- A compilation of German fire trucks showing apparatus which run the everyday kind of calls, like Engines, Rescue Engines, Tower Ladders and Chief / Command Units, but also apparatus for special operations. They are from volunteer departments in small villages, career ones from large cities, as well as volunteer ones supporting the career departments. Some decades old apparatus as well as some new trucks, rental and spare trucks - pretty much anything you can think of. @@Phoenix308 well, there are NO lights on the side of the fire truck at all, it only has the 5 blue emergency lights (2 strobes on the cab, 1 strobe at the rear and 2 LED in the grill); The thing on the side, as mentioned in my reply 2 years ago, are reflective stripes which only reflect the light of my camera back to me

+FFN Einsatzfahrten schon lange her der Kommentar, erst jetzt gesehen - es handelt sich um ein TLF 24/50, welches JA, ehemals vom Hamburger Flughafen ist, und jetzt bei der FF Wenzenbach im Landkreis Regensburg fährt

The one based on a Mercedes-Benz vario chassis is, among with two identical ones, the smallest fully automatic Tower Ladder in the world. Unfortunately the Vario isn't produced any more, it was the perfect thing between a van and a truck chassis
yeah it's a rugid little truck. but it's a shame they're not produced anymore. The one i had was a semi trailer chassis with a sleeper cab i miss it.

EliteSnipz es wäre doch falsch, nur Fahrzeuge darzustellen die vllt in den letzten 2 Jahren erst in Dienst gestellt worden sind, das würde ja die Gesamtheit der Fahrzeuge nicht wirklich widerspiegeln

EliteSnipz danke; ich hab versucht eine möglichst breite Bandbreite aufzuzeigen, was natürlich schwer ist wenn man wie ich im Realeinsatz noch nie einen ELW 2 / ELW 3 gefilmt hat zum Beispiel, in der Gegend keine Grobrände in dem Sinne sind usw. Meine größten Filmerfolge in Deutschland waren allesamt Fehlalarme

I'm just curious, but why are the lights on the Emergency vehicles blue only?
blue sticks out immediately as it's not used elsewhere in traffic, unlike e.g. red, white and green which can be found at traffic lights and vehicles' headlights and taillights; Apart frmo that other light colors have a different meaning e.g. to markt an on-scene command post

Bei Minute 10:00 ist aber ne putzige kleine Drehleiter zu sehen, ich nehme an, diese hat ihren Einsatz in schmalen Straßen oder Gassen, wo eine größere nicht hinpasst, kann das sein? :) Viele klasse Aufnahmen, hoher Qualität.
Exakt so ist es, die kleine Drehleiter passt auch durch die kleinen Hofdurchfahrten in der Münchner Innenstadt.
Ja, es ist eine Drehleiter die spezifisch für schmale Gassen, (Tor-)Durchfahrten, Hinterhöfe u.ä. Einsatzstellen bei beengtem Platzangebot vorgesehen ist. Es ist eine von ehemals zwei kompakten Drehleitern in München. Die andere, noch kleinre, ist leider nicht mehr im Dienst

Wann kommt eine aktuelle Version. Wo bleiben die aktuellen Einsatzfahrzeuge von MERCEDES, MAN, IVECO und vor allem die vielen neuen SCANIAS, VOLVOS und TATRAS.
vor 9 und vor 8 Monaten hab ich jeweils ein 30 Minuten langes Video, einen neuen Zusammenschnitt hochgeladen mit entsprechend interessanten und relevanten Fahrzeugen, die seit damaligen Zusammenschnitt aufgenommen worden sind.
Viele neue Scanias und Volvos sind da aber nicht dabei, und auch nur ein einziger Tatra:

It is, or rather was,the Pod Carrier form the Stralsund FD. It was used to transport the special equipment pod "maritime firefighting" to a suitable emergency towing vessel in case of an offshore fire
They transport so called roll-off containers for special purposes like radiation protection, respiratory protection, special units with equipment for mass evacuations (tents, seating, beds, medical supplies, ...), big pumping units for water supply, etc.

Hallo Heute erst Entdeckt. Eine Frage habe ich aber, die DL ab 9:55. WAS IST DAS FÜR EINE
das ist die ehemalige DLK12/9 der BF München. Diese war eine von zwei kleinen Drehleitern (kürzere Leiter und kompakteres Fahrgestell) in München um in Hinterhöfe zu gelangen, wo die großen Drehleitern nicht hin gelangen können wegen ihrer mangelnden Wendigkeit und Größe. Mit Indienststellung der neuen Drehleiter-Generation mit Hinterachszusatzlenkung ist jedoch die Notwendigkeit dieser kleinen Drehleitern nicht mehr gegeben gewesen

^The European firefighting model is so different from the US. large centralized stations, aerials without ground ladders or large crews, the use of roll on/ roll off vehicles.
large centralized stations is a thing only in large cities and towns; Elsewhere you also find smaller to tiny 1-bay stations, as basically every small village of few hundred inhabitants has its own fire station, the smallest place represented in the video has only 1300 inhabitants.
It's correct that Aerials don't carry ground ladders and don't have a crew cab here; Thatfor Engines hold a crew of up to 9 and they also provide the ground ladders;
Roll-off pods are used in some places in the USA as well, it's just not as popular
What does the blue line mean if it is on a Germany fire truck
that's just part of their design, it doesn't have any tactical meaning

How old can a German fire truck be before it's taken out of service? Nice to see some older fire trucks still in working order.
well, technically they can last for decades. I don't really know how old the oldest apparatus in service is, but most apparatus which are used by career fire departments are replaced after serving 20 years
up to 40 years or even more ... there is basicaly no limit if it works and fulfills the conditions.

Why do they have so many fire trucks? Like in America I really only see a handful of variants: pumpers, ladders, heavy rescue, and mobile command center. That's about it and they all relatively look the same. Hope you can shed some light on this thank you.
well, we have a wide range of apparatus specifications in order to handle a wide range of operations: with the everyday kind of apparatus like chief / command units, Engines / Rescue Engines, Tankers and Tower Ladders, to smaller and special operations apparatus like Portable Pump Vans / Trucks, Hazmat Trucks, Ventilation Trucks, Heavy Rescue Trucks, Technical / Mini Rescue Vans, Logistics Trucks, EMS units including e.g. Large Capacity Ambulance Buses to really rare ones like a frozen carbondioxide tank and nitrogen vaporizers, truck cranes and so on.
Some apparatus might look similar from the outside and are ahrd to keep apart for foreigners, but are layed out different

well, in some US fire departments they put some new equipment into service after recent scenarios, like e.g. the FDNY purchased some ambulance buses after hurricane sandy; Yes, of course there are also special operations apapratus but maybe not quite the wide range which we have here; Upon that, concerning the preparedeness, thjere are many different disaster management agencies in the US, while we have one Federal Agency for Technical Relief. As for the fire departments: despite being a smaller coun try, we have the same number of fire-fighters like in the USA

gefilmt wurden alle in diesem Jahrtausend, aber manche Einsatzfahrzeuge haben eben schon ihre gut 20 Jahre Dienstzeit auf dem Buckel
Manche Gemeinden hab nicht das Geld sich neue Fahrzeuge zu kaufen wir haben vor 17 Jahren ein neues TSF-W bekommen und davor hatten wir ein LO aus dem zarten Jahre 1972

there are many, I mean really many German fire trucks which don't have a pneumatic hi-lo siren, there are also some more in this video compilation like the two trucks at 10:24 or the one at 17:56 or 20:45

Ja, die Erklärung mit dem Rückspiegel würde Sinn machen. Aber bei einem Fahrzeug im Einsatz sollte man nicht versuchen, den Schriftzug im Rückspiegel zu identifizieren, sondern Platz machen :D

Ja aber ich weiß nicht mehr genau. Also die BF hat 2015 beim TdoT ein HLF 20 von Rosenbauer bekommen. Beim Tdot 2014 war es noch zusehen. Seit 2015 ist es leider nicht mehr Löschzug der Berufsfeuerwehr Greifswald. Ich habe es so geliebt.
Das Fahrzeug hatte ja einen VKU gehabt 😭
am schönsten fand ich den LKW von damals, der auch im Hintergrund der Aufnahme vom HLF steht, der dann zum Wechsellader umgebaut worden ist

Das sind keine Schneeketten. Die paar Ketten die unten am Fahrzeug hängen dienen als Ablaufhilfe für Wasser aus der Pumpe bzw. dem Tank damit es weniger spritzt.
Das sind sogenannte Schleuderketten. Die werden im Winter bei Glätte und Schnee genutzt um besser anfahren zu können.

dennis maristela das ist eine DLK 12/9, dieses Exemplar ist auf der Wache 5 der BF München stationiert. Diese gilt, neben einer nahezu gleichen DLK 12/9 bei der FF Straubing, als kleinste vollautomatische Drehleiter der Welt

dennis maristela abgesehen von spezifisch diesen, gibt es natürlich auch noch kleinere Drehleitern, die dann aber nicht vollautomatisch sind; So gibt es z.B. insgesamt 4 sogenannte Bobcat-Leitern bei den Feuerwehren in Kopenhagen und Stockholm. In dem Fall wird die Leiter auf im Prinzip eine Abschlepp-LKW zur Einsatzstelle gebracht, dann abgesetzt, und dann fährt das kleinere Leiterfahrzeug seperat an die Einsatzstelle. Sehr vorteilhaft wenn es sich um enge Hinterhofeinfahrten handelt: ua-cam.com/video/WdlRmx2rZA4/v-deo.html

Feuerwerks FunGE :) soweit ich weiß läuft der Robur jetzt in Kasachstan, jetzt haben wir einen Steyr 15 S 31, auch ein sehr schönes Fahrzeug. lief vorher in der Schweiz und hat deswegen noch den Signal-Grünen Anstrich. ^^

+Thecrazycrafter well, obviuosly not all do so, but depending on the ytype of call and the kind of station, it makes sense to respond in a convoy instead of like 5 apparatus responding on its own, with traffic forced to move over 5 times instead of only once

@@ffr3231 nein, das ist nicht korrekt. Man muss dabei zwei, eigentlich drei Sachen beachten:
in den letzten Jahren wurden viele Funkrufnummern umgestellt, das heißt dass so manches nicht mehr aktuell ist. Zudem war das Fahrzeug früher in Niedersachsen im Einsatz, und von dort hat es auch noch die FRN auf dem Fahrzeug. In Bayern sind die FRN anders als in Niedersachsen. Und der dritte Punkt, der sich aus Punkt 2 ergibt: es ist ein Leihfahrzeug aus dem Fahrzeugpool von Rosenbauer und kann so sowohl innerhalb in Deutschland alsauch ins Ausland überall hin verliehen werden; Überall sind die FRN anders, insofern kann man daraus nicht ableiten, um was für ein Fahrzeug es sich handelt.
