Hmm, I remember buying a ticket for this concert, I think it was in April or early May 1994, but then Pogo canceled as he often did back then. He finally came to Carnegie Hall the following year, but with a different program (incl. Symphonic Etudes by Schumann), and that was indeed unforgettable. In 1994 he did tour with the Scherzi/Pictures program featured here, but this particular recording cannot be from Carnegie Hall. Do you have any more information on where it may be from?
