Love Edith Holden pages, own several books I am trying not to hoard. I have not tried a paper bag journal before, yours is lovely and inspiring…. You are not alone in not wanting to watch the end of a series, there are many I still have not watched. The only signs of Christmas around my house are the bajillion fussy cuts and printed digital kits. Just had heart surgery and can’t do anything but rest. My work out routine consist of walking back and forth to add paper to the printer..😂 My youngest son invited us to his house for Christmas, we are having crockpot turkey, garlic green beans, stuffing, sweet corn casserole, smashed potatoes, pecan pie, pumpkin pie and chocolate pudding. Have a great Christmas BBQ, my grandparents used to do this. ❤
Just a simple paper bag, then it meets you and boom, what a beauty. Love it. I do wonder how anyone uses these journals, do they stick things over the beautiful papers, or just oggle them 😂. Thank you for the inspiration. Now, Watch the final episode of Yellowstone, youll enjoy it AND its set up for another Spin off series (or more) . I wont say more and ruin it. Cant wait. Enjoy. Have a merry Christmas and a great new year.
💜💜💜 oh, YES!!! You need to watch the final Yellowstone show! It’s sad but also makes you feel good at the same time. It MAY continue, just what I heard.
You have so many projects I love, it's hard to pick just one. I also made a lunch bag journal, I like it, I will be trying to make more, enjoy your day, big hugs and kisses to the cats, 🤗🤭🤭🤗
Hi Margreth, another fabulous project! I hope your health keeps improving and that you have a joyous Christmas with your Husband and Father. Kindest regards from Australia. 😊🦘🐨🇦🇺
How does a simple paper bag turn into something gorgeous .. just like that ypu turned put another masterpiece.. Have a fabulous Christmas season and continue blessings of health and craftiness for the coming year look forward to the next 2
I am so envious when crafters use Edith Holden books...one day I hope to own one! This is a lovely little journal. I think the last time you used a lunch bag I made one out of brown paper so I could play too. So glad to hear you're on the mend. I am a huge BTVS and Angel fan, and I have just finished re-watching on Disney+. Even though I have the DVD box sets😊 I don't care how old I am! TFS❤
I am grateful I found your UA-cam channel this year. You make magic happen and I get a kick out of listening to you while you work. Plus I love your downloads/projects!! Stay well!
Hi Margreth. I've not seen a journal made from a paper bag before... this was very interesting. I love Edith Holden too... I have 3 copies of the country diary as well as her other books. Sending love fromthe UK xxx
Love, love, love this! Love your creations and ideas! (OH! Your winter digital papers are GORGEOUS!!) Great to hear your voice and watch you create! Continued prayers for your healing! Thank you, Margreth!!
I love this! It is lovely to see you making your videos! I wish you a speedy recovery! Merry Christmas from England! This is family time and we as a family that sit down to a very special Christmas dinner! This is the most important time for all the family to meet up and celebrate with a traditional Christmas dinner!
Yes, you need to watch the end of Yellowstone! It was so good! I luv this Edith Holden journal - came out fantastic! Hope you continue to improve! ❤🙏❤️
Great project that I will make as well! I have two of these books - one paperback and one hardcover. You're right, the paperback is the ideal size for this project. As for Christmas, I'm just like you. My mom is gone, so my husband and I will be spending the day with my father. You sound so much better! So happy you are back to doing what you love.
So glad to have you back! No pun intended! You sound like your old self, happy and excited! Love this journal, I made 4 lunch bag journals for Christmas!
❤🙏❤praying for you. Margreth my grandson, Cameron, was diagnosed with Leukemia, on Mon and this group is so positive that I would ask that all of you pray for him. He's 3 and our family is devastated. Any and all prayers are appreciated. I'd like to make a journal for his Mommy to help n charting this journey we are on. Thank you for all the inspirations. Just love you, Ms. Margreth❤❤❤
I’m going through the same fun pain you are, Margreth! I have a bulging disc and finally got muscle relaxers today to relax my lower back muscles to help it resolve on its own.
Hi Margreth, this is so beautiful! I absolutely love it! You did an excruciatingly but gorgeous job on those two fussy cuts, and they look perfect on those pages. Adding beauty to an already yummy page. This was a good pick today! I'm glad you're improving, however slowly. Remember to take it easy as Dr. suggests so you don't end up making it worse. I know how hard and boring it is to stay in bed( the majority of my time is also spent there because of health, unfortunately) but you have to do whatever it takes to get it better. I'm continuing to pray for healing. 🙏 Have a very Merry Christmas 🤶 🎄
Thanks for a lovely video and an awesome journal 🎉love Edith Holden...not easy to get copies here South Africa but I did find one in New Zealand last year when I visited my daughter and family 🎉❤
Margareth, I hope you feel as good as you sound. ❤. Lovely project! You are absolutely correct about the bear claws here - they’re a pastry with icing on top.
Love this. I have 3 Edith Holden books. Two I use so I can use both sides of the page and one I hoard. They are so beautiful. It took me 10 years to rip into one. I couldn't bring myself to do it.
Thank you so much Margreth, I really really enjoyed watching you create this beautiful and stunningly inspiring paper bag journal. I absolutely love ❤❤❤❤ and adore it. Warwickshire is a county in England. It’s so lovely and I love ❤❤❤ how. You add bits and pieces to the journal, which gave it so much meaning too. I love ❤️ ❤❤❤❤ your style of work and your delightful way of just doing what you feel is right. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much for continuing to share your wonderful ideas.vplease don't overdo things. I've been where you are and didn't always heed the doctors I've had surgery twice and have to have surgery again after Christmas. Thanks again ❤
Love, love, love it! What a great idea to use Edith Holden papers for this. I have yet to tear apart my EH book. Maybe soon? I love these bags that are just flat all the way down. So many in US have the fold out piece. Guess they both have great potential. Thanks for sharing this beautiful inspiration again! So glad you are feeling a little better. Hugs to the biscuit makers 🤗❤️🐈⬛🐈
I love Edith , I finally found one at a reasonable price. Yes, a bear claw is a pastry, a meat ball, wow so interesting. My birthday is the 23, thinking about going roller skating .
Hi. I hear all of you wonderful paper artists talking about happy mail. What exactly is this and how do you connect with other people to participate? I really enjoy your crafting. It’s always beautiful and you are a great teacher. I too love the text pages of the Edith Holden books. Doing paper crafts has been my therapy since my husband died last Christmas Eve. I make so many journals and other paper crafts and don’t know what to do with them. A lot of them are prayer journals. So I would love to share them with others.
Fabulous project love it. In Canada it is traditional to have turkey and all the fixings. We will go to see our children so I’m not sure what our daughter in law will plan. For us the best part of the day is playing with our three great grandchildren. Blessings from Canada 🇨🇦
In Canada we celebrate Christmas and Boxing Day. We are planning braised beef ribs, mashed root vegetables, roasted pork belly, roasted beet & goat cheese salad and bread pudding for dessert (Christmas feast). We call gourmet “raclette” and we will do that at New Years. Edith Holden is one of my favourites but I am hoarding mine haha! You have inspired me to use it!
Hoi, hoi. In craft, oud blauw, oud groen. Een beetje zoals de kleuren van vroeger van die kartonnen mappen ed. Ik heb er gelijk een aantal van meegenomen, super blij mee. Dankjewel voor de video, groetjes ❤❤❤
So lovely to hear you sounding so much brighter. For our Christmas dinner we will be having a full roast, with lamb and beef. All of our children and grandchildren will be here this year, so I'm really looking forward to it. By the way Warwickshire is a county, a bit like your provinces or municipalities. I've only passed through it but it looks quite nice. Thank you for sharing this lovely project with us ❤️ xxx
While watching I was flipping through my digitals. I’ll probably use one of your kits for this project. We’ll be house/cat sitting, so I’ll have plenty of room to spread out and craft. The male cat loves to help (not). As always, thanks for sharing.
I’m so pleased you’re back. I hope you are feeling a lot better. I think you’re doing amazingly well considering the pain you must be in. How is the standup desk going? Did you use it today?

Hi love 💖 Nice to see you again 🥰
Your kittie’s making biscuits as we say here in the southern part of the states 😊
You can turn a simple bag into a masterpiece, love it., Our Christmas this year is going to very small and uncomplicated. No fuss, just my husband and myself, and the kids will come when they can throughout the week,.🤷♀️🤷♀️. We used to have traditions but it got too hard and complicated and stressful. Sometimes you need to just move on ,.
And Yes I’m a fan of Yellowstone. What a great series, I’m sad it ended, but rumor has it there’s going to be a spin off with Beth and Rip!,, and I’ll bet more ,. That first episode of this season, holy wow,!!! Right?? And btw, your voice sounds much stronger, glad you’re feeling better. Just don’t overdo , ok ?
Lovely!
Glad you're getting better ❤ I'm 45 years old and a diabetic, I have diabetic neuropathy in my feet and a couple weeks ago noticed a wound on the bottom of my foot. It's swollen, sore and it makes my leg from my knee to my toes swell and it feels like it's going to bust open. I'm worried about sepsis and amputation. I've been praying God heals me and no of that happens. I'll continue prayers for your recovery ❤. Merry Christmas 🎄❤
Please see the doctor. This is serious and it’s better to take care of it as early as possible.
Prayers. Please take care of yourself.🙏
I certainly can sympathize with you. I'm not a diabetic but I was diagnosed with nueropothy almost 2 years ago. It hit me so hard that I spent 8 months in severe pain. I did nothing but elevate my feet put cold compresses and still the pain was unbearable. I cried day and night. I couldn't sleep much because that's when I'd awake from pain and swelling. Walking to the bathroom was a chore. I'm on gabapentin almost 2000 mgs a day. It takes my pain away and all the research I've done leads me nowhere. I'm 67 years old and I hate to think that I have this for the rest of my life. You are so young to have this and I shall pray for you.
Praying along with you. My husband is 55 and diabetic. He has had several instances of what you're describing--diabetic pressure ulcers. Please go to the podiatrist as soon as possible! My husband didn't listen to his doctor the first time and developed antibiotic-resistant infections in both feet, had 4 surgeries including 2 skin grafts, and spent over 12 months in a wheel chair. We were told at the start of 2 surgeries they would be amputating his left foot but by the grace of God his surgeon was able to save his foot. He also developed Charcot foot because of the lingering infections and now his foot bones are disintegrating with no cure or treatment available.
Please see a dr asap. I am type 1 diabetic for 41 years. Had tangerine in toes. Needed abdominal surgery for blockage in intestine. The blockage causes no leg circulation. All fixed now. Take care
I bought a few Edith Holden books but can't bring myself to cut them up-such beautiful images-love them. We BBQ all year long even when it rains. Nice work i love it !❤😊
Lovely! 😍I can never find Edith Holden books ... maybe next year 😀
We call the “cook it yourself” dinner..… raclette. It is fun but I enjoy a good turkey dinner.
Love this
I just saw an advertisement. 1923 has been turned into a series, and season 2 is available on paramount 😊
Yesss februari
Stinky cute ❤😂🎉
The lunch bags in the United States how much different than yours are going to have to figure out. And I don't think that will be a problem I will just have an extra little tuck spot on the inside cover. Blessings and love from New Mexico

QUESTION: Did you make that box? Would you consider doing a video on how to make it? I love the box and it's perfect for my craft room label storage.
I did , there also is a video . Search for storage box
@@SevenplazaCreative awesome 👌 thank you!
You sound back - keep moving -
I imagined a big number of voices unisono telling the die cut part - we were 'nt loud enough, you didn't hear us 😅
I watched Buffy. I thought Angel was a spin off from Buffy. The actor who played Angel plays Temperance Brennen’s partner in Bones
Yes, Yellowstone ended last night BUT I read Kelly Reilly stated, that Rip & Beth are getting a spin-off! YEA!!!
❤
