@@Meme_0h3 Okay, it's something you'd need to personally measure yourself. That's what we did at my bakery back then cause there's no particular standard as it differs based on the height especially and the design you're making.
Hello Kemisola, not very clear about the question but if you're asking to know if a handmixer would work, I believe it should if you make in small batches.
Hello Uju, I don't really have one but back home, I think I used to make the 250g:500g ratio. Can't really remember now but for best results use Shortening not the 'white fat' and you can add some bit of white colour. Hope this helps.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us ma, your channel has really been helpful to me since I started my baking business again. Please I will like to know, this American buttercream, is it different from the normal buttercream we us here in Nigeria, or is it just the name because the recipe is almost the same?
It's my pleasure, happy to know Chioma. Thanks for your kind feedback! Would say what differs here is the ratio of the ingredients so we can safely have them in the same category.

Beautiful. Why couldn't you use milk?
Thanks a lot Salome! This buttercream recipe didn't call for milk.
Nice, I generally use this buttercream recipe but without the water. I use milk and other flavouring. Nice though 🙂

@@momentswithchioma it's my pleasure.
Are these ingredients available in Nigeria
Yes, Adeyinka. Not these brands, but that's packet butter, icing sugar, water, flavour - brands can be substituted.
Can i use shortening/cisko instead of the butter ma?
Not advised, as I haven't tried it with shortening before.
@@OluchiImoh okay
Thank you ma
The whipping cream can also be very stable in Uk by adding milk powder.
Please give me measurements in grams for chocolate vanilla and red velvet cake
Thank you very much for the tip!

Please ma can u use margarine to make American buttercream
Yes, you can but for this, I recommend using butter except you're making the classic buttercream recipe.
Is it possible to take us along on how you made your first costumer in the UK
It wasn't for a customer but I sure will when I do.
Was it easy to spread?
Yup! It definitely was.🙂
Please what’s the name of this butter
0:13 That is it.
Does it crust? Kindly advise
Hello Debbie, no, it doesn't.
400g icing sugar🙃
Nah, wrong Priscilla!! You know cause this your emoji!😂😂😂😂
900g of icing sugar
Yes!!!🥳🥳🥳🥳
Is it compulsory to add water to buttercream?
If the recipe calls for it, yes.
900 gram
You're right!👍🏼
There's a difference using butter for buttercream icing rather than using margarine.
Like a World of difference.💛
Alot sorry thanks
You're welcome.
