MJ kept telling Di as a kid, that he would marry her. And She told him he'd better make a lot of money. He set out to do that, and wrote WDAN about trying so hard to earn enough to marry Diana.. Several of his family members books talk about how hard he was working to get to Diana...
Stephanie said she was washing his drawls and cooking his food, not knowing he was courting Diana, writing songs about Diana, begging to marry, and wining and dining Diana.
Then he was going to Steph's house, and probably got his dick sucked before he went home ...and called Diana!
I wish that they would have gotten married. Sometimes in life you have to take RISKS. I believe that she would have treated him very very well, made him very HAPPY, and he may have had more longevity. I wish that they had had a child together! I believe that she was TERRIFIED of being criticized by the public.

I was born in the 90s and I love Michael Jackson. Whereas all the girls my age were crushing on Jesse Mccartney and Aaron Carter in the mid 2000s, MJ was always so cool, unique, and handsome to me. I also didn't believe in the BS 2006 jokes or allegations that were being thrown at him. MJ forever 💙

Actually they remained not just friends..:))..Ahmm..I know that Steph said that they did not have sex but she did not mentioned that later they did. I understand why she did not talk about sex like every other lover of MJ either. I remember the Glenda tapes(not the censored one on youtube but the uncut version) when MJ was talking about his fiancee at that time (1989-1992) and their sexual life. U know MJ really loved phone calling and talking for hours like girly talk:)). During the trial these uncut tapes came out (I think that was MJ) and was on youtube for about 20 minutes. Anyway. Joshua McDowell I read and I watched the BTS footage that Rob Cohen also agreed that Diana should be casted as Dorothy. And after this movie initially flopped and it's soundtrack had faltered she did no more films until Out of Darkness and Double Platinum (with Brandy) followed nearly twenty years later.
You are dead wrong Joshua McDowell....Actually Stephanie Mills said with her very own words in an Essence Interview that she was NEVER even asked to be a part of the film version. They didn't even want too see her because they were going in a different direction. What you have heard is a long standing MYTH and RUMOR that is UNTRUE that has followed this film for years....Mills was NEVER wanted or asked or even considered by Berry Gordy or anyone else involved in the film to be Dorothy. NEVER!!....I wish people did their homework and stopped believing everything that is written on the internet or from Wikipedia lol....Diana Ross NEVER had to go behind Berry's back because not one Major film studio even wanted to touch this film unless Diana Ross was involved. Therefore Universal Pictures joined with Motown Productions to take a chance with this film IF AND ONLY IF MISS DIANA ROSS was cast as Dorothy. That's how it all went down.
