  • We've got a rack of beef back ribs that we can't wait to throw on our Weber Kettle grill. Back ribs can often be some of the best tasting cuts of beef. In fact, prime rib is cut from back ribs so each bone is prime rib meat quality flavor! BUT a good rack can be hard to find because they are usually gouged out by the butcher getting as much of that prime rib meat as they can.
    In today's video, you'll see how to bbq beef back ribs and It only took a few hours to get them tender and juicy. Enjoy!

    NICE BEEF RACK! I'm a butcher, so when it comes to beef ribs for myself, and the boss isn't looking. I may leave a good bit of meat on the bone. Great for piece of meat for us straight carnivore eaters

    What kind of coal's do you use. I never seen anyone light on end and not let all the coal's turn white. I'm new to my Weber kettle any advice would be appreciated

    • @BarlowBBQ

      We've just been using a brand you can find at Walmart. Stopped using Kingsford because the quality isn't there anymore.
      As far as lighting the coals on one side, I use a Slow N Sear it holds all the charcoal - and lighting one side allows it to slowly ignite and burn the rest of the charcoal over the course of the cook. It also helps keep cooking temps consistent. Worth checking out! 🔥🔥

    I’m confused. I just spread BBQ sauce on them and put them on a medium grill for about 20 minutes and it’s the best thing ever. It’s my favorite food ever by far. I don’t even like pork ribs much. Beef is the way to go!!! It only takes 20 minutes because I cut them to be individual ribs.

    Those ribs aren’t meant for low and slow!!! 1 hour tops at 350 the smoke flavor must have been overwhelming on those since there is so little meat!

    • @BarlowBBQ

    • @stewstephenson6236
      @stewstephenson6236 7 місяців тому +1

      I think The “bad taste “ you are thinking of happens when you use charcoal fluid starter. Charcoal that is lit using a chimney starter or in the method shown does not. Charcoal lit by starter fluid MUST ash over to ensure that you don’t taste the starter fluid. Best bet is to never use starter fluid at all-stick to a chimney starter.

      @@hoppeananc I use many different types of spices and rubs for my ribs. To say that I don’t put salt on my pork would be false because there’s small amounts of salt in many of the rubs or spices I use.
      Having said that I was speaking about salt and pepper is all you need on beef at times. I think we all have our own way of cooking and develop our own taste which is what I love about bbq.
