Loved the interview and it somehow felt like an "Antique Roadshow" episode...in all the best ways! Was half expecting an estimated sale price to appear in the lower third at the end. So good.
I cant wait for the new generation of parents that build their kids toys from 3d printers. Or even parents/grandparents that learn to build toys WITH their kids. The potential is quite literally endless.

I've got a Mini BD-1 Droid on my Desk that I 3D Printed a while ago, and he gets a lot of attention from me. But Darren's version just takes the Cake as a full size Puppet. Quite an ingenious design and control scheme that works brilliantly, also the Magnet system in the Glove is perfection. Thank-you for allowing him to show this awesome creation off, it's just glorious :)
I went to the Denver comicon last year dressed in my mando armor, and there was a guy that had an RC chopper, and I immediately just started reacting to Chopper for my own enjoyment and the guy behind me and the operator where laughing there asses off
I wonder if the name BD-1 is a subtle reference to Jurassic Park, namely in that BD-1 kinda sounds like the name of the actor who plays Dr Henry Wu, BD Wong.
A GRIM MEMO... I wrote a movie script and alone it will be one of the biggest grossing movies ever made with the story line and the action, but my movie has one problem. You see it's going to touch on the, what i call... The Deep Dark. That's the things in this world the power groups will kill you over to keep hidden or silent. I could leave these things out but then my movie would just be a movie and I want it to be, The 10 Commandments of today's generational movies. The 2 things i want to do with my movie is first.... have people bouncing in their seats which I haven't seen a movie do in a long time, as well as a standing ovation at the end...that's the goal. The second... shine a bright light on Dark America. All the dark corners that cancel culture has people terrified to deal with, my movie will flush out and bring to light after release. And soon after become the topic of every news channel in America because of these topics and subject matters. it will take directors and people in the movie industry who are completely fearless to put their name on subject matters that we are still fighting about today. It will be the biggest movie of the year, but I can also guarantee it's going to cause the biggest protest of the year. This is the pandora's box I am offering to any top director who is ready to fight all of social media and probably...the world. ................GRIM

Without spoilers, the story of this little droid in Fallen Order made me cry toward the end. Such a good little buddy.

Wait till you see pellet printers like the Pollen range. Plastic, ceramics, metal with much cheaper consumables.

I have a UA-cam but haven’t posted much yet. I do more photo documentation for builds but could turn those into videos.
