I played a very broken game called SCOOT where your objective is to ride a scooter around a skate park. The game was very broken and I had way more fun finding glitches than I ever would have if I tried playing normally. I broke the fabric of space and time. Anyway, follow me on Twitch :p - Ігри

Scooter Compression Fields are a serious threat to even the most seasoned of scooter riders. I don't think many people truly realize just how serious of a sport scooting is, and thus never give it the respect it deserves.

Ok I absolutely underestimated the title saying the game was broken.
It's like if the secret aim of the game was finding different glitches. Stretching the game to both the game world, the UI and the controls.
Truly brilliant.
I was thinking the same fucking thing. If you got bonus points for finding glitches, it'd be the best skatescoot game yet
Addenum: You can wallride off invisible walls, start off with a multiplierbased on how different your designed bike is from the actual randomly generated one, and you get bonuses from random glitches.

The only way some of these glitches could feasably occur is if the devs made an engine from scratch or something.
Engines like Unity and Unreal come with prepackaged code for stuff like walking and not going wide.
This makes the game kind of impressive in its own way. Im surprised it even loads.

12:23 Glitches aside, I can't stop laughing at this one bit. Hearing charborg mash that button with so much effort, his character just so effortlesly levitating from the ground, doing the sickest fucking trick you've ever seen, and then just hitting the ground and ragdolling.
What's strange is that there's something commendable about this game. Like it's held together with scotch tape and rubber cement, sure, but you can still tell someone put a lot of effort into it. Think about it like this, a toddler comes up to you and shows you a drawing they made, and it's easily the worst drawing you've ever seen, but you don't just criticize it and chuck it in the garbage, you say what you like about the drawing and put it on the fridge.
Is that your way of saying that this game was most likely made by a toddler? Cuz honestly I'd agree

All avid scooter riders know that if you scoot too long, if you fly too close to the sun, you regress to the one dimension and become linear.
Not to get real tubular, and ride that gnar on ya, but it's ackhtually two dimensional, otherwise he'd just be a line. Now go hit that half pipe champ.

Most UA-camrs I watch can get a nose exhale out of me but charborg always gets actual laughs. He’s just too funny, man.
Even after spending years working at a game studio, I've never even HEARD of someone encountering a bug like that.
It looks like they tried to accommodate different character body types by changing the dimensions of the scooter, but for some reason made the character's model dependant on the scooter's model dimensions which would just defeats it's purpose in the first place. Then they tried for a correction system the pushes both the models to extremes and called it a day lol
This makes skate 3s physics seem normal.
The Creator played Skate for 20mins and wanted to recreate it but with scooters. What an absolute genius.

The feeling of contorting into the 4th dimension being flung to an alternate version of the skate park and back was quite an experience in my childhood

This would be a very scary purgatory, imagine the only other moveable object in the world flings you and bends you to its will and trying to do most things would break everything. You try and do something and your basic motor skills are being changed constantly. True terrifying purgatory.

I feel like with an update or 2, this game could be just as good as Skate 3. There's clearly inspirations with how you can call the scooter and the customization, but there's not enough polish at the time of this video. Usually saying a near copy of another game is buggier than the original is stating the obvious, however with this game it's crazy as the game it copies is already insanely buggy.
Weirdly this is the second time I've seen a glitch where something gets wide in games in the last week or so? It was like an old GTA glitch where cars could get wider under certain conditions
