Needs more story/campaign. I could've seen an alternate Hellfire Club or Shi'ar story for the Phoenix DLC

Us solo players are dying here. The story of the previous games had more replay quality as they had different decisions and hidden content and conversations you find as long as you play with different characters. In this game it's just the same thing 6 times in a row with power scaled opponents.
yeah one thing i DESPISED GREATLY about this game is how they forced the whole full team down your throat
and even dished the REMOVE hero mechanic that X-MEN LEGENDS 2 featured, that will allow you to play true solo
is such a great immersive experience to do full solo runs on those superior games
but that is one of my many complaints about MUA3
so many things about it felt just WRONG
Let's face it, with only 4 X-men slot, we were bound to be disappointed, I mean I wanted the following : Jean, Iceman, Beast, Jubilee, Gambit, Rogue, Kitty Pride & Lockheed, X-23, Emma Frost, Forge, Mystique, Juggernaut. So yeah, I was kind of screwed but in this disappointment I had a revelation, I want X-men Legend 3
I agree I was hoping to get beast , rouge , jubliee , bishop , blink , mystique , Juggernaut , Emma frost . They really should of did 10 characters per pack instead of 4 , for marvel knights they could of done morbius, blade , punisher , moon Knight , Jessica Jones , namor , valkery , she Hulk , song bird , red Hulk . for x men they could do ice man , Gambit , cable , pheniox , beast , Emma frost . mystique , Juggernaut , bishop , rouge . For fantastic 4 mr.fantastic , invisible women , thing , human torch , dr.doom , silver surfer, black bolt , Medusa , Gorgan, super skrull .

With the event tab..I feel like this game isn’t gonna die fast and constantly become updated with skins and maybe even heroes
Demi Dabz i would really love that. One issue the game has is their Community Team. You won’t hear anything about the game for months, then the day before a huge content update - they’ll post something or release a trailer.
If they would have a live service, or at least regular content drops - they need to do a MUCH better job with their communication. Say what you will about Destiny 2 or Star Wars Battlefront 2 - they do an excellent job on keeping fans updated.
You are absolutely right my brother..BATTLEFRONT 2 CAME BACK INTO MY LIFE LIKE A BEAST..I never lost faith in that game
The Lamest Defenders me & my son bought a switch just to play this and we can never find anyone to play with online. This seems like it would be a great game to play with online if itd work

I´d realy like to see Rouge in the Game . She was my fav. X-Men in the TV-Series.
hard to implement her powers though. look up rogue from the old game "marvel heroes" was one of the most interesting characters in an RPG that I@ve played, as you could build her by touching other players and stealing skills from them, so she had a huge amount of scope, as that game had so many characters in it as well. There were optimal ways to build her though, just took some people a really long time to work her builds out as all the best skills were hidden behind having to touch another player that had that character.
also every new character added to the game, added another skill for rogue to steal.
was one of my favourite games, sucks so much that it was axed. they should have never branched into console, if they'd just kept it as a PC game for longer I reckon it would have survived. you got ruined by people on xbox claiming refunds. or something along those lines at least.

The dlcs was advertised as to having "story content". I think not having story chapters sucks. But technically having texts/voice lines about characters and things happening counts as story content.
I wish they would add more story chapters but I'm not keeping my hopes up.
Soul Refix I agree I purchased the dlc pass because it advertised story content and I do not agree with what they have given is enough to be true story content. I love the game but I do not love the dlc they could have done very good story lines for each dlc. Only to hope for something good with fantastic four.

i would love to see my favorite xmen to come into the game and that is Rogue i hope she does get added to the game and see what her powers and her ability,s can do and i also want another 2 more story modes one for the xmen and one for the fantastic for when they get released in 2020

After playing Marvel Heroes by Gazillion for years, Ultimate Alliance is extremely lacking.
Dude I'd probably still be playing that game till this day if it was still around. The asking price for each character was dumb but the game itself was fun.
MUA3 Could have been so much more better in so many ways

This game is so underrated .. first time expansion pack is worth it ... almost threw up over mortal kombat 11 aftermath hustle ... ty marvel can’t wait for avengers game

I was hoping for emma frost or rogue...
Like the game itself, the DLC Pack has some good ideas, but needs to be improved upon in order to be a great game. Needs DLC story add ons, new gauntlet/danger room levels(actual levels, mot repeats from the story mode), fixing of some glitches in the danger room levels that essentially make it impossible to win(Hel mission), an increase in ISO8 capacity(ability to deconstruct all ISO8’s), buffs to characters and their abilities(Ex: Scarlet Witch, Doctor Strange).
This game has potential to be a really great party-RPG experience like the first MUA, but falls flat in its core gameplay. I’d also add an 8 party dungeon-like scenarios to the Danger Room, Survival mode, a legit PVP between teams and/or players.
Phoenix's Cleansing Flames is OP in end game content. One of its upgrades makes it so that the entire team regenerates energy off of it.
Great video! I really wanted the Black Order to be playable. Other than that, maybe Sentry?

They could do an xmen vs avengers dlc it was a great comic would make great dlc so many amazing characters to choose from maybe they can do 8 character two part dlc with actual story dlc.

I agree with everything but Phoenix is probably the best character in the game. She can work with any team due to her EP absorption.
It's a shame we couldn't get more dlc for Marvel vs Capcom Infinite.
That would have been awesome! Obviously X-Men characters would be amazing for that game. I would love to see the return of Cyclops to a modern MVC game, and maybe introduce Daredevil and some Fantastic Four characters (other than just Dr. Doom).

I don't think it's a hardware issue as to why the game's running so bad. Koei Tecmo's game's lag bad no matter what platform they're on. Astral Chain has much better graphical fidelity, & runs way more stable in 2 player than Mua3 does in single player, while having just as much if not more happening on screen at any given time.

Um, Jean Grey Phoenix is actually more phenomenal than what you portrayed lol. But other than that, not a bad review.

Was MUA 3 better than 2? I loved 2 but so so on the 3rd
My only issue is about Phoenix is they use Phoenix Fire powers and forgets Jean Grey Telekinises and Telephaty in X-Men Legends 1 and 2 Jean uses all her powers includes Phoenix só for me Nerfe one the most powefull carácteres of Marvel is not cool and not only that Scarlet witch and Doctor Stranger is same thing.

Why no experience in the danger room?
I bought the expansion pass but I cannot play the xmen expansion. Does anybody know how do I access that expansion? I can only play the fantastic four

I have purchased and updated to 3.0.0 with Rise of the Phoenix expansion. However, I can't seem to select it from within Menu Select although I can see the DLC option there. I am able to switch between the main game and Curse of the Vampire. Can someone please tell me why?

@@raymondjerackas9558 I have successfully unlocked rise of the phoenix by completing 2nd part of the dimension story in the main game. Try this to see if it works.

Can someone clarify on how you get access to the danger room? I had this game for 3 weeks and also have the DLC pass. For some reason the Phoenix dlc is showing but I am not able to select it, I am only able to select the vampire dlc....

Raymond Jerackas it finally unlocked for me I assume it is based on the game play and story level you have to reached. The dlc was made available when I reached the Xavier institute and fought magneto

Raymond Jerackas no problem magneto was a tough especially if you have the difficulty level on high. Once you unlock the Phoenix DLC you can play gauntlet and the first character to be unlocked will be ice man. I am having difficulty unlocking him since you have to pass complete the gauntlet session. The danger room magneto session is hard. You def need to have all your characters at least at level 25+
This is what dissapionts me . I love the game but its lazy bullshit when they ask for exta money for DLC , Name them and have you think there is more story.These damn devs know exactly what gamers want are more story modes and refuse to do it. Honestly all DLC is bullshit and 95% of the time its not worth uour money. And this is a good example right here.

Nintendo only one funded it. Without nintendo funded and publish it. This game would not exist at all. Blame Sony and Microsoft for not giving the game a chance.
I tried to get into this but it’s just boring. I loved the previous games especially X-men legends. This game just feels boring and flat. I wanted to see if the dlc would make it better but nope

John Capobianco balancing would be a nightmare for this game. Characters are all over the place when it comes to their powers. Jean Grey and Ms. Marvel would dominate. It wouldn’t be a problem if Team Ninja would patch the game more regularly or at least have better communication with the game’s fans, haha.
