Voice Acting- Doc Scratch

  • Characters are from Andrew Hussie's webcomic "Homestuck." All praise for visuals and storytelling are to be directed to him.
The first voice you hear is a free text-to-speech program that I found from Google. The voice after that is my attempt at Doc Scratch. I am no voice actor, so please forgive any sort of shenanigans you may or may not hear.

This is probably the best voice I've heard for Doc Scratch, though it isn't *quite* perfect because it could use a bit of a British accent (doesn't have to be exaggerated or anything.)
Most other voices I've heard go for something monotone without any emotion when that doesn't quite fit his character; he's done a few too many silly things for that. Here, on the other hand, you've got a bit of personality in the voice. The little stuff you added that's not written is just excellent, like at 0:57

  • @TheAmberFang

I just keep coming back to this video. There's just something about the haunting echo effect that's totally addicting to listen to. I'd just love it if the author made some more videos.
