My brother-in-law and I were there this year. It was such a great time and well put together. Because of this trip my brother-in-law bought an Audi after we got home! Looking forward to Camp allroad next year! Thank you so much to all of those who help put this event together.
My second car was a 2003 Audi all road 2.7 Quattro. I was 18 I loved my allroad. After a break down, and 3 months of sitting I donated her to care for kids tax program. The used import dealer i purchased it from was later burnt down in an arson case because they were just that awful to people. Talking fraud, fudged titles, odo tampering, The works of bad car folk. They made an already notoriously problematic car; a guaranteed problem. I will always love these cars, and all Audi wagons. Silver lining, I learned a lot about vehicle purchasing, and finances. Wish I could have learned more about audi repair though. Wish vin wiki existed back then lol. Much love allroaders!
@Dekiah Brown Dont know if you have it yet, but, BC Racing has a full coil over set up for the C-5 and up. Check them out. Very reasonable on the price.
Hi only now found this on UA-cam. I am in Southern Spain and have the privilege of owning a C5 4.2 Allroad as you so rightly say it covers all the sweet spots of car ownership happy driving and best regards
Used to be involved with this event. The event organizers are incredibly pig headed and aren't motivated by fun. Wouldn't hold your breath to see a new one of these.
is this still a thing i own a allroad at 18 and i love it a lot of my friends tell me to sell it when it was in the shop but once they had a ride they loved it
Since day one I've Always loved the Allroad. If wishes and buts were candy & nuts we could have the best looking and feeling wagon ever made without it costing 170% of it's sticker price over 10 years of ownership. Instead, Audi gave us the beautiful spastic child that only a wealthy mother could love.
OK, I agree with you that it´s really hilarious, that you have to remove the whole engine, to get hands on your turbos if you have the 2.7t... When I was an apprentice we made jokes about AUDI stands for: Automobiler Unsinn Deutscher Ingenieure, which literally means: Automobile Nonsense of German Engineers! ( Which spells out ANGE - you only have to add the R. Pun intended. l0l
Loveiskind EyesonHim yea .. me two. I live in Yorkshire England.. I have a 01 allroad 2.7 biturbo 6 speed manual. I bought it because I don't like being the same as everyone else and my passion for river fishing. I can now fish any part of a river on any river in the U.K. in any weather. And not many fishermen can say that. Iv also put rs6 turbos on her home made exhaust and full stage 3. (Done all the work myself) I fish maybe 8 to 14 times a year doing 1 to 3 nights a time camping on the bank. It has scratches, dints, bumps, and mud, everywhere you care to look. And never ever even looked like letting me down. Iv had drivers in all sorts of suped up sporty cars pull along side me and ask in amazement, What the hell is that ? After iv slowed down for them of course, , you see, I have had lot's of cars and some very good ones.. But nothing that as come close to the allroad.. It can go anywhere up anything pull anything and leave super car's in its wake. It is the most amazing car iv ever owned. And boy' does it grow on you!! .. And off hand! I cannot think of another car that can do alll the things this can. And does them all competitively... And I can tell you now, seeing the face of some fancy dan dude in a 911 turbo when he realises that a mud splattered station wagon with 3 guys and enough kit to move a small army can pull on him time and time again. That alone is worth every penny iv ever spent on her... yea!! Priceless.. what a car...
@@alfhucker462 AND the most impressive thing......it NEVER gets stuck!! I've been in two snow storms here in the northeast US. I've seen people off in ditches and stuck on the very road itself. I just chugged along without a care. I will never get rid of this car. The O1V Tiptronic is leaking trans fluid, but, I will pull that out and put a O1E in it. I love it and I am going to remain loyal. Just like YOU.
hello guys , i am planning to buy a a4b6 wagon for camping and sleeping in summers , and i have 2 questions 1. when backseats are roll down , the platform is flat, so u can make a bed? 2. is 2000 cm3 petrol engine powerfull enought to climb high mountain roads easily?
And then you take a boulder to the undercarriage and it's dead. It bothers me a bit that Audi had the best AWD (Torsen) but never made a fully aspirated offroad car.
Because Subaru and Audi quality are on the same level. This is from someone who currently owns a Saabaru 92x Aero and having owned several Subarus and even more Audi.
Dear Audi USA/AoA;
PLEASE BRING MORE AVANTS TO THE U.S.!!!

The finest Audi ever made, 1997-2004, the 2nd-gen (named as A6) A6.

Can’t wait for the new A6 Allroad :)
This is the motivation I need to swap my s6 avant to a 6 speed. It deserves to stay on the road.

Meet up squad goals #audi

funny how the station wagon is not a thing in the US. Here in Germany around 30% of all cars on the street are all station wagons
A6 allroad is the best
I have a Ford Flex wagon set up as a camper for my wife and I.
And then you take a boulder to the undercarriage and it's dead. It bothers me a bit that Audi had the best AWD (Torsen) but never made a fully aspirated offroad car.
Those are some wierd looking Outbacks
A6 All road with the 2.7T biturbo probably the most unreliable car in the world
2.5tdi is the best option
@@marlonbaird6070 For unreliability, yea also a good one.
If you want a good classic wagon with timeless design just go with *BMW e39 estate*
Rather have C5 s6 avant
Ahh men instead of Subaru lesbians
cough outback XT cough

its trash
You realize that allroads are in the shop and no one buys them you know...Bring All avants and remove the allroads..
