Based on other clips in this compilation with the same car I'd bet that they have the classic two-tone siren as well and use that most of the time, but when travelling with other vehicles they switch over to different tones which should help make the sense of urgency seem higher.

Yeah you can see and hear lots of emergency vehicles responding to calls across Berlin. Besides emergency services providing ALS, there are dozens of private providers providing BLS ambulances for pimary non emergency patient transports. They have tons of different color schemes there
that's a BLS Transport Ambulance either responding to a larger call, or acting as First Responder on a normal medical emergency, or transporting a patient whose condition got worse. Rather rare to see the BLS Transport Ambulances running lights and sirens in most areas. At my EMS station is was pretty common for the BLS Transport Ambulance doing first responder calls or covering an entire ALS call on its own when the ALS Emergency Ambulance was out on another call already

it's just an old lightbar with strobe lights. Their intensity is great but they flash at a different rate than the camera takes pictures, and as each flash is extremly short it can't be captured by ordinary film cameras

that's an emergency doctor with his POV; in that city there are two ordinary emergency doctor cars, 3 'regular' backup emergency doctors and a (to me unknown) number of doctors which have the qualification as emergency doctor and may run their own POV as backup in extraordinary large incident. This was one of them

no there are dozens of different EMS providers: German Red Cross, St. John, Order of Maltese, Workers' Samaritan Federation, private EMS providers, fire departments etc

Hast du schon ausgedrückt mit dem "wiouwiou" Sound :) . Es dient in erster Linie zu Aufmerksamkeit steigerung, da es in deutschland ein eher unbekanntes Geräusch ist fallen die mehr auf. Bitte korrigiert mich jemand wenn es falsch ist ;)

At the beginning? This one is in Leipzig. Here we have one of europe's biggest train stations, trams, busses and lots of traffic. If there's an accident with a tram or a bus, it's better to have a unit like this...

many large cities don't have any; Thus e.g. Nuremberg didn't have one so far, until the one from Regensburg was moved to Nuremberg; Also many other cities like Osnabrück, Rostock, Würzburg etc don't have any

it's just an old lightbar with strobe lights. Their intensity is great but they flash at a different rate than the camera takes pictures, and as each flash is extremly short it can't be captured by ordinary film cameras

@@hermindasalazar6822 I can sure answer you that, but it has nothing to do with the original comment above. So, the ambulance with the nuclear warning symbol is a specialized unit adapted to treat patients which are contaminated
