- During the Second World War tanks came in many different shapes and sizes. Some of these weapons of war were a lot better than others. British designers would create two tanks that you've likely never heard of. Known as the TOG, these super-heavy tanks were something much more suited for the First World War. They would face trials in 1941 but ultimately fail to meet the standards needed for this fast paced conflict. In today's video we look at the TOG, the forgotten British Tank of WW2.
At Premier History we want to take you on a journey through time and grow your knowledge to see what it was actually like to be in some of the pivotal points in World History.

Its interesting that the TOG has gained fame from being a video game meme!
The British inventors would feel so proud I’m sure!
It's got a very special form of armor, potentially making it more survivable than other heavies.
I can't shoot it when I see one, it's just too cute. "Aww, look at it go! It's doing its best."
The thing gets stuck on a tiny incline and has to take a detour when everyone else is zipping by. Got to give the poor snail a chance.
