    It's just crazy to see that Takahashi has been doing somehow the same story since Xenogears in different forms but now with Xenoblade he finally succeeded to complete it and somehow each version can more or less be a different part of the same massive story of the Xeno series. So now is like the very first time he can actually move on and write something totally new or the next chapter. It's just mindblowing. And each series came out in a different decade.

    Whatever the future of Xenoblade might be I know it will be great. Monolithsoft really likes this new style of having an unique story detached from the previous lore until something gets revealed at the end so I am thinking we will continue to go that route.
    Anyways I didn't know A in Elmas outfit went so hard. I need more art now.

      I wonder of the next arc will be in the same time period and planet/dimension but in each game from a different pov, different protagonists from either side.
      They could also do a kingdom hearts and hide lore through secret super bosses

    It's actually never stated that Yuriev was born in space. Just that he was "hundreds of years old" and the first test subject to come back alive from the first U.M.N. transfer experiments. In fact there is a pretty interesting comment made by Yuriev in retrospect during the same conversation where Sellers bring up the fact that Abel was alive during the Era of Lost Jerusalem. Dimitri state in a joking manner that Abel is his partner and that he used to be held in the same facility as him back when he was a test subject.
    Funnily enough it's implied that Vector was already developing the U.M.N. mainframe during the Era of Lost Jerusalem as well. It's not that hard to figure out what happened there.
    Likewise it's not really stated that the Nephilim experiment is the event that caused the Earth to be lost for good. In fact the actual timeline between the Nephilim incident and Wilhelm sealing off the Earth is implied to be quite long in the official timeline (as in potentially 400 years at most). It's actually really possible that Grimoire fucking around with the Zohar led to the slow decay of Earth, leading to the push for space exploration we see in FR. Klaus actually mention that the Earth is already mostly devasted due to "human action", this could be the decay implied by the saga timeline as well as the constant war from the salvators trying to steal the Zohar. Klaus' experiment being the one that pushes things too far and forces Wilhelm to seal the planet as the phase shift started by Grimoire to reaches an incredible speed.
    As for the Zohar being in two places. Do people forget that this thing is a five dimensional hole in reality? It exists above time and space as we know it. For all we know it could have teleported back in time to the Immigrant Fleet when Klaus died.
    TLDR: all these "plot holes" are vague enough to be explained with current lore like the Nephilim experiment, or there is no actual contradiction when you look closer at what is actually said about them like the Dimitri issue or the Zohar warping around
    Unrelated but speaking of crackpot theories about Galea, there is actually a good chance that she is herself an android or some form of very early realian. Her japanese name is Galatea, which in greek mythology is the name of an artificial woman made of stone who is given life by the gods. If you pair that with the fact that she became a machine god in the XC1 pocket dimension in contrast to Klaus becoming an organic god, and it makes a lot more sense why everything Meyneth made was mechanical in nature.

    • @imperfectworks7064
      @imperfectworks7064  11 місяців тому +1

      About Galea, yeah, thnks for the extra fact!, Alvis said they created life in their own image, hence the Machina.
      About dmitri: Dmitri and the designer children are from the TC.4500s, earth was lost in TC.0006
      Vector's U.M.N experiments were in TC.4400
      About the Zohar:
      There are no fleet's leaving during the experiment, only before. And if it is as you said that it teleported to the oast after Klau's death, it would mean that before his death there wpuld be 2 zohars at the same time, in Alrest and in Militia or Abel's ark. There can only be one original zohar, the center of the conflict. There is a strict timeline for the Zohar to follow, beginning of the univeres, eath, jesus, lake, space, etc. So we can't just resolve everything with a theoretical time travel. We've only gotten to the past through visions and memories/data.

I was working in the next video when I received a notification from youtube about another request for subtitles in this one. so I went to check why the automaric ones weren't available yet and discovered there were some early ones that I could easily edit. So Im doing that now, subtitles/captions very soon!
    Can't believe it was so easy, I thought I had to work in a different format like .srt

    Nice recap of the lore! Truthfully, ever since I played Xenogears, I knew how deep the lore is and I think that transcends to all Xeno games and in my head, I always think that all of these games are just part of a larger Xenoverse. Hehe, just my theory :D But I truly never imagined that there are recurring themes of the same aspects before so this video is a really good welcome :D

    (I use Google translate so sorry if there are any mistakes and sorry for the text which is very long)
    I will present my vision of the next game by starting by imagining its introduction:
    We have the image of the Earth, or rather of a new Earth. Although seemingly identical, it conceals within it a new place. As the Nintendo and MONOLITHSOFT logo appear, the camera dives down onto the planet, cuts through the clouds (like the intro to Xenoblade 2) and reveals a gigantic, thriving city. This would be technologically advanced but not "futuristic" like the cities of Xenosaga, rather it would be a mixture of modern and some older elements. We would have a focus on a character (perhaps the main protagonist), followed by dialogue or even an introductory gameplay sequence. We would see the cohabitation of a multitude of human races: Hayenthes (High-Entia in English I think), Machinas, Nopons but also Gormottois, Ardainiens or even Indoliens (even if these names no longer represent much in this new world where the titans no longer exist, except their vestiges) However, at one point, a slight rustling is heard and everyone rolls their eyes to the sky. It's up there that a gigantic ship appears like they've never seen before. Made of a dark and tenebrous metal, the ship seems to carry within it an immense blue sphere and on its side a symbol, an image is revealed through the clouds, no one knows at this moment what it represents... (he says actually represents the American flag and the blue sphere is a city like NLA). It is the Icarus ship which returns after many years, carrying within itself an ancient humanity, orphaned by the planet that it believed to have lost forever, its Lost Jerusalem. The Exodus project having failed for them (they found no viable planet), they had abandoned all hope until they received a distant signal, a violent energy wave coming from their former home, coming from the solar system (merger of Bionis and Alrest). It was then that they returned to the place where they had abandoned everything but where now nothing remains, except this new humanity that they will have to face.
    The planet, for its part, has changed a lot. A new island appears there, it is Aionios (even if this name no longer suits it, the eternal present having ended). On this island, the ancient titans are unrecognizable and many cities have developed. In a corner, abandoned by everyone, Origin sees itself eaten away by time and vegetation, a part having even been dismantled in order to use its materials for the construction of new buildings, what remains being the last proof of a world which had once existed, a world where time was frozen. However, beyond the ocean surrounding this new Aionios, there would be our good old continents, untouched by any human mark. (These were already there in Xenoblade 2 but hidden by Claus' cloud sea which ate away the last human remains). The inhabitants of Aionios could then have explored them and started to colonize them, like other humans before them, a long time ago. Of the ancient world there remains nothing, or almost nothing... Somewhere remains the ruins of the three space elevators, namely Rhadamanthus, Aeacus and Minos. For Rhadamanthus, the ruins of Morytha would remain around the base, once again lit by the Sun. At its center would stand an immense metal pillar entwined by a long-dead root...(the world tree) As for the other two, no one knows where they are but following the collapse of the orbital ring at the end of Xenoblade 2, these, like Rhadamanthus, must be in poor condition. It is possible to think that during the game we will be led to explore one of them, in order to discover documents which have survived, teaching us new things about the Aiodos society and the ancient world. Therefore, it would be possible to imagine having a flashback cinematic where we would see Claus and Galea talking, working or whatever, and not the scene of the experiment.
    It is thus on this new Earth that the events of Xenoblade 4 would take place, the face-to-face between the old humanity who came to claim its possession, and the new humanity which inhabits the Earth at this moment. So ! Thank you in any case for your video which is just impressive, you exposed a vision that I had not thought about at all and which inspired me a lot (as you could see lmao) so really, from the bottom of my heart , THANKS.

      Thanks for your time writting this. We have similar ideas for the visuals (I'll eventually make a model of some of these) like Origin dismantled in the background (with the upper half in bord form) and overgrown, I also imagine, since the worlds remerged with it, to have origin bird fused with the land too, CentOmnia for examole as that's where Origin fell (but also with access to the sea. I imagine its chest being cut open as an explorable area, with the sound of water drops and voices from time to time (due to Origin metal, they could call it ghost valley or something) I wish we do end up having Origin and remains of the old world abd stories even as monuments and NOT do a Zelda Tears of the Kingdom where all of the sheika tech mysteriously vanished.

    • @imperfectworks7064
      @imperfectworks7064  Рік тому +1

      About the other Earth continents, Klaus said that all that was left in Earth from the old world was Radamanthus and Morytha, that many people and many things were lost to other dimensions (asides from his cut in half dimension). With the worlds fused again, we could have buildings and the old continents back but twisted or torn, lile XC3 or XCX concept art. Would be cool to explore. Yeah searching for the towers and unlaunched ships would be crucial, weapons? Tech? Information? A crucial plot device? Communication to reach other ships? Who knows, we could be wrong, I hope not.

    Regardless of what happens, I am 1000% sure that the next Xeno games are going to connect Blade, Saga, and Gears together. My big theory about the next game is that it will be Xenoblade X, but this time, it will be revealed as Xenoblade Chronicles 4, the true form of Xenoblade X. I feel like making X part of the main series makes sense in terms of keeping the entire Xenoblade series under one roof, and it helps from a marketing perspective. X would be taken more seriously if it wasn't treated like a spinoff. Plus, I feel like Monolith put way too much effort into Xenoblade X only to never touch it again.

      I guess "treated like a spinoff" is accurate in the way Monolith and their publishers have historically treated spinoffs like dirt and pretended they don't exist unless it was convenient to reference it.(It will never be ok how Missing Year, something you need to fully understand the story of Xenosaga EP3...was forever removed shortly after EP3 released. Like come on, what?)

    Next entry gonna be insane not only cause the Klaus trilogy is over and the next game will probably have a new age of stories to tell but it will be on the switch 2 where graphical limitations will be greatly lifted, I am just hoping the next side owns up more to having a sci fi focus I think its time.

    While I really liked the video and you’re incredibly knowledgeable about the series like me, I think Xenoblade 4 will not include anything Neo Aionios and while your idea is cool, I don’t think any of the recurring Perfect Works elements will come back in the next game until maybe it’s a trilogy. Takahashi could have KOS-MOS fall to Lost Jerusalem but people won’t know it is her. She will just be called something else until it is revealed that she’s the original KOS-MOS in a future entry. It’s how these games tend to go. I think Noah throwing his sword in the water and Future Redeemed’s end credits symbolizes that the endless now aka Perfect Works is now destroyed. Takahashi wants to betray expectations with the next Xenoblade in a good way so I think it’s very possible that yes we will get Xenosaga elements into the next Xenoblade but I don’t think it will be 100% the same characters until Takahashi connects his series with a last game again. Think about it… why get Joanne Hogg back only to start more Perfect Works in the next game?
    But it was a very enjoyable video and compilation of why this series is so amazing and my favourite of all time. KOS-MOS may be the blue light because Xenosaga episode III outright states it in her database entry once you complete the game and Takahashi loves to leave hints. So while I do think the next Xenoblade will be something completely new, it won’t connect Xenosaga truly until the last game.
    Also, I didn’t know Zarathustra’s Key and Origin Metal share the same design so that’s a complete new one I saw nobody talk about. Thanks for pointing it out!

    As far as I'm concerned, We are going to get our Xenochronicles 4, regardless of whether Xenosaga is canon to Xenoblade or not. The only reason I believe that is because you reminded me that Memory Space exists, and you planted the idea that the fogbeasts are coming from Memory Space. Slap a Conduit which oh so conveniently noped out of the positive universe into that Memory Space and bam, you've just recreated the conditions for the start of Xenosaga 4, without any of the plotholes that come from a connected canon.

    I think you forgot the biggest contradiction X brings, and that's the whole aliens having their own civilization. I understand you keep calling them synthetic beings to better show the similarities between X and Saga, but they are also the biggest difference between both entries.
    A giant point in Xenosaga is that mankind was alone in the universe, which is not the case for Xenoblade X. The Blade trilogy has kept the goings of outer space completely irrelevant, so it cannot be used neither for or against Saga or X being a part of the same timeline as Blade 1-3. There is also the bit about Ghost in X, what DO we know about Ghost outside of them looking like a Testament from Saga? And the Samaarian Mothership and Abel's ark, they ARE similar in design (just like how so much in the whole Xeno series shares design aspects) but their origins and reasons for being are completely different.
    Don't get me wrong, the theorizing about what will come next if neither Saga or X connect is great! I just found it odd that the video picks and chooses what to mention for when comparing the the similarities and differences of Saga and X to the numbered Blade games

    • @imperfectworks7064
      @imperfectworks7064  Рік тому +2

      I just wanted to compare them in very general terms, just like how Gears, saga and blade plot threads are so similar and yet different. If you look at the general ideas you can see the general outline of perfect works. I didn't want the video to be THAT long so I had to keep some stuff and cut corners.
      In regarda to the Ghosts, asides from looking like Origin and interlinks. The mira secret files says about both the Ares (the ouroboros like skell from which mathew's took assets) and the ghosts ships say that their texture is like flesh and charcoal. That both charge over time and start to glow with time. The ares having a "heat/burn mode". To be "heavenly". Use black matter in their weapons. By Elma's dialogue and its appearence, we also know that the Vita was theirs or their technology/handywork. Curious as the Vita was supposed to be a bew Vessel for "the great one". It was the Ghost that followed the White Whale after 2 years and made them crash in Mira, not the Ganglion. That's all we know

    I have a different opinion to what a lot of people believe, i think the following, the Xeno universes have certain constants, i call them universal constants, they exist in all the universes in some shape and form. As such all the references to X, Saga and Gear are that in the canon of the lore, not so much proof of those works being canon or not.
    So with this said, the Xenoblade Klaus arc that we have been following is basically a 3 games long remake of episode 5 themes, and plot points. I don't think we have explore all the themes just certain plot points of Saga.
    With this have been said, i do think the Xenoblade Chronicles X, from what i know of the story (Which is all because i don't care about spoilers, experiencing something by yourself and seeing someone else going through it is different and playing something makes a greater connection then watching the cutscenes) was suppose to be the beginning of a series of remakes for XenoSaga, but that didn't work out.
    So i believe that what's key is the following story arc it's the next points, the fixiation on the future of both base game and DLC in their epilogues, the clock of the ending of base XC3 being at 6's o'clock when it resumes time. And the fact that the majority of 3 is to freaking in your face reference to gear, more then any other game, each freaking first trailer of base game and DLC if you are a Xeno fan made you think "Oh hi Weltall" "Oh hi Fei". I think that Takahashi wants to tackle the themes, plot point and ideas of episode 6 of the timeline that can be found the XenoGear's perfect works. Until i played XC3 i wasn't sure if it was the last part of the remakes of episode 5 or the beginning of the episode 6, but after experience in the base games, i was sure what comes next is episode 6 and after seeing freaking Matthew and all the references to Saga and X, i was a 100% sure, Takahashi is not interested in retouching old ground or implied old ground, he wants to finally write that episode 6, that he had on his mind for so long.
    So with this is, do i think the plot points that you present are wrong, not sure, but i do think that the blue light is related to the unknow, it could be a conflict for the original Earth, to a conflict with some kind of divine being unknow to us, or the unstability of the universe that's imply in episode 3. It's pretty open, because the whole radio i don't think it's for the purpose of predict the future, i think it's for the purpose of "Don't ask for remake of Saga right now, here have an overall idea of how different it would be on a general scale with this references".

      In fact you are more correct as Cross better symbolizes what Mira is, a point or intersection between different races, species and even time due to professor B

      @@imperfectworks7064 Honestly, I thought it was more a reference to Monolith Softs history with crossover titles using it in the name - Namco X Capcom, Project X Zone, etc. In both those cases, it’s pronounced Cross as that’s traditionally how Japanese speakers refer to the symbol and because they’re Cross-overs.
      But I also think it speaks to the Mimesome folk crossing over into Mira, which seems to me to be potentially a form of the reunited recreated Earth (or Aionios if it was merged properly rather than frozen in the endless now).
