This whole soundtrack puts me on the verge of tears! This game is one of my all-time favorite experiences in all of video game history! At first it was just something to blow me away with after having an edible, but it's become so much more than that! And, as a late-diagnosed AuDHD 40-something who is happy with and relieved by his diagnosis (AuDHD is ADHD + Autism in case you didn't know), the line in the song to the final level "the thing that you've always been but never dreamed" hits me all the way in the depths of the feels!! If I'm gonna just lose it and just start crying "ugly happy tears", that's probably where it's gonna happen! ♥️🍻
I knew Tetris Effect was a transcendent experience for some, but I didn't expect it to hit me so hard out of the gate with this. Absolutely astounding piece, and my favorite of the whole game.
I got this instead of Tetris Forever after hearing so many great things about it. This opening stage was one of the most beautiful things I’ve experienced in a video game
I told every friend of mine who got a VR headset to trust me and get this game. They all laughed or were confused when I told them "It's an experience". They came back to me and apologized once they played it.
There is something transcendent in this piece of music. Something “divine”, if you use religious terms. I have blubbered like a baby to this multiple times. It’s like a huge release into pure love. Some pieces of media are like a little wink from the universe, a little gift of love. This is one of those pieces. ❤
To anyone who thinks this song is amazing; first of all, you right😂, but secondly, give the full version a listen! HtG, it’s beautifully orchestrated, the lyrics are much deeper, and it fits the final credits perfectly.
