You'll never truly have that in a Gacha Game. There are two competitive modes in PGR which use a point-based ladder system. You can pay for power boosts, that's just how it is. I find, though, in comparison to other gacha games, the power boosts you get from higher ranks and affixed weapons isn't AS dramatic. I started late on the JP server, as a F2P with monthly pass, and was missing Alpha, who is incredibly important to have for the competitive modes. I still manage to bounce between the highest and second highest rank in Warzone (timed wave-kill mode) and score in the top 3%-5% in Pain Cage (timed Boss Kill Mode). Skill and proper teambuilding goes a long way in PGR and a better player can close the money gap to an extend.
How can we get new weapons for the structure besides pulling on the weapon banner, is there a way to get 4-5 star weapons for every category like greatsword for Kamui for example?

5$ a month is all you need for all the S-Ranks and a high chance at all their weapons. Hasn't changed much either in the 1.5 years the CN version has been out!
@@XastherReeD A question if you don't mind, I'm kinda curious. You can get all the S-Ranks & high chance for signature weapons, so why would some people whale in PGR ? Genshin would have constellations, Granblue would have primal grids, stuff that really gives an advantage. There's nothing like that in PGR ? How do they make money then (aside from the 5$ pass) ? Usually gachas have some high level stuff very hard to access for low spenders. (As a F2P/low spender, i'm not gonna complain if there's nothing like that).
@@LordLolik There's a few things they make money with. For one, the S-Ranks get really nice looking skins that change everything besides the voice lines. One of my favorites is the dark lightning skin for S-Bianca, if you want to look one up. There are also "constellations" in this game. Upgrading a character in Rank is the equivalent to that. The highest is "SSS+"-Rank. F2P can only bring S-Rank units to SS, while spenders can get their favorite characters up to SSS+ by spending on the debut banners. Same with 6* weapons, you can fuse other 6* into the one you are looking to strengthen and unlock passive bonuses for your characters. The increase in power is potent, but it's not as insane as some of the max constellations in Genshin or a dupped up character in Honkai.

This guide helping my peanut brain breakdown this game on global launch TYSM. I just have a few questions to ask: - Are each Sig weapons a 6 star - On launch is it worth investing in 4 stars as a stop gap while I wait and grind for 5 / 6 stars and save the upgraded 4 stars to use later as temps for new characters while I grind their respective weapons. - How often are the sig weapons the best weapon for their respective characters Thanks again, great content. :)
Only the Collab units and compositors. If other servers get and handle the collab same as the CN servers did, then the collab units are limited to their own banners during the collab time. They cannot be obtained after the collab ends, unless Kuro re-runs the collab. Compositors are a unit type introduced about half a year into the games life. They are special units that cannot be deployed with units other than compositors. They are mainly used for special catastrophe stages, where they are significantly more powerful than regular units, but are weaker on normal stages. These units are nothing to worry about, once they release they get their own, I believe permanent, banner and it only takes a 10 pull, similar to A-Ranks, to get them.

Happy I can help! Honestly, there isn't anything to save for besides the S-Ranks if you're F2P or the S-Rank + their weapon if you are F2P + Monthly Card. They do add some sort of skin-gacha later on, but I can't comment on that since it wasn't on JP yet. The only one thing I could point towards being worth saving for is the Nier collab event which, if global also gets it, will be about one year after launch. The summons on that banner refund you some of the pull-costs and the Nier team, if brought high enough in Rank (especially A2) with their signature weapons, are incredibly strong. Contender for best team in the game.

1. The focus pulling applies to all signature weapons for released characters. So you'll be able to pull Alphas sig once Alpha is released. 2. You should be fine doing the 40 pull beginner banner, then saving up and pulling Alpha. There will be a lot of BC at launch with all the story, beginner quests and character backstory missions. If you want to pull for Alphas sig, though, I recommend either buying the 5$ monthly pass or skipping the beginner banner, as you won't have enough for both the debut banner pity and weapon banner pity if you also finish the beginner banner.
They will probably change the release schedule to match up the summer update perfectly with the real time date of summer. For example the 1st summer event that will come in global will come next year june-august 2021, so instead of rushing the content. They might even slow it down just to match summer update with actual summer season. Or they'll really rush it and release it this august by changing it completely, removing Vera as a new charac that is supposed to come with it. (cmiiw in this vera part)
So, a few questions: If I want Alpha, I have to wait 1.5 months, ye? And if I know that's the one unit I want, should I then even do all 40 pulls on the starter for pity?

That's the great part about playing a game that is behind in content: We know exactly what's coming when! There already is a timeline of when which character and piece of content is released. I'll be going into some of that in my S-Rank Selector video soon.

Wait. In the last banner on tab 2. I have a 50/60 attempts before saving for the next character. It was Bianca's Vanitas? Then after that it was Lucia's Crimson Abyss. When I checked, my attempts are resetted back to 0.
Veritas was the 100% debut banner. The Alpha banner you are referring to is the 70% rotating banner. They have separate pity counters. Your 50/60 will be back for the next 100% debut banner S-Lucia "Plume", who releases the in the patch after Nona Ouroboros.
Do the 40 beginner. If you play actively and don't spend BC on anything outside the beginner banner you should have for Alpha by the time she releases.
There is, it's still a gacha after all. The weapon banner is heavily in favor of the player, but it can still go wrong. Also, if you get really lucky you can get ahead in BC by pulling characters before their pity.
Looks like the big IF is whether the game will be sped up or not. He said the Japanese version was sped up, so I'm not sure if that means Japanese players aren't guaranteed every single S-rank like the Chinese players. Guess we'll see in a week.

You can get 30 fragments for every S-Rank as rewards from Pain Cage, which is enough to bring them to SS-Rank. Beyond that is spender/dupe-pulling territory. You can farm 2 fragments for A-Ranks each day, indefinitely.
Your pity is gonna carry over to the next banner of the same type. If you have 57/60 on the Alpha Debut Banner when it ends you'll start with 57/60 on the S-Rank Bianca banner.
There's something I'm confused about. I just did a multi on the Lee 60 pity banner cause I thought I'd just build up pity. I was in need of a better DPS, then I got A Lee. My question is, does that pity carry over to Alpha's banner or not? I will be one multi off pity by the time she drops if that's the case, especially if global decides to speed up the release.
Every banner has their own pity counter. Tab 2 debut Banner, Tab 2 rotational banner, tab 3 debut banner, tab 3 rotational banner. Each of these banners has their own counter. (as does every other banner) These counters carry over between THEIR OWN subsequent banners, but DO NOT carry over between each other.
If obtained 6* is not the focused weap, next 6 is focused weap, if i change current set weap for the next banner, does it reset the pity for focused weap ?
1. The 6* guarantee after you missed your 6* focus is not in the global version of the game yet. Will be added in the future. 2. You can switch your focus weapon and your built up pity will stay. Only obtaining a 6* weapon resets pity.

Where to get black cards/?
So, a few questions: If I want Alpha, I have to wait 1.5 months, ye? And if I know that's the one unit I want, should I then even do all 40 pulls on the starter for pity?
only with the blue tickets that can only be used here save your black cards for alpha
The characters that I really want to pull are Changyu,Selena,Camu,Chrome,Qu,Banji,Vera,Lee,21,Watanabes and 9s.
Start at global launch, play actively, be mindful of F2P BC spending and you'll be able to get them all. :)
good stuff my friend i dont follow meta but i also dont know all the characters and when the characters will drop so if there is a timeline of banners after launch it would be highly appreciated.

There are bundles that reset every patch, though.
Wait. In the last banner on tab 2. I have a 50/60 attempts before saving for the next character. It was Bianca's Vanitas? Then after that it was Lucia's Crimson Abyss. When I checked, my attempts are resetted back to 0.
Veritas was the 100% debut banner. The Alpha banner you are referring to is the 70% rotating banner. They have separate pity counters.
Your 50/60 will be back for the next 100% debut banner S-Lucia "Plume", who releases the in the patch after Nona Ouroboros.

Do the 40 beginner. If you play actively and don't spend BC on anything outside the beginner banner you should have for Alpha by the time she releases.

Will the pity from focused weapon banner count to the new weapon (i.e. Alpha's)?
Alpha's weapon gets added to the pool of selectable weapons. The weapon banner doesn't change, so the pity just keeps going.
So there are no such thing as "luck" in this game? It's just straight f2p friendly :)
There is, it's still a gacha after all. The weapon banner is heavily in favor of the player, but it can still go wrong. Also, if you get really lucky you can get ahead in BC by pulling characters before their pity.
Looks like the big IF is whether the game will be sped up or not. He said the Japanese version was sped up, so I'm not sure if that means Japanese players aren't guaranteed every single S-rank like the Chinese players. Guess we'll see in a week.

Tab2 I pull20 times S event Bianc but I miss her so that 20times pull will be pitty on another S event character for only need 40 times or restart 60?
The next debut character, Ice Lucia "Plume", will be 20/60 on Tab 2.

You can get 30 fragments for every S-Rank as rewards from Pain Cage, which is enough to bring them to SS-Rank. Beyond that is spender/dupe-pulling territory.
You can farm 2 fragments for A-Ranks each day, indefinitely.
Queston since global did lauch if i do a 10 pull for S lee does that 10 pulls carry to Alpha banner?
No, they are different banners.

Your pity is gonna carry over to the next banner of the same type. If you have 57/60 on the Alpha Debut Banner when it ends you'll start with 57/60 on the S-Rank Bianca banner.
There's something I'm confused about. I just did a multi on the Lee 60 pity banner cause I thought I'd just build up pity. I was in need of a better DPS, then I got A Lee. My question is, does that pity carry over to Alpha's banner or not? I will be one multi off pity by the time she drops if that's the case, especially if global decides to speed up the release.
Lee's banner is the rotating banner. Alpha will be on a new series of banners we call "Debut" Banners. They are different banners with their own pity.

Every banner has their own pity counter.
Tab 2 debut Banner, Tab 2 rotational banner, tab 3 debut banner, tab 3 rotational banner. Each of these banners has their own counter. (as does every other banner)
These counters carry over between THEIR OWN subsequent banners, but DO NOT carry over between each other.

If obtained 6* is not the focused weap, next 6 is focused weap, if i change current set weap for the next banner, does it reset the pity for focused weap ?
1. The 6* guarantee after you missed your 6* focus is not in the global version of the game yet. Will be added in the future.
2. You can switch your focus weapon and your built up pity will stay. Only obtaining a 6* weapon resets pity.

@@hilmanadiwibawa6584 Weapon banner is not 50/50. Every 6* you pull is 80/20 to be the weapon you focused on. Your pity is not lost when new weapons are added.
