[ GEE ANZALONE ] Unboxing New Dixon Drums Drumkit - Artisan Series Ultra Maple - Dragonforce Drummer

- "Dixon Drums and Hardware has announced the full-addition of Gee Anzalone, drummer of Grammy Nominated UK power metal band Dragonforce to their artists roster. Gee joined the Dixon Hardware branch in 2016, and his choice of Dixon Drums comes from their friendship and similar vision to create something unique in terms of innovation, craftmanship and futuristic views. Gee will use a full Ultra Maple Artisan double bass 10 piece drum kit in addition to his personal shaped Dixon Hardware Rack called "The Dragon's Cage", all in full-chromed finish and color. It will be hard for Gee to not be noticed on stage! Gee will be involved with Dixon in several fronts, serving as artist, ambassador, clinician and product consultant.
"After 5 years spent touring all around the world playing with the best hardware , it's time to do a big step up in terms of quality for my drumkit! Now that i'm fully supported by Dixon Drums i'm sure we will do great things together! Can't wait to show the new drumset on stage to our fans" says Anzalone. "The Dragon's Cage has been through it's next mutation, and now that the waiting is over it can be finally shown! I can't wait to light up the stage with Dragonforce with this new chromed masterpiece!"

2:23 - is the attachment for the bass drum just to keep the hi-hat from moving around?
Not really. It's for attaching the HH to the hoop without using the feet.
@@geeanzalone Oh, I see - so the hi-hat is not supported by the pedal as well?
Since theres a bass drum there, the legs of the hihat stand would keep it too far, this way you can mount your stand closer and keep it stable since the legs are not down
