- Seeing Scarlet Ibis in the wild is one of the highlights of any visit to the Caroni Bird Sanctuary and this is something that visitors to the new Boardwalk may hope to do. The Caroni Swamp is a premier location for bird watching enthusiasts in Trinidad with several boat tours. Not everyone however takes a boat tour and some may hope to spot Scarlet Ibis or Pink Flamingos from the new Boardwalk that has been constructed at the Caroni Bird Sanctuary Visitor Center. We visited the Caroni Boardwalk to see if this is possible.

You are welcome
I was expecting more as well
Understandable
Great video as always. The Boardwalk is disappointing!😢
Thank you
i believe it was built to attract visitor to go on the boat tour lol what a way to make business 😅😊
That might be one of the reasons
😊wow, I really need to visit our bird sanctuary again. can't believe the only time I have been was back in school days. The boardwalk is a nice idea, let's hope as time goes on they will extend it further. As always, I found your content both enjoyable and informative ❤. Looking forward to your next release. 😊❤
Yes many people only went during school days. Next video is a serious security related one and then back to places.
@@pointboy12 looking forward. 👍🏾
I am pleased to see the place has been spruced up, last year during my visit to the facility it was in need of repair, the bathroom was very dark and dingy, lights were not repaired, but our boat tours and tour guide was excellent! I see the stray cats are still there 🤣🤣🤣 I love my home Trinidad 🇹🇹 and Tobago, we must be better stewards of this nature paradise and home of so many birds fish and other priceless creatures!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Yes they have refurbished the center.
@@pointboy12 I’m very pleased to learn of this development!! I didn’t get a chance to travel on the broad walk as it wasn’t open! Very nice!! I also think the area before the entrance needs to be repaved and spruced up!! Thanks for this info!❤️
@@ricardocorbie6803 The area before the entrance has been cleaned and cut back to create car parking and I observed people using it to relax and picnic.
@@pointboy12 yess my friend all great news, on my visit it was filled with potholes and gravel and wild scrubs!! So that’s great news, when next I visit TnT I can really enjoy the place and feel proud!! Thank you 🙏🏿
❤❤
Glad you liked it.
❤❤❤
Glad you liked it.
Yes it’s short. Way too short for me. But better than none at all
Definitely short.
The boardwalk looks like the teaser, a photo op spot ... the real thing is the boat tour!😊
Yes the boat tour is better
Was also told the hours they choose its work hours so what ul see no wildlife the tour would be better
Thanks for the blog 😊😊😊
Yes they close the gate too early for you to see Ibis returning in the evening. So boat tours are better for that..
I hope the surroundings smells better and not of decaying carcasses. I also trust the authorities didn’t kill all the stray cats
There was no bad smell when I visited. I cannot say about cats because I didn't see any.
Stupes
Yes it short.
Have you ever being too sanctuaries in AMERICA. They're not too long. You do not want to disturb the wildlife. Trinidadians must educate themselves. It's a sanctuary. It should be protected
I have been to a few in Florida. Some are short but in the Everglades they are much longer.
It might be better to go on the Broadway late in the evening when the birds coming home
The main gate closes at 4pm so you can't access the boardwalk in late evening.
@@pointboy12 that do not make sense why close early wildlife comes home late evening not in the 12 noon to 3 pm hot 🔥 sun I don't know nah before we move one step forward we will alway be backwards smart ppl in position
Is Kalpoo paying a fee to use the facilities owned by Min. Of Agriculture
I don't know.
Too short
I love is music, you a fan?
I agree
