chain reaction that now has reached Eddie. And its like what we are seeing now is happening in the past, if that makes sense? In simplar terms: The main puppet plot is happening in the past, ehich is affecting the website as all the "awakened" neighbors (ie Sally, Frank, and Eddie) are placing the bugs and little drawings all over, leading us to eventually set them free.
THE WEBSITE'S SO LAGGYYY TWT...anyway theory: What is instead of Wally being like a cult leader and worshipping home what if home is like an eye for Wally like home can make wally look at ppl
He clearly feels uncomfortable, but perhaps it's related to the story?
It's hard to know
@@hannahhybrid8075 as someone who on The daily is around people with autism I can confirm this is completely true
When he keeps repeating the same lines over and over to other neighbors "I don't know how to do Homewarming with Home, and the Homewarming is tonight, and if I don't figure it out....I dont know what I will do....."
Wally may be secretly warning his neighbors that if he doesnt make Home happy, that Home will take over his body and do somethibg awful...."I dont know what I'll do...." Could very well actually mean "I don't know what Home is going to do if its pissed!"
Jesus, yeah, that’s an awesome theory.
I did not even notice the clock tower. Maybe the 10th neighbor tried to tell people something was wrong and got hurt or even escaped.
I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING
What if the black button represents the black mass underneath Home? The monster possessing Home and Wally?
Perhaps, whoever did run the clock tower was also in charge of the passage of time in Home. Also was Eddie wearing his watch, in the animated frames of the Homewarming special, because he wasn't wearing it in the live action segments. Could that mean that after what he saw, he started wearing a watch? Did he get the watch as a gift?
The clock tower was the first thing I noticed!
@@EeveePrincessXDi knew it didn't match up! it made no sense!
In the bug emergency audio Eddie calls Frank by his first name on accident and has a mini heart attack about it. There's something going here...
That makes so much sense!
Holy shit
@@i_draw_whatever18that’s what I said to myself too 😂
This has got to be one of my favorite discoveries/theories yet because the way you explain it all goes perfectly with eachother and it makes sense
This is such a good theory holy crap
One of my favorite things about this update has to be the “single pea”.
because at first it’s kinda funny, it’s just one singular pea! “Haha get its guys?! It’s just one single pea! That’s not enough for a person to eat and be satisfied! Cue that laugh track amiright?!?”
But I know that she doesn’t show it in the video, but before everything goes nuts, Eddie was about to sit down on one of home’s love seats and take a well deserved rest [plate with single pea in lap]. But then he abruptly opens his eyes and the screen slowly turns red, and when he looks down, there is the pea. The pea is placed smack dab in the middle of the plate.
*Resembling an eye.*
I’m gonna pee my bed rn
@@xionelectra **i’m going to pea my bed rn*
HOLLY SHIT I DIDN'T EVEN THINK ABOUT THAT.
That's so smart! I love that music is involved!
@@EeveePrincessXD that actually makes a lot of sense!
Okay the concern from Frank when Eddie wasn't responding to him got me
It was so sad omg😭
Bro I was fricking crying for 6-11 minutes and had to call my friend and go on a walk with them for comfort. ;-;
Not the husbands…😭
Hey, where was it confirmed Wally is autistic? I'm guessing by the creator, but where specifically was it stated? A tweet, a social media post, etc.?
Also is there a good source that kind of rounds up all the things Clown has confirmed and stated about WH? Seeing lots of comments saying stuff like "this is about mental health" "Eddie and Wally are a canon couple"
I just remembered that Eddie was actually the forgetful one, as in he forgets things. In the commercial video he doesn't forget anything, but remembers that people did not call him.
Horror elements aside, Clown always outdoes himself with every update! I'm always in awe of how much content he creates just to build out the world! The dedication is insane!!
Ikr
he really does, I love his unpredictability in every update even though it’s a pain to try n solve it /lh 😭
I can’t help but think being hugged by a front door hurts more than home intended 😂
You’re probably right🤣
I agree with the theory that at least Eddie has a human soul.
And the fact that Eddie is always forgetful helps the fact that he can't remember much.
not my poor boy!
My goodness he is THE MAILMAN WHY DID THIS NEVER OCCUR TO ME?!
I suppose this is a theory:
If you notice, of all the neighbors, Eddie doesn't have Homewarming decor on his building and all the commercials are about the other neighbors and not Eddie. Where's their mail?"
Anyway, I point all of this out because...
A mini hunch ~
Anyway, I feel like Home is the symbolism for the horrors of capitalism and how it ruins the greatest of things like this peaceful, innocent place ...
"thank you Twitter" first time i can think of someone genuinely saying this
😂😂😂😂
BAHAHA🤣
When they are not it has less of a hold on them or has more trouble warping their perspective to one of 'im still doing the show which is just my life where disembodied/narrating voices are normal and we do the same thing every day', so they can see the puppetry and the props and the realness of it all, not some cartoon (or its home as the evil entity checking it like 'hey bud why aren't you happy i specifically requested it')
but wally doesnt know what makes him happy and he learns something new everyday so how do you make something like that happy and hazy, the boy disassociates and sees the realness every other tuesday. idk im trying to make a cake out of breadcrumbs,
please understand my rambles i just got off night shift and i am not brainign enough to word goodly. its 6am ive not slept
this whole theory is assuming that:
1) the charcaters are just THE characters from the show perpetually performing for an unknowable audience like they did when they had a show
2) all the scenes in the holiday special with Eddies puppet hands are not part of the original special (who would make a holiday special for tv broadcast about a beloved cartoon having a paralysis panic attack jumping between animated and puppet???? plus the angle is not something you would do for a show its like poorly placed servalince camera or an unboxing video, its not his eyes it would move with his head and he looked away 2-3 times)
3) frank and sally were the others who have given us insider clues right? sally with the halloween story and idk about frank but it feels right, and its so funny that those two were the ones checking on eddie, right? the two whove been thought to be the only others trying to communicate with us aside from wally?? checking on the newest puppet to break through the veil and seen something freaky
also also the red light looked like fire or a flashlight. A hint as to what really happened to the neighborhood or is someone looking for something outside of home
also also also!! wally sounded so bored with homewarming, which is what got me on the 'fey wild loop' train of thought, like if you are the most aware person in your group you would be so bored doing the same thing every season and he sounded excited to hang with barnaby making me think he doesnt really get to be with his friends aside from these moments of recreating the show
thank you if you dared to read my word vomit and try to make sense of it. so sorry you had to see this but ive gone too deep, i cant erase it now, i need someone else to be afflicted with my flavor of brain rot please and thank you
also also also also!!!! i like your outfit, those earrings are incredible
Also, in the commercial short story when the narrator says “everyone was finally here!” Poppy isn’t there at the Homewarming party
The single pea sorta looks like an eye….. suspicious??
@@alexawatchingyoutubeNOOOOO, NOT THE LOVELY MOM FRIEND WHO EVERYONE LOVES! Where is she? :(
I think there’s definitely something off about Frank and now Eddie
Between the way Frank addresses Eddie at the end of the commercials (where he only refers to him by his first name in a whisper which is strange) to the fact that the bugs (Frank’s specialty) led to pages that weren’t managed or wanted by the WHRP and now this new site is called “away from prying eyes” it’s beginning to paint a bigger picture that maybe some puppets are almost resisting against this greater being, “Home”
Also not to mention, if Eddie does have a human soul, which is super possible and very likely, there’s also the “Scopophobia” image of Frank (which would normally not be canon, but the site specifically addresses it so it does seem to be an exception to Clown’s rule) that depicts him with *human hands* which could imply he also has a human soul (a connection between the two)
Also another connection between the two, they’re a canon couple, so that could also be influencing how they now both seem to be outcasted/standouts in the greater scheme of things in the neighborhood
TL;DR: there’s some kind of connection between Frank and Eddie and it’s awfully suspicious
Home-o-sexuals
The connection between those two is a rainbow one 🤭
wait actually canon or just heavily implied? like has clown said theyre dating in canon orrr? /genq
i havent been keeping up as much with wh so some clarification would be nice ^^
@@venus_rivers I believe clown has said they’re a canon relationship but I’m not sure how much they’ll show within the actual experience other than the pair being heavily implied
I could be wrong but I’m like 99% sure they said somewhere that those two were canon
@@phantomkowai6621 hell, the single pea on a plate could also represent Eddie is alone in the dark abyss.
Hope nothing happens to him though, because he's one of my favorites
Also, has ANYONE else noticed that when Wally sings "Toyland", he sings a different lyric that's written in the transcripts?
@@torytellstalesI think Wally has a hard time understanding Home because he’s autistic, and a big autistic trait is having an especially hard time understanding none-explicit communication (which Wally has been shown having a hard time understanding in the past, like sayings/metaphors and even jokes)
And I would say the way Home communicates can be pretty vague
I wonder if Eddie intentionally mixes up the mail so he doesn't have time to think about being stuck there forever? (It's been theorized that he was once human.)
THEORY: What if the puppets are the ones sending the substances and don’t want the show to come back because they were poorly treated or @bU$ed? Then the one sending could want the show back instead, like Wally!
Oooh, That's such a good idea. Would that mean they are still alive? Maybe just Wally is alive cause of the way his About is written.
@@TheBuzzofEmmaBeemaybe! Maybe they had fallen into a coma or something but since more activity has happened maybe they woke up,
I am so happy the website is back.
Guys, do you think the Toyland song is actually referring to the neighborhood itself? Especially since Wally is singing it.
Yes !!! This was my first thought when I heard wally singing it
@@feyi8167 it's so perfect when you connect what happened to Eddie later on!
I did noticed that every update seems to have a theme or focus on one character - the bug update being frank, Halloween being Sally, and now Christmas for Eddie - I suspect that Barnaby might be next in the spot light because of all the new bits hinting at things he’s affiliated with, despite the finale of this update being focused on Eddie
However, if the next update is spring related, then it might be Julie since she mentioned that she goes into hibernation and will wake up in the spring time
Can we talk about your shelf , the black shelf unit in the background, with Rainbow high dolls and my little pony Twilight!😮😂❤
UH, UH, YOU DIDNT SEE THAT!!!HAHAHA JK. I started collecting the rainbow high dolls recently🤣 They’re so cute lol! I’ve had my MLP stuff for a whileeee and I low key wanna continue collecting😂

I FOUND SOMETHING
So i was going through the website while listening to the video and the little line of the characters heads that separates pages everyones looking to the left or right except for wally whos looking right at you
ALRIGHT, HERE GOES MY THEORY (WARING: LAAARGE TEXT):
So... slowly characters are becoming aware of what's going on 1 by 1.
The obvious first is Wally, with the answers in from of drawings on the old guestbook, his audios on the old site, his calls to the toy phone, his signature in some of the summer update's employee site papers; even more when you look back to the bugs' videos where he seems to disaotiate a lot, even with people around, like the next character: Eddie
Oh my, What to say about him in this update?
The characters that became aware try to comunicate, through the site itself, audios with distortions, hidden videos in old TV's from thir era, mail and sending stuff related to them like merch and toys
If you ask me, I think the next characer on gaining awareness is Juile, and the last one could be neither Barnaby or Howdy (they're so in character always, never showing signs of anything).
I broke when I found out about Eddie.
He deserves 1000000 hugs😭
Eddie dear: home why?...
Same, to everyone in these replies.
@@Trans_Sam-q4n How many people R using the Eddie puppet?

(Jk you look amazing!)
And also I stalked your Channel so much yesterday waiting for a vid so I’m excited to finally be able to watch!!!
Haha tysm! And welcome to the channel haha!!!! I’m super excited for you to see this one👀
Wait what if Wally is in an endless loop and he has to relive the episodes over and over again maybe that’s why he’s practicing his singing he’s preparing to relive the episode again BUT that’s just a theory (I miss matpat)
DUDE!!! it makes sense. the recordings with us seeing through his eyes, he can zone out until his cue (people saying his name). and he was so excited about Barnaby coming over, (even though the rest of his call was monotone apart from the end when he started hustling to finish the call) he probably doesn't get to talk to Barnaby very much if the other episode snippets are any indication :(
I love eddie but dear lord his arms and fingers creeped me the heck out 💀
Honestly, I can't stop thinking about Home...
@@torytellstales yea you could have a point especially because the bottles had eyes on them
love the outfit, i recently discover your channel and really enjoy!!!
I WOULD NOT know the update finally happened it it weren't for you! So, thank you!😄
This.
(also an added thing I LOVE Howdy's nephews and want to adopt them!)
I have so much more but this comment's so long so I'll leave the rest for later. Thank you for listening to my theories, have a great day!
Frank's pure concern for Eddie at the end of that video made me cry. For me, it instantly added an extra level of dimension and nuance to both Frank and Eddie's characters. I love them both, and also Julie.
I love them sm😭 (also… your tardis PFP is great haha! I can’t wait for the new season!!!👀)
This update was impressive and I'm in awe. I can't wait for more.
Same!! Omg! It’s insane!!!
Yeah, she shouldn't have skipped so much
I honestly need to see the recipes now that you've mentioned them (and they are REAL !) Like you, I squealed instantly when you said you made some recipes from Welcome Home ! Thank you for all that !
The recipes are so cool!!! I had a blast making the Halloween treats with my sister! And ofc, thank you for watching!!!
That TV Cartoon was from Eddie's Perspective?!
I can wait for this channel to make more content about Welcome Home. It's such an amazing proyect!
Love your Home earrings❤❤❤
I have a lot more stuff planned muahaha👀! It really is an awesome project! And thank you so much!
Maybe I'm going crazy, but on the characters page, the "Welcome Home" letters have random splotches on them, like they're slightly dirty? It's most well seen on the top of the "L"
Correction! It's seen on all pages except the home page
No chance the W. in the "hidden" site is Wally Darling himself? After all, he's the only one mentioned in present tense, right? 🤔
No actually that is exactly as I think. Like Wally was communicating with us before why would he stop
Welp, we lost the mailman. (though he could have just been dissociating)
Anyway, Wally is precious and I will maim if he gets hurt.
i want you to know that you are my main source of information for welcome home updates-
oh hell yeah i love this energy
The lore. THE LORE.
I feel like I’m on a FaceTime call with my best friend this is fantastic!
Aww haha! That makes me so happy🤣
Me, trying to make sense with the transcript: did...did Eddie just have an on screen heart attack?
nah, i got that same thing at 5:10 !!! maybe we just had the same glitches on our computers, and i thought it was just my computer glitching too, but seeing yours do it too... idk...
thank God people started making videos about this, I poked around the update and couldn't find anything 😭 (edit: I was also poking around at 2 am and didn't have headphones so I couldn't listen to the new recordings)
I tried to click on the space where that void was you know the one that takes you to where Wally is like, kneeling towards Home? It vanished.
Why Eddie? 😭😂 He's my favorite character.
I am betting on my Yeezys that Wally is the mastermind. (Edit) I still feel like Wally’s deceiving us in some shape or form.
Hi, I just met you and I think I love you 😆, literally my first video on this channel and I’m loving the fan-girly vibes ❤
AWW HAHA! Tysm!!! Welcome to the channel💕
I don't care what anyone says but I'm naming W. William because there is no better answer at this point
I thought the same.

I...Is it _G o r y_ is it our first look at something Graphic!?
SAME!
And it was a little graphic so I did censor it😅
@theinfinityforce8218 What was it If you don't mind me asking?
@@MollyDollyy774 A crushed hot dog with what appears to be a splash of blood (or ketchup that resembles it" on the wall behind it. The caption is "It's A Dog! There it is!"
It is 100% foreshadowing that something happens to Barns
@plottwist205 I tried to search the site but it won't show up for me, thank you for saying, definitely foreshadowing something happening to Barnaby 😭
I'd dig out the 'puppets slowly figure out that nothing is real, even themselves.' theory.
I’m leaning towards this conclusion👀
Maybe Wally is calling these people to make them join his cult.Due to the fact that wally is all alone and so he's taking new neighbors..
I love sally starlet i NEED MORE OF HER URGRGHHHHH
9:43 is it a dead dog?😰
I keep thinking all of the characters are trapped inside of their world, trying to communicate through various means (bugs on the site, the commercials, recordings, Wally's drawings and calls). Maybe something happened - either it was Home all along or the creature from the woods Sally talked about... And so they've been trapped with something incredibly dangerous torturing them.
I think I found the plate from the single pea on a plate recipe, it looks to be a modded international tablesworks 7774. whats interesting is the original design has a red house on it but the pea plate is blank. It might just be for looks but its something to think about.
Man really went Harvard in woodworking for this.
You were right! How would Clown know about this specific plate? Thank you for noticing.
Is it just me or can I not access the site? always sends me to another page saying it's not available
The website has so many cute things waaaaa
I honestly love these videos SO MUCH, because every time the website has updated and I have taken a little looksie around I'm always too blind to find the things that everyone is talking about. It's kind of sad-- ;;

@@theinfinityforce8218 Thank you, Thank you
Just a thought for the heartbeat in the video, in February last year when welcome home was first a thing, the valentines update had a real heart in it.
